kuro-neko
Cadburys are by far better than Galaxy. Galaxy is so smooth, I can barely bite through a dairy milk if it has been kept in a fridge.

Panz
I think the real question is which kind of chocolate is the best? White, milk, or dark? I used to be a dark-only fan, but now I can't stand the stuff unless it's on pretzels or something. Milk chocolate all the way. White is alright on occasion. Dove chocolate is the best. It's either that or Godiva.

greebo-man
Gonna get me some boost bars. I remember, they had the sh*ttest slogan on the side once - "charged with glucose"... The most pretentious way of saying 'it's got sugar in' ever. You may as well call life 'charged with oxygen'. f*ckers. tasty sh*t though, caramel and buiscuity sh*t, plus this crazy centre thats just something else. greebo-man
charged with glucose That actually sounds A: Gross and B: ridculously un-healthy! It did actually look rather appealing, combined with a snazzy yellow and blue wrapper, and alluring font that made you feel like a man once you took your first bite. Unhealthy? yeah, certainly. poopskin
i don't get a whole lotta chocolate (overweight, trying to slim down. my trainer runs triathlons, and she's gonna try to get me doing that), but when i do, there is nothing better than a carmel-filled Cadbury bar. CryptReaperDorian
White chocolate is being brought up a lot, but does anybody on here actually know that white chocolate is not chocolate at all? While they aren't chocolate bars, I just love Ferrero Rocher. Too bad they are so light that they don't last long and they are over-priced. Sadly, this box probably cost like $4. Lethal Nizzle
Mars Delights.. haven't picked one up in an age. I love Yorkie bars, Galaxy Caramels and the Twisted Creme Egg bars, easily one of the best inventions in a while.

I love Ferrero Rocher!!! I love it! The fact that it is overpriced makes it more difficult to obtain and enjoy, this, for some reason, makes it seem much more precious and delicious. Anyway, do not eat too many, they get sort of heavy after two pieces!! Stuck in Tokyo now leaves me with few chocolate options, J-people do not really enjoy super sweet candy bars and stuff. Best chocolate ever I used to eat in Paris, all the chocolate, even the cheap grocery store brand chocolate bars, were delicious! Also the chocolate Sinterklaus letters from Holland, mmm! Qumulys
Ok, since its all about chocolate I shall tell thee of a tale. I actually used to work in a cadbury's factory. Yes, it was fun, YES we were actually allowed to eat chocolate from the production line, we were told you'd be sick of chocolate after a week, but I worked there for a year, and most of my meals were chocolate. There is nothing quite like a picnic bar fresh from the line.... Anyhoo, I digress. I mostly worked in chocolate panning, which was coating peanuts etc, with chocolate, a highly skilled art form believe it or not, to produce top quality takes a lot of time and practice, sometimes you would end up with a mixing barrel (pretty much a food grade concrete mixer type thing) full of sultana's and chocolate, all clumped together in a 40kg mess..... Anyways, one night I had to work on the Cherry Ripe line. The most boring job I've ever done, it consists of 4 ppl, watching a conveyer belt with a light under it, with a stream of real cherries coming done the line. The idea is, that we need to find any pips, or stalks and pick them out, which is all done by hand. So, I had the last position in line, prettty much all the cherries had been hand squeezed by then, so like you got one pip per hour maybe. Incredidbly boring... But I once squished open a cerry which didn't quite look right, and a mess of maggots came wiggling out... I tried to pick them out, but the little f*ckers were too slippy, and the belt moves quite quickly. So off they went on their little journey to the cooking room, to be mixed with a little coconut and coated in chocolate for your eating pleasure. Moral of the storey, avoid cherry ripes. I could also tell you about the practice they use of re-melting down seconds and spilt chocolate, even chocolate cruchie bits swept of the floor, are re-melted down which gets remixed into the large chocolate vats. Mind you, knowing all this, I still ate chocolate there everyday, except those f*cken cherry ripes...... Edited July 10, 2009 by Qumulys
