Face McDougal Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 Just throwing this out for the hell of it, random and wholly inconsequential news stories seems to take up a lot of space in gen chat... why not a condensed thread for discussion of it? I thought of it watching a CNN video about a teacher that accidentally leaked her sex tape to her fifth grade class... I'd say no for two reasons - for one, some of these threads really generate fun discussions that would otherwise be stifled - like anything that gets thrown into the youtube topic. Secondly, it's not going to stem all of the new stories, and it'll both create a lot of work for the mods and piss off anyone has actually started their thread with the hopes of a decent discussion, only to find it locked in a few minutes.
