Like where you had to land in the multiple places, took me quite awhile to get the furthest away ones. I've yet to try and get someone in judo kick move. gamesguru Posted April 16, 2010 Share Posted April 16, 2010 Yeah, I must admit you get a rather bland area, which they should have thought about before hand, as they even said themselves the University District (which somehow is heavily populated by grandmothers) is quite 'open-space'. I like the improvements/inclusions in the Replay Editor, glad I don't have to go to Edit Clip just to move the camera. I also love the Free-Camera. I caught a soda can rolling across those coloured marble squares, would've made a nice 'artsy' intro, but I had no access to LIVE at the time . I noticed also, that you can 'tight-rope' walk on small things like rails and the edge of benches. You can even balance on pillars, which is rather helpful. The majority of skaters push with their right leg, just like the majority of people use their right hand. I don't mind goofy being the "default" stance as much as I mind that EVERYTHING IN THE TRICK BOOK IS REVERSED EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE A REGULAR SKATER. 860 Posted April 18, 2010 Share Posted April 18, 2010 I downloaded the demo yesterday and gave it a try. Pretty cool but not really my thing. I did find a funny glitch though. You can walk up the clock tower and walk vertically on the wall for a second. Really confuces people online. Takes a couple of tries but it's quite easy. In Skate 1, you could jump a miiiiiiiiiile in the air. In Skate 2, it was much lower but the tricks were still cool, and cooler than the first one actually. But in the 3rd, Skate 3, you don't seem to jump that high. It's...too realistic. Is that possible? Whoever made the first skate game, probably Tony Hawk, where ollie-ing over 2 buses is a douche.
