trickstar34
This may sound kind of newbiish but I forgot whether or not you have to switch mains before you run SA or if it will work if you have SA running and you switch mains while its running to load a save game between main's, so do I have to re-start SA or not? Dutchy3010
Why don't you test it? I believe changing main.scm's needs a restart... MPACK and CLEO don't. DYOM - Create, play, share!
trickstar34
Yea just checking, I'm not actually changing main's right now, but I did earlier and wanted to know without having to restart my CPU if it doesn't work.
Deji
Yea just checking, I'm not actually changing main's right now, but I did earlier and wanted to know without having to restart my CPU if it doesn't work. Depends how you do it. If you use sanny builder to compile and copy the main, you can start a new game to use it. If you're copying it using explorer, you'll have to end san andreas and start it up again.

I was using explorer, so I could do v1 script SnP requests, and this question doesn't belong in SA forums, it belongs here, so I asked here. Because usually, the script.img has to match the main.scm completely and the script.img cannot be replaced while the game is running (although if you manage to force it, it may work). I'm also starting to get confused by your question, though. Are you editing the main.scm yourself? Or are you downloading someone elses mod? Or do you want to keep switching between different copies of a main.scm? MPACK works nicely
trickstar34
Different copies, but I may eventually with my own though, because I am working on a TC later this week.
