Hanneswasco Posted July 4, 2009 Share Posted July 4, 2009 Try to open the game with LaunchGTAIV.exe in the the GTA IV map (C:Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\LaunchGTAIV.exe). I have to reinstall the game...k but all it does is have a busy disc cursor when i try to play but nothing launches... dont know if a reinstall will do any good but i'll try... genie Posted July 5, 2009 Author Share Posted July 5, 2009 I reinstalled the game after cleaning the cd, but it still doesnt run!? the cursor goes busy with the spinning disc than nothing happens? no launch I tried playing from the social club window, but it comes up with a box saying ' the rockstar games social club application is still running...To open the application right-click the icon system tray!? same thing? bought the game off retail store, why won't this launch?! I thought it was patched when I updated social club!? well now after bumping up my graphic settings in the menu, after awhile of playing my computer decides to restart! should i lower my graph settings abit? glad it runs though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
