Fresh Install. Won't Even Run.

Hi everyone.

 

Just bought a brand new retail version of GTA IV. After going through the installation and activation process, when I try to run the game, nothing. No error message, no gui, nothing.

 

Checking the system processes though, LaunchGTAIV.exe is running, as well as a MATROCHKA_launcher.exe.

 

Any thoughts how I can play this game?

First off, you specs are quite low for GTAIV. Secondly, make soure you have .net framework properly installed. There is a guide in the FAQ.

 

Did the game prompt you for the online release date check? When you launch the game, does R* social club "application" start? Have you updated the game and xlive? Some links for ya
