The times of walking in with $20 and leaving 10 hours later full of Johnnie Walker Blue $100 notes are over. But gambling is fun, tonight is the biggest Australian lotto draws in history -$90 million-, that's pretty small compared to some european draws, but that's a sh*tload of cash. I bought a $50 ticket knowing full well it's a $50 I will most likely never see again. But anyway, share you gambling stories here, or even times when you just gotten lucky finding cash or whatever around. edit - I realise I use the word "but" alot, f*ck you. I also never find anything, so I guess I have too much of a sh*tty luck to actually take a risk on anything that depends on luck. Cheating friends out of their money doesn't count, right? Only thing that freaks me out is if somebody doesn't win it, then the next news headline will be "Holy crazy sh*tload of cash even bigger than 90mil is up for grabs!" 1ManArmy Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Well, I have gambled a few dollars with my friends before but only on special occasions like maybe a birthday party or some celebration, but nothing big. Most was $10. I will never gamble big though, as i've heard stories of people losing their lives because of gambling and my dad even has a friend who practically screwed he's family's life up because of gambling. I play poker online but I win money in freerolls and use that to play cash games. Of course when you're play 1c/2c game online (aka "no fold 'em hold 'em") nobody has ever heard of pot odds or true odds so they play like sh*t. This really drags out the winning process, not to mention they eventually luck-out. C*nts. I've never played BJ for cash, when I was 13/14 I learned to count cards but haven't done it in a while. I'd love to give it a go and try it in a casino but I'm not sure if I could spend 12+ hours sitting at a table. It'd be fun to try it out though.
