Liberty City, a thralling Metropolis of corruption and greed, the home to some of the world's most notorious gangsters, and a place where people are fooled into believing the American Dream is real. At the head of the storm is the Triads. Usually they were within the boundaries of their terrotory. In 2009, they took over the city (Chinatown Wars). They are currently split into a civil war between the Red Dragon Triads led by Huang Lee in Algonquin and the Scorpion Triads whose leader is currently unknown, but they are based in Broker/Dukes. Second up, we have the five mafia families, the Pavanos, the Ancelottis, the Gambettis, the Messinas, and out in Alderney is Phil Bell and his crew. The McReary Mob used to be a big faction in Liberty City, but they fell apart when Derrick was found dead in an alleyway of an overdose, Francis was shot and killed by an unknown assalant, and Gerald McReary was locked up. Just recently, by court mandate, Packie McReary was forced into a 180 day rehab program for coke and alcohol dependency. After the McReary Mob went down, Gordon Sargent left Bohan and went out to Alderney where he does work for Phil Bell. Michael Keane who was thought to have died in a bank robbery a year ago joined him months later to much of Gordon's suprise. And so here it begins. Mission One coming today. Hold your horses, hes only just started it. I think the idea is good, but it definately needs improving, you need to go into more depth with the outline of the story, maybe add more info on the five families, more on the triads etc. maybe give info on characters you wish to add, weapons, vehicles etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Triads in Chinatown Wars are divided into three sets and are all named after their leader (AKA Joaming Triad, Lee Triad and Ming Triad). The names "Red Dragon" and "Scorpion" Triads seems awfully cliche. 3. It is unclear whether Huang Lee actually took over as leader of the Triads after Hsin's death. 4. I find it pretty hard that anybody would survive such a barrage of bullets (unless, of course, he just respawned at the nearest hospital six hours later ). And Niko hardly leaves crime, because after the story you can do many side missions and do whatever you want which usually involves crime. It is made clear in four that there are FIVE families. Ray says it, Gravelli says it, Peg says it. Since no one else but you looked up the Lupisella Family on GTAWIKI no one has ever heard of them. Have you even considered that I made some parts of this up because they weren't specified in the offical games? I mean, why post if you just intend to be a jerk, and you weren't even correct about it? Maybe I should have posted this in Writers Discussion, they respect creativeaty. Lupisella Family article at Grand Theft Wiki. Pegorino even mentions himself that he is trying to become a member of The Commission which is headed by the Five Families: Gambettis, Pavanos, Ancelottis, Messinas and Lupisellas. Just because "most people" haven't heard of them doesn't mean they don't exist. Rockstar went to the trouble of creating them for a reason. Have you even considered that I made some parts of this up because they weren't specified in the offical games? The thing is, they were. I mean, why post if you just intend to be a jerk, and you weren't even correct about it? It's called criticism. I should of known from your previous posts in Writer's Discussion that you can't take that very well though. Maybe I should have posted this in Writers Discussion, they respect creativeaty. If oyur lucky enough to get the mob guys when you go to Gang disturbance you sometimes here them shout We're the Lupisellas you p***k. Dont quote me on that though as Im not sure. There are Five Families plus the Pegorinos. News articles, LCPD database, mission scripts... Huang doesn't take over the city. He is assumed to take over the Triads, but even that isn't confirmed.
