willy_1
I don't mind listening to his music, after he died. I'm not too much of a fan for his music though, so I'd most likely just skip stations once I hear Billy Jean.
88survivor
Whether you are or not a fan of Michael Jackson's music, there is no doubt that he was one of the rare exceptions that learned from the start. It was just a God given talent he had along and that's quite rare for someone that young to have. Hell, not even Madonna ever had that experience before and all she did was whore her way to the music business at hand. She had no talent, good voice, or excellent dancing skills....MJ had something that was completely surreal. That's truly one of a kind talent that we won't see until someone's steps in, which is going to be quite hard to top. Not even Ne-yo, Kayne West, or Timberlake ever did what MJ started. He was influence by Jackie Wilson and James Brown as well as some of the footwork growing up in Gary, Indiana, but he perfected it all. That's something that Elvis would have never dreamt of. 88survivor
But as long as the music lives on, the music what makes the person live on forever in video game history. Hell, even Rick James is still being played on video games and he been gone for a couple years or so.

Hodgey.
The soundtrack in Vice City for me is what makes this game extra special. So i love MJ song in this game.
n00bX3LiTe
Some of the people that have songs in the game are dead, take Jam Master Jay from RUN-DMC.
Jessica NCT
Then it must be really tragic for you to listen to Beethoven or Bach or Mozart or pretty much any music made before 1950... And also Jeff Buckley (1966-1997), Kurt Cobain (1967-1994) and John Lennon (1940-1980). Also, is there anyone who's played this game and didn't have Billie Jean has the first song they heard? Do you seriously still play the game? You seriously DON'T play the game anymore!? Timeless classic, the best of all the GTAs! Nah, it's my second-favourite behind San An. Although, had it been set a year later, it'd be my favourite. (Because then it would be sent in 1987, the year when I was born.)
Vercetti2008
I'd say that I 've already got used with his death, & I calmly listen to his songs in my mp3 player, which is my cell phone. It was just hard in the start.
BigAmericanTitties
I still play VC, and since i never cared much for MJ or his music, it doesnt bother me.
Jessica NCT
We should be even happy that he is dead. Because he would never again hear all those stupid accusations his critics throw against him. Those critic belong in hell...IMO. If only that was the case - the Irish Sun (and so, presumably, the British edition) has had more stories about him since his death than since he was found innocent in the molestation case in 2005. Heihachi_73
Wonder if it has any effect on the game's value though, I went into EB Games today and they wanted $39.95 brand new for the seven year old PS2 version of Vice City, and $49.95 for San Andreas and the two Stories games on PS2! It must be just EB since I bought both PS2 Liberty and Vice City Stories brand new for $28.84 each at Big W last year, with the latter only being on the shelves for about a month at the time! I'm pretty sure that I was able to get both for £10 in the United Kingdom - having brought SA in London last year and VC in 2007 (I believe) in Belfast. Heihachi_73
I noticed that the PC versions were considerably cheaper, with me seeing GTA3 for a mere $8.95 (around £4.50 to €5) compared to $17 for the platinum, censored Australian PS2 version. Keep listening if you like his work, just because he's dead doesn't mean people should abandon the songs, if people stopped listening to Metallica when Cliff Burton was crushed under a rolled tour bus in 1986 where would they be now? Note that the video is badly corrupted after the medley during the song Frantic. It was most likely downloaded many years ago, probably off a P2P program like Kazaa with the beauty of 56K modems and poor connections... Yes, that is James Hetfield doing the moonwalk at the start of a certain song, and the snare drum is TUNED! The N. Bellic Man
Bow down for MJ! Even though I'm not excatly a fan I really appreciate his input to pop music. And Billie Jean is really one of THE songs in Vice City IMHO. Edited September 3, 2009 by The N. Bellic Man

MyDog
Ironically, I just installed Vice City again after a while, and the first song I heard once I entered the Admiral at the beginning, was Billie Jean It isn't ironical, you will ALWAYS hear Billie Jean when you enter a car at the very beginning of the game. Vercetti Gangsta
Bumpity-bump. Looks like the only thread still unlocked where I can whine about MJ. Seriously though, I don't feel a tiny bit of pit for the guy. I don't care how good his music is nor how nostalgic it is to some people. It simply doesn't excuse his behavior prior to his death! I've gone through quite a few court documents from his trial in 2003 and what I've read is nothing less of incriminating. I mean, come on... A guy who built a whole amusement park for kids, only invited little kids in a specific age group (the age of attraction), never had a genuine relationship with a woman, kept porn magazines all over his ranch (unlocked) in all varities (striaght and gay - grooming process), kept a whole lot of books of naked kids (some that are listed at NAMBLAs site as recommended publications) and even made two payoffs prior to the trial in 2003 - one of $15 MILLION dollars. Seriously, if anyone else had such a behavior and facts linked to them, they'd be shunned by society and put to jail. No doubt. The trial was all about keeping the focus off MJs actions and blame the accusers!
Asoyfy37
Because I didnt like Michael Jackson (he is a pedo, and I first heard his songs when I was about 6 years old) for his personality, I always ignored the fact that he is the singer and tried to enjoy his songs, I dont feel any differens after he died. He "lost it" after he became a Muslim (for no reason) and start using too many drugs (for no reason). (and when he became a whaite man for no reason) I failed to understand what was wrong with him. But after all, he had some great songs .
