I'd be up for that. Although I think we need to work on a better name Although I thought you could only have 3 on a team? I'm probably wrong but I thought from reading the achievement list it mentioned 3 people? It might be more though online so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

There's an achievement for getting a Team Freeskate session with 6 people, so we can get at least 6 in one session.

Ah well 6 is better than 3, still a pretty small number though I guess.

1) Don't think so.

2) Yes! The graphics creator is on the official site right now.

3) Don't know. But there's a few PS3 players in this topic so I'm sure one of them can help you.

This game might make me do the unthinkable and make me hold off buying Red Dead Redemption for a little while. Really looking forward to this. I'm determined to like this more than the first Skate (not that it was a bad game, it was just that I was crap at it )

That'll be me. I'm an advent skate player but...I didn't buy Skate2 because I wasn't entirely convinced by the demo. I've played with a couple people from the forum, but mostly I love to freeskate and make vids. I'm willing to join a GTAF team but it'll take a lil bit before I'm online.

 

Gonna have to add a few tracks to my Skate playlist. The music on the game is perfect but I like to add my own lil flavor and it helps me skate better.

Never thought of that.

It would probably be possible, all though nothing can replace the authentic equivalent.

 

Mind you, if it's like some games that have a specific pre-order code, everyone would have it in a matter of hours of release anyway (if they wanted). Either way it's free, so for me there's nothing to lose.

Just got the game this morning and am pretty far into it, havent tried online yet, but Im flying through the objectives like crazy.

 

Some of them are mad difficult.

Won't be getting in the uk until release on the 14th. You playing on hardcore or normal? If it's normal then I wonder if Ill complete the game if some of the challenges are a pain in the ass.

I'll probably be picking this up tomorrow. Tried to get it today, but there wan't anywhere within walking distance that had it.

I figured I'd play on normal first, and some objectives are so rediculous, even on normal, I couldn't imagine doing them on hardcore.

 

I did do some free skating in hardcore and it is sweet, but I dont think I'll be using it for some of those objectives, luckily you can switch difficulties whenever.

 

Pressing down on the d-pad now makes pedestrians scatter.

That's a nice touch with the moving pedestrians. Always used to piss me off how they'd get in the way of an objective or something with a time limit. What kind of sh*t do they throw at you that are really hard? Obviously spoiler it just encase someone else doesn't want to know I suppose.

According to Amazon, I won't get it until the 17th.

I'm waiting for my Xbox to return from Xbox Repair though; but it has already been shipped back to me.

Says dispatching soon for me, so I presume by tonight it will be dispatched since it says 13-19th delivery. Won't honestly mind if it comes on Friday since I'm busy tomorrow. Edit - Amazon have dispatched the game, so it will hopefully be here tomorrow. Although considering I've gotten zero post this week, not even junk mail I don't know if our postman is on strike or if he's just stolen all of it!

I'm not too bothered either, but it's always nice to have a game early.

However, it says now that my copy is now dispatched and should arrive 13th May, which is a day before release (in the EU). I doubt I'll get it tomorrow, and if I did, I wouldn't have a 360 to play it on. Unless my 360 comes tomorrow. Which is actually likely.

 

Anyway, I can't wait to play the game.

Mine says dispatched, and 99% of the time when it says that, the next day it will come through my door. So I'm hoping it will, although I only get my post at about 1pm I miss getting it at like 8/9am.

Just thought I'd bump this and see who else got the game today? I got mine earlier this afternoon and I've been playing for a couple of hours. Had to stop because those hall of meat challenges were annoying me and hurting my fingers after awhile. All in all, I'm really enjoying the game not really done a lot though. Got hours of gameplay left. So glad I got it to keep my occupied until RDR. I have to say however I'm not liking the customization part much. Mainly because of the way they've set it out with the clothing. You know like last time you could pick what brand you wanted (although from what I remember Skate 2 wasn't like that) I kind of like picking through the brands and not always going through every single part. I also feel like they stiffed us (or me) on the trouser department. Not a lot of shorts, or even jeans to pick from to be honest.
