CryptReaperDorian Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Does anybody know how to do that thing where you can glitch into the airport building thing? I've came across two people who done it. I believe what you do is run up that sloped wall thing and jump. The thing about this is that while inside you are invincible from fire from the outside, but you can shoot and kill people on the outside easily. Also, does anybody else find this very annoying? I usually can take getting killed in FM, but when somebody does this it is annoying as hell. Is there an actual name for this glitch or YouTube videos about it? SuperJude™ Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Put simply, there are 3 main areas on the map where you can get into a chopper and glitch under the map. First and hardest is the ESB or Empire State Building glitch, which involves flying in at a specific point, can be annoying. Second is the Firefly Island glitch. Across from the Ferris Wheel, there is a little race track. You can crash a chopper through the NorthEast corner of that track and glitch under. Finally, and easiest of most, is the Airport/Fuel tank glitch which involves crashing through the map on the far South end of the Airport. Once under the map, you can then fly up and into enterable buildings, which include most buildings at the Airport. Getting inside the main terminal, the one the OP is describing, is simply running up the slope, jumping once while holding run and quickly tapping jump again. Sometimes this works right off, sometimes it takes a while. If somebody else is doing it, just avoid the terminal and after you've watched the video provided (also, check youtube for the other glitches I mentioned) just grab a chopper, glitch under the map, have fun. The one in Algonquin near the hospital in downtown the one with the statue holding a Triton thingy. Fly the heli to the left side and you should go through. SuperJude™ Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Nice! I've randomly crashed into a couple spots and NEARLY glitched through, making me think there are definitely more. I kept trying to crash into and around the Dealbreaker garage in Alderny, though without success. Dorian - spend time in FM with some people from the forums, you'll learn about a whole HOST of glitches, some epic and some just kind of goofy. It's only annoying when you don't know how to glitch under map. Once you learn it, via the video and great discriptions given' to you, you will find it some what amusing to do the glitch yourself, and kill the glitcher. SuperJude™ Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 (edited) When this glitch first came out, I used to enjoy trying to glitch in while somebody was already inside shooting at me, I got to be pretty fast at getting inside and cleaning out the glitcher. Then it just faded. Anymore, the second I notice a blip a little too far inside the building, I just ignore them. Not even worth the effort to torture them with the chopper. Actually, as somebody was just doing this a couple days ago, what I had fun with was standing just outside of their bullet range. Easy to figure, just walk towards them and note where on the ground their bullets hit. Stand directly behind that (and hope they don't have a sniper!), giggle knowing they are likely to waste all their ammo. ETA: Also, when doing this, make certain to jump up and down. BuzzBeerCompany Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 If possible, if you are playing FM with FF ON and someone is not only in building but keeps killing you as you try to enter, try to KICK them from the game. Small glitch note: This one time at band camp............ One time at the airport I was dropping grenades at the helicopter pads from runway to the gate, the last pad spawned 2 helicopters, as I passed and dropped a grenade, I headed along the inside road next to the building I fell through the map and was stuck frozen is a blue area. Then i get hate mail calling me a n00b because i got shot from the guy inside a wall. Damn glitchers!
