You are currently known as Alex Vasiliev, a specialist sent from Russia to do the dirty work of the Russian mafia in Liberty City. You will stalk your targets anywhere they go, whether it be the slums of broker, the industrial complexes of Alderney, or the glamorous mansions, offices, clubs and hotels of Algonquin (or sometimes on planes, boats, churches, or even in prison). Sometimes you will have to kidnap, interrogate, infiltrate organizations and facilities, gain the trust of your mark, or any other number of unsavory tactics, but none of that is relevent. You are paid to fulfill contracts to the t, and doing so is all that matters.

These are not simple, "hits". You will be required to think, and sometimes use more than your firearm, and other times not use it at all. You are here to do more than simply end life; you are here to do exactly as you are told. Fail in that respect, and you will find living to be a very difficult prospect in the land of opportunity.

What is important to you will determine how you affect the affairs of Liberty City; is it the money, or your loyalties? Theres is no room for morals in the contemporary criminal underworld. Should you challenge that fact, you can find yourself making powerful enemies, and perhaps even a few valuable friends. Should you not, you can find yourself rubbing shoulders with the most ruthless employers in the city; but don't make the mistake of thinking you're indisposable.

Setting

The story takes place in Liberty City, four years following the events of Grand Theft Auto IV. Things have changed, and the landscape of the city has been transformed. The state and its instruments are even more corrupt than in previous years, and organized crime has flourished in the rotton core of the city. As both the criminal and political elements of Liberty City vie with one another for power, the city is slowly becoming a hotspot of civil unrest and poverty.

Characters

Trey Stewart, formerly known as, "Playboy X," is now a wealthy businessman who controls most of Algonquin, and who is running for city mayor. Although making promises to build schools and fund social programs for the teenagers sucked into the gang culture of Liberty City, he is at the same time sponsored by big names whose interests contradict such promises. Deepening the hipocrisy, Trey Stewart keeps his own private army of street thugs, composed mainly of those very same kids, who oversee his, "business interests," in the criminal underbelly of the city on his behalf.

Francis McReary is now police commissioner of Liberty City. Corrupt to the core, he is almost as involved in the shady dealings of criminal underworld as a devout mobster. Using his authority and a number of complicit subordinates, Francis McReary maneuvers to have have his finger in as many extra-legal pies as possible. Its common knowledge on the streets that he takes a sizeable cut from the drug trade alone for himself.

Leonid Petrov is the new head of the Russian mafia, which controls Broker. Sent over from the old country to get their affairs in order, following the deaths of Mikhail Faustin and Dimitri Rascalov, he has since lead the organization to a position prominence, rivaling even that of the Liberty City families.

Patrick McReary, or, "Packie," is the second-in-command of the Irish Mob in Dukes. Conducting most of the family business, he still obeys his older brother Gerald, but has in recent years begun the resent his jailed sibling, and has ambitions to lead the mob himself. Although on the surface he seems like the jovial soul he was four years before, the deaths of two of his siblings have since caused a dark change in his personality.

Gerald McReary is the leader of the Irish Mob, who maintains a level of control from the Alderney State Correctional Facility. Detecting the ambitions of his younger brother, he has become wary and dangerous tensions have risen between them, creation factions within the Irish Mob.

...and many other new and familiar faces, each with their own part to play in the story, and each with their own vendettas and interests.

The Protagonist

You are a nameless immigrant, freshly arrived in Broker from the old country. Using your particular set of skills, you will have to make a name for yourself, and survive on the streets of Liberty City. You have nothing but a penchant for killing, the, "borrowed," identity of Alex Vasiliev, and the name of your target; Alexandrov Trazinsky. Without conscience, or anything resembling a moral compass, you will venture throughout the city, you will plumb its intrigues, and you will kill anything that gets between you and your targets. As you explore what this new country has to offer, you will also descend into the depths of your own shrouded life.

Features

Stealth: Engage your enemies so as to not be detected, through the use of silenced weapons, or melee stealth kills. Use new melee combat techniques to silently kill your enemies, or merely knock them out (for a time). Sneak from the police or hide, or find means of escape through rooftops, distractions, fire escapes, backdoors, underground garages, disguises, maintenance tunnels, or the brand new sewer network. No more omniscient police forces!

Neutralize the Target: Use any method you wish; plant a bomb under their bed, their car, poison their food, kick in the door with guns blazing, take them out with a sniper from a concealed position, or go in and out without making a sound, leaving nothing but a trail blood and corpses as a sign you were ever there. Individual missions to entail unique circumstances, which will provide many potential methods of neutralizing your mark.

New Weapons:

  • Silenced Pistol
  • Silenced Combat Pistol
  • Silenced Submachine Gun
  • Silenced Sniper Rifle
  • Tranquilizer Pistol
New Missions: Enter a new, gritty storyline, delving into the shadowy depths of Liberty City and whatever opportunities it has to offer. Take on a plethora of contracts and simple jobs, doing anything from kidnapping, serving as muscle, escorting, collecting legal bounties, to performing intricate hits and assassinations. Do your job well, and people in higher places with problems which need fixing will begin to notice you.

Gather Intel: Study your mark, and devise the most efficient and perhaps discreet method of dispatching him. This will be essential for Headhunter missions, where you might be given nothing more than a name. Use the in-game internet or new phonebook directory system to gather info, tap their phone, extract information from their family and friends, or use them as bait to lure a target out into a vulnerable position. Anything and everything goes, so long as the job is done.

Explore New Places: Experience Liberty City as you never have before. Ascend office buildings, or roam the halls of five star hotels. Peruse new nightclubs and stores. With a revamped map, complete with many more hollowed out structures waiting to be discovered, Liberty City has never been more engrossing or compelling. See the city as it is now, in the year 2012, transformed since the years of Niko Bellic.

No Mercy, No Second Chances: Coming up against heat is no simple matter. They will now hound you, and they will do everything in their power to kill you if they cannot arrest you. If you die, you are dead; too bad. If you are arrested, expect to enjoy your reservation at Alderney State Correctional Facility. Theres is no more room for sloppiness.

Once you become notorious enough in Liberty City, expect to find OCOPS hunting you down just like you hunt down your targets. These are elite special ops, whose directive is to hunt down terrorists; but they'll make an exception for individuals as despicable as you.

Changing Safehouses: Operating out of one safehouse for long is not recommended. You will be required to rent out new apartments, motel or hotel rooms, or anywhere else you can find room and board. Disregard this warning, and you can find SWAT and OCOPS breaking down your door.

Weapon Upgrades: You will be able to in time find underground shops which will upgrade your weapons in any numbers of fashions. Oh, and don't worry; Alex will not toss away $5000 weapons when they run out of ammo anymore.

Weapon Storage: Have a mission in which you are required to be bearing no arms? No problem. Leave them in a car or in your safehouse.

Will you purge Liberty City of the disease which eats it alive, or will you put it out of its misery?

The Horror Is Alive

Sounds like a good concept, but more of a DLC pack than a full-blown game.

Thanks, yeah thats what its supposed to be. I just edited the op and added a bunch of other stuff I forgot about last night. Now it should be much more descriptive and give the reader a much better idea of the dlc I'm trying to convey.
