I Need A Little Help On Saving

Well, when you save the game from the PDA while on the street (via: System), does it act as a quicksave or a shortcut save to your nearest hideout? And when can you NOT use that type of saving? It is during a mission and while you are wanted?

It will save your location at the nearest safehouse. And I'm pretty sure that you can't save during the missions.

So if you are just about to be busted, you can save, restart the DS then spawn at your nearest safehouse?

That is correct. It's a bit "cheaty". You can make a drug deal, and if you get a two-star because of it, then you can just save and restart. Voila, you have the drugs and no wanted level. However, it fits the platform, because you don't wanna have to quickly rush to a safehouse when you're getting off the bus.
