Saggy
I bought a 40MM fan to put on my NB heatsink beacuse it's been running very hot, but I never noticed before that my board appears to have two heat-sinks connected by a heat-pipe. As it turns out there's no way I can mount it on "2", but I'm wondering how I will do it on "1" as well. I was thinking about just fastening the screws into the fins of the sink but I don't want to damage anything. Anyone have any clever ideas of how to mount a fan to something like that? The other thing I'm wondering is if anyone knows much about putting fans on a NB sink. It's been running really hot so I just figured I ought to put some kind of cooler on it, but I'm not sure if it needs to be on 1 or 2. 1 certainly looks more like a heatsink that would seat a fan, and given its vertical position and heatpipe, wouldn't I be cooling 2 as well anyway?
