CAn u just select the upgrade button or i will have to format the whole OS ?? And Then will i have to Reinstall GTa 4 ? And other softwares ? Ansswer me quick please ! Chris_Waddle Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 I'm pretty sure that if you try to upgrade from 32bit to 64bit it won't let you. It would be far better anyway to do a clean install. If you do try the upgrade option you will need to uninstall pretty much all of your drivers first, as the 64bit system will need its own drivers. I would imagine that if you just try upgrading you'll get driver conflict issues and it would probably end up more trouble than its worth. Use something like Drive Snapshot or Acronis True Image to do a complete image of your current Vista hard disk before so if you want to go back, you won't need to reinstall everything from scratch.
