Vercetti2008
After Jackson's death it's hard to listen to his song realizing that he's no more alive. I wasn't that great fan, but I like his songs. Really hard to listen to. I'm sure America still can't believe that he's dead. And it will last rather long to get used with that.
Rucke
What, are you kidding me? It's just a song on a fictional radiostation in a video game
Masturmind
Do you seriously still play the game? Anyway, I was listening Flash FM the other day (I downloaded it) and I just skipped Billy Jean because I don't like the song. And the songs of him (or the Jaksons) which I do like (such as 'Can You Feel It') I can just listen without any problem. Maybe it's cause I'm not American, tho I really was shocked when I heard about... well, it. Believe me, if it wasn't about someone's death I'd have used different smilies. If you hold MJ in high regard, or just like Billie Jean, then enjoy every moment while it's playing on Flash FM. It's what he would have wanted his legacy to be; about the music. Smiley001
To me, honestly, it wouldn't have made much difference whether he was alive or dead when I heard his music. Jackson was nothing like the man he had been 20 years ago when he was at his peak. He just went downhill with the operations and his infatuation with a lot of children. Whenever I hear Jackson on Flash FM in Vice City, I just remember him as the pop king as he was at the time.

NickJ47
Michael Jackson was a legend in the music world. He pioneered so many dance moves and is responsible for the exposure of so many musical artists. I haven't played Gta Vice City in so long..... I've been listening to Michael Jackson ever since he died, so it really doesn't bother me. He would want to be remembered for his music, not his death. 88survivor
MJ is Vice City. He can never be forgotten for his contribution to dance or music. He would like to be remembered for his music. Take it from Rick James, the pioneer of P Funk. That guy abused his body with cocaine for years and it did weakened his heart, but his music lives on. He might not be great with the women he was with due to his abusive nature and it sort of took a toll on his character, but this is Rick-freakin'-James we are talking about here. Rick would have loved to have his music as well as his own group, The Mary Jane Girls(Rick's answer to Prince's Vanity 6) or Rick's own group since Day 1, be played on every radio there was. Rick was only 56 when he died. MJ was 50. They made themselves legends of their own right. Edited July 7, 2009 by 88survivor

major underscore
I have no problem listening to his songs after his death, only it's getting a bit excessive with all the media coverage (though his 1980s music videos are pretty hilarious to watch 20-25 years later). In my opinion Jackson did his best work in the 1980s, and I think that's the period he'll be remembered for. After that period, it was pretty much downhill. Rockstar Games did a good job when they included two of his best tracks on the Vice City soundtrack ("Billie Jean" on Flash FM and "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" on Fever 105). 88survivor
Well, Billie Jean is always going to heard most of the time when you start VC. Without two MJ songs........c'mon! You need those for driving. Hello! Despite all the problems and charges he was faced with, there was no other artist that held a spotlight like MJ did. Not even Madonna would ever amount to this greatness of his. Madge was only known controversy and little else. A sucky dancer with a so-so voice. Michael could actually both higher or lower notes. Even when he was a child. Not many people have this, not even Elvis or the Beatles ever dreamed of this. It was a gift and that was something not many could thought possible. It was talent from nowhere. If MJ wanted the longevity, he could have had it and blown Madonna out of the wind. If he didn't have the weirdness, plastic surgery, or whatever you could bet he'll outbid Madonna with a iron fist. He was that immortal at one point.

Just days ago... right when I jumped on a PCJ600 Michael Jacksons 'Billie Jean" just POPPED on the radio. It was really touching to me. It literally almost broke my heart. I got over it though. 88survivor
It is great. VC Music had every 80s artist there is. We are having very few artists that are living with us now and it is a shame, there is a shortage of these terrific talents. Most of these were taken so early, it's shocking still. But their music lives on radios and video games.

Playstation_Loyalist
Well, we should put his death behind us. He will be always remembered as the child-loving, kindhearted man who once moonwalked his way to the stardom of music. We should be even happy that he is dead. Because he would never again hear all those stupid accusations his critics throw against him. Those critic belong in hell...IMO.
Maxrevv
One thing though, everytime we start a new Vice City save, the first song we would hear would be "Billie Jean". I can still remember taking the white Admiral in the beginning and voila, "Eheeyy,Billie Jean is not my lover,uh" . Classic. Coincidence?
Playstation_Loyalist
It was really meant to be that way. 88survivor
If want to remember MJ for the music, we just remember the atmosphere of Vice City as well this kick ass Thriller album sleeve cover with the baby tiger. If we want to remember MJ for the music, we think of this album sleeve that is VC in our eyes. Hell, didn't they have a tiger in the Scarface game right at the beginning? Shows how much an influence he really is.
