T800
Hi, the ak47 and m4 use the same sound file in bank_137\sound_004.wav, 005 or 006 maybe pitch or something else, it is possible to change it? example: I want ak47 to use bank_137\sound_019, m4 to use bank_137\sound_030.. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks

supermortalhuman
Using SAAT (you might already since you know the banks, unless you discovered names in some other way) you can extract the sounds of the weapons, rename whichever like you would just rename a car and it's TXD to replace soming other than the 'intended' replacement by the author, compile/build the sound pack, and you're done. Steps would be to grab Alcy's SAAT front end and extract the library that has the banks you want to edit (this might take a few tries depending on what you're looking for - do this where you have a lot of room, and delete whatever you extract when you're dione working with it/upon discovery it's not the one you were looking for). Name whatever file (in this case copy of a file) you want to replace as the one you want to replace and delete the original. It all works just like img editing in Spark, really, except for the bracketed stuff mentioned. When through editing sounds, click save, and SAAT will be told to put everything back (really, I think it's just a new compiling->replace because you don't have to respect sound length, and it needs every file to rebuild, so don't delete them if you don't edit them, they need to be there to build it back up along side your edits) I believe you may not even have to extract the entire banks, but you might as well. Maybe do some more edits and turn it into a whole sound mod etc.
