sam33
Okay so as we all know Summers coming up and I was just wondering what represents the Summer to you?. It can be a thing a person a place an event. It can be anything you want it to be . Discuss To me it'd probably be the first volume of the Ministry of Sound Chilled compilation album. I listened to that all the time last summer and it just brings back happy memories. By the way you can pick more than one thing.
mr_bungle
Summer is awhile away for me! But summer is to me chilling out with mates, jumping the fence, walking across the field and going for a swim in the nice cool river, jumping of the rocks and such. And the Red Hot Chili Peppers are such a good summer band to me, cause just reminds me of me and my mates, cruising with RHCP playing. I love summer
Seachmall
"Summers coming up"? It's July. For me it's all about being off from school, although I don't have to worry about that now
sam33
Well yeah. I normally count July and August as summer. Just thought I'd make a topic about it given the heatwaves this week as well.

SaintJimmy
Music. The right kind of Summer music. That, and hammocks. Lots and lots of hammocks.
tuareg
Hard to describe. Every summer from when i was a kid had something special, something that doesn't happen again. Getting up, going out to the patio, sunrise, looking over the mountains, such a beautiful moment. Then just doing nothing all day basically. Although i don't like summer as much as i used to. I can't really appreciate it the same way. Might be because it's 10x hotter than it was before or that i'm getting older.
Girish
Summer felt great when I was in school because I had holidays to look forward to. Now it's just one of those crappy seasons where stepping outside feels like stepping on a hot stove.
Effy in Chains
Hayfever and one of the shortest summer holidays in not just the UK, but the entire western world. How long are your Summer holidays? 8 weeks, but keep in mind i'm talking of first year college summer holidays, not secondary school summer holidays. I know lots of people with 12 weeks or at least 10 in the same position.

Omnia sunt Communia
Ever since I left school and entered the working world, summer has been represented by a rise in school-aged children filling my various work places and filling the air with mindless chatter - how I envy them. So much time to waste. If only they knew what it was they were wasting.

chris
Summer means work for me, now that im employed as an apprentice summer holidays are a thing of the past What are you training as? Carpenter/Joiner, its actually quite fun, the money is good, working on site is a great f*cking laugh and you get a whole lot of satisfaction when the job you work hard on is finally complete. Once i have some money saved up and my knowledge of the construction industry has improved i hope to get into property development. Basically i have a brief idea of what my future could be, but as i know sh*t happens so im taking it one step at a time.
