DJRopi
I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but I have come across two pretty unusual glitches which are making the game very difficult to play. The first glitch is the drunk haze after you receive from attending a bar with a friend. For some reason my game is randomly giving me this haze and I have no idea what is triggering the problem. The camera has all the same side effects of being drunk, but Nico does not stumble nor is he incapable of drawing a weapon or stealing a car. The camera will shake violently for a while, then slowly start to steady and almost go back to normal, but then the process repeats and the camera again starts to shake violently. Either Nico is having relapses or i'm missing something. The Second glitch occurs whenever I enter into a car. The moment i steal a car or enter any vehicle it begins to breath the black smoke and it is reduced to very minor health. The car will also begin to "drive itself". It will accelerate without me hitting any keys and will continue to do so even after I have exited the vehicle. This was entertaining for a while but now I have to reverse all the time to counteract the constant acceleration. Both of these glitches are sporadic and I can never pinpoint when they happen. Sometimes the drunk haze will appear first, others times the ghost cars will rear their ugly face. The glitches do not seem to happen every load, but they are happening frequently enough that it is hindering gameplay quite substantially. One recurring theme is that both glitches seem to happen within the same bugged load, not just one or the other. If any one has any notes on this on any possible fixes it would be greatly appreciated.
OverTheBelow
These side effects are anti-piracy measures created by R*. I suggest you buy the real game or don't use a no cd crack.
DJRopi
Hmmm I did buy the game, its a legit version. I do remember trying to download a possible crack for something to allow me to better alter the graphics capabilites a little while ago, but i'm pretty sure i've reinstalled the game since. If it were an anti-piracy measure wouldn't it happen every game load, and not randomly?
Standart
If you have the real game - bring a picture of it in here with your nick on a paper next to it. Then if you have proof of original game, people will help you, because that wont be problem because of pirated game.

DJRopi
=/ if its absolutely necessary to get assistance i'll post a picture, but I just recently bought the game for $30 at best buy. Before the most recent patch my computer was incapable of playing the game past 30 minutes because there was a memory leak or some other issue beyond my control. However, with patch 1.0.4 i've been able to maintain a pretty steady framerate. I could understand this being an anti-piracy measure, makes sense, but i do possess a legitimate copy and the errors only started to appear during the cutscene for the "luck of the irish" mission. I had been able to play the game completely fine until then, but for some reason the cutscene to the mission was the first time i experienced the random drunk haze. supermortalhuman
It's designed to kick in at key points in the game to ruin the enjoyment if you didn't support its production. Not accusing you of anything, but it's a feature coded to expose people and have them squirm in their communities.

Lollercoaster
Post three pictures, one with you holding the cover in one hand, and a paper with your nick written on it in the other hand. On the second picture, you should also hold the paper with your nick and this time, hold a CD from the game in your hand. On the third picture, hold your CD in one hand, and your dick in your other hand. If you do this I will believe you.

DJRopi
Ha the pirate thing was quite entertaining. I think the problem has been fixed by using the social club launcher instead of using a direct desktop link to the game. I can understand in this age of anti-piracy that people can be a bit skeptical when it comes to computer games, but I must say i've never encountered people so stringent in attaining viable proof that I went out to a store and was overcharged retail prices. To be quite honest if I had the knowledge to pirate this game wouldn't I also have the ability to bypass a problem such as this? Thank you to whoever posted the tip in using social club, I have no more problems. In the future the people on these forums should perhaps try to solve a problem rather than questioning the liability of their software.
CharmingCharlie
All the information we have on this issue is here :- http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...entry1058955706 Now whether you bought it legitimately or not there isn't much we can do to help and since the situation is "unclear" I think the safest thing to do is to lock the topic as the spam is already starting.
