HANI-KINS
I'm thinking of buying a new phone wholesale, from this website that's based in China. I'm a bit sceptical, but I also don't want to pay £200+ when I now know that I don't actually need to. Have any of you had any wholesale shopping experiences? Were they good? Bad? I'd really appreciate as many "second opinions" on this as possible..
Breaking Bohan
That sounds like a bad idea to me. But good luck anyway!
Star-Lord
I would first check the website out and find out how good their reviews are. RIPOFFReport Best bet is to do some research before spending your hard earn money.

I've been messaging the guy who I'd be getting it off. The website is fairly similar to eBay. It has feedback with a percentage rating. He also has badges, like "Power Seller" and stuff. But then I'm thinking that maybe all the positive feedback he has was generated by him, or people he knows, just to make him look good? >_< I'm so pessimistic. It's awful. Breaking Bohan
It seems like a good idea to be skeptical - it seems a bit sketchy. Isn't it better to pay a little more than have your identity stolen When are you going to buy that duck?
HANI-KINS
When are you going to buy that duck? I lost it someone bid higher than I could go. Whoever won him won't appreciate him as much as I could have though.. But too keep on topic. The website uses Paypal, and I know for a fact that Paypal are quite particular about who they associate themselves with. I just can't help but think that this website is more or less the same as eBay. And infact, I've ordered things from China before, and they've been fine! Maybe because I'd be paying like £60 for a £200 phone, it seems a bit too good to be true. But that's the thing. It IS wholesale. These prices are designed for retailers and enable them to make a profit
DemonKing
Yeah you would've have to be pretty damn naive to order a phone off a online website based in China and not expect it to be a power ranger when it arrives. Hell I bought a Handheld PC in China off the the street and that never worked.
Face McDougal
I used to sell pipes and all kinds of marijuana paraphenelia at a flea market... I'd get it all wholesale of a site called SuperJoint or something... but yeah, 200 dollar minimum on orders. Mark-ups were fat, I made good money. Star-Lord
Well I figure I bump this because today i found out a friend of mine bought a HDTV off the street and when he came home to turn it on it didn't work? FYI he bought it wholesale, dirt cheap it's one of these He said he paid $275.00 for it. Anyways, to make the story short he wasn't able to get no picture, no power, dead as a door stop. So I told him let's go find the person who sold it to him and let's get the money back, no dice, the person took off and took his sidewalk stand with him. So we go back to his house and we continue to mess with the TV until he decides to take it apart and guess what? Theirs nothing inside just dirt and newspapers with some other broken appliances a clock, a iron and some other crap. We even found the manual INSIDE THE TV. I was laughing for about an hour he was cursing up a storm throwing punches at me. I said that's what happens when you buy off the streets. I'm pretty sure that bastard is living it up as we speak after all it's Fourth Of July Weekend, he went out again to find this person. That's some f*ck up sh*t... only in America. Slamman
I was assuming Sams Club, etc. Do this already. Mills Fleetfarm, Petter's Warehouse? Ok, scratch Petter's Warehouse. I used to shop there. The guy {Tom Petters} was convicted of a Ponzi scheme as well
