Slamman
Surprised no one posted this story! I know a few snake lovers and owners, and I myself ... was one. This is mildly bizarre and disturbing... Use caution when viewing this;

Slamman
PARDON me, then, Crunk. You did not inform me of this. All Apologies. I don't mean to make light of the death, I'd seen the news headline but was not aware if it was fatal. In the story, you hear them say it's not known if the snake is alive. However, most attacks, they put the animal down
SaintJimmy
I think he's trying to get across that not all news headlines deserve an individual topic for themselves...but, I found this to be pretty depressing. Whoever is dumb enough to leave a snake like that near a 2 year old is a complete deadsh*t. Unless I'm unaware of some different circumstances...the owner is still a deadsh*t. You kind've get a bit more emotional about toddler/baby deaths or something as soon as you have a baby enter into the family - I have had one enter recently and hearing about these headlines kind of makes you feel more for it than usual. Slamman
The 911 call there, you can hear him break down with grief. Sometimes there is just shock. I watch a lot of real crime TV that is on USA TV as reality shows here, just the other night, a daughter killed her step father, supposedly, though the jury was out for 3 days before convicting her. It's sad to see these things pretty much daily. And with regard to Dog maulings and the like, It's typically the same scenario over and over. Same breed dog, with owners who have no respect for what can go wrong! My friend has a pet python in fact, feeds it live critters (mice) while I fed mine dead ones, they don't really care if it's dead meat they swallow
Voodoo
Chill out Jimbo, I always hit GTAF first for all my world news! I saw this on MSNBC yesterday and felt sick. Mostly because people like that exist in this world. How can you not put a lock on your 8 FOOT CONSTRICTOR'S cage when there is a 2 yr old living in the house? Seriously now, what the f*ck is up with Florida?
Mand'alor
I love the Google advert that kept popping up for Snake Cages in that video. But yeah, it's pretty tragic when you think about it. The poor parents must be going through hell. @Crunk: Stop the "cool" act.
Chunk
@Crunk: Stop the "cool" act. I apologize. SaintJimmy pretty much summed up what I meant, I just don't think every new story needs a topic. While this story was more tragic than the others that Slamman's posted, I just don't see the need for every piece of news to be posted. On the upside I got a new nickname out of it. 860
sad. i too wonder why he didnt put a lock on the cage.. also: Crunk you heartless bastard i hope you get strangled by a snake. what do you think happends when your Ma hears about this?
JayM
That's tragic. I think they should maybe think about banning these animals as pets due to the amount of deaths they've caused, just like with certain breeds of dogs like pitbull's although granted that problem was more serious. Creed Bratton
Imma call you Crunk too, I decided. Initially it wasn't planned Seems to me like you got yourself a snese of humor. NICE Anyway, I wonder what would PETA say about stabbing the snake. Fascists!
Seachmall
Crunk is a great new nickname, well worth this topic. I didn't watch the video because I really don't want to hear about a child being strangled by a snake. Maybe when I get the lube out I'll give it a once over. FYI that was a joke, I'll watch it later but my headphones don't seem to be working at the moment and I'm in the sitting/TV room.
Mainland Marauder
I think they should maybe think about banning these animals That crossed my mind too when I pulled this topic up but it had nothing to do with dogs and it was in an entirely different context.
