Personally I say San Andreas. San Fierro in a way can feel just like Liberty City, and Las Venturas and Los Santos bring their own atmosphere. You know, I wouldn't even care if they made another SA and it's the same exact story except for all in HD and like the GTA 3 era's was, 6 times the size LC in GTA 4 era. Who agrees. I don't want to hear crap "oh that will take up room for other features", bullsh*t, look at SA from GTA 3 era, it has the most features, more character personalisation, it was the biggest game in the series, even bigger than GTA 4 LC. I think we need another SA after another VC. I'd rather see a unique and original setting/story/characters than a "remake" to be honest. GTA IV was acceptable because it was based on a different location to GTA III and featured a completely different story, but remaking San Andreas? What would that acheieve? Who's to say that just because San Andreas had the most features in the last generation that it will in this generation? Judging by Rockstar's current path they might decide to go for a more "logical" approach and only allow CJ to do things that a real gangbanger would be able to do (that's what they did with Niko in GTA IV). Who even said that San Andreas would be bigger than IV? IV was smaller than SA, so it's obvious that they're going for detail as opposed to size. They might not even make San Andreas focus on three cities and just have it based on San Fransisco like they originally did. Just compare GTA III to GTA IV; the only thing that connects them is the name of the city (Liberty City). Other than that there is pretty much nothing that connects them. RomanViking Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 San Andreas should always be an entire state; having one city is acceptable, but if they used San Andreas as the name of one city it wouldn't make sense... Las Venturas is referenced in GTA IV as being in the state of San Andreas. So if they were going to do San Francisco they should use San Fierro as the name. If for some absurd reason they decide to repeat themselves a 3rd time, and we get a high res Vice City, and eventually high res SA they better keep it as an entire state! GTA Los Santos wouldn't really interest me, but it'd be better than them recreating San Francisco and calling it San Andreas. trickstar34 Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 I said I'd be happy even if they just did that, but I would prefer a new story, but just for a this era SA like last era's, well I wouldn't care, SA's story was in my opinion the best and with higher quality it would work for me. I just love SA, it's a classic, I'm going to have to say the GTA 3 era SA will be my favourite over this era, though, it's just a classic, in my opinion the longest lasting video game in this decade because of the fact that people still actually play unlike VC and 3. I just can't discribe it. You know what I'd really like? For Sony to make a PSP 2 or something and make the disks hold the size of about 5 GB so they can make a San Andreas Stories or just remake SA for it. I liked especially the desert and Las Venturas, they just can't discarded. and I think that a really big map would be very cool, because people like me get tired of a small city/story too fast. That might have something to do with it being the newest, and most popular, Grand Theft Auto game to come out of the GTA III/PS2/X-Box era. But then again, it's basically common sense that San Andreas is the most popular GTA game to date, so I dont really see the point he was trying to make.
