hollo09
Ive Done 2/3 Of The Courses At The Flying School, So Far I Just Cant Do The Last One, The One Where You Have To Fly Through The Corona's. The Plane Is So Hard To Drive, Because Its Not Powerful And Has Crap Stearing, It Just Falls To The Ground, And Also I Cant Do Any Other Mission, They Are All Done, No More Missions I Can Do Until Flying School Is Completed
Blizzard14
Well, if you have the PC version, you can request a "Save n Play", or SnP. Upload your save file here and post it here so someone can resume your game and do the flight school for you. Your Save File will be in your Documents>GTA San Andreas User Files foldier. Your save file name will be "GTASAsf#.b Replace the '#' with 1-8, depending in which slot you saved in. I highly recommend you read the FAQ. lil weasel
You don't give much about which test you have. They All require flying a plane through a corona Learning to fly – time trials. lil weasel
On what system: PC, or console?. PC... I recommend a USB GamePad (12 button minimum) if you have the PC. It makes playing the game much more enjoyable, as the game is designed for it. All tests are timed. You must complete them in a specified time for the 100% (gold) levels. Use light touches on the control. Let the Plane fly itself as much as posible. Bank as opposed to rudder unless you have to make a sharp turn. Remember to raise the landing gear as you take off, and especially remember to lower the landing gear just before landing. Take too long getting it up and plane may stall (loose power), Too late when landing and yu also crash. You don't have to fly throught the center of the cornona. Just clip the circle should be good enough. To beat the time you have to keep engine power on all the time except when actually putting down on the runway. NOTE: You can steal a plane like the DoDo or Shamel from the Los Santos airport by jumping the Guard House Roof. Then you can practice flying with a more stable air craft before you start doing the required Missions at the Verdant Field. cacarla
@ps2_master: Yes, that's not the last test. But, please don't post something like what you did in SnP topics unless you're actually helping it. @Hollo89: Instead of having such a theory-type discussion, just upload your savefile and your mission request will be completed in no time. If you're playing on PC, just do what Blizzard said. Thanks.

If you're playing on PC, just do what Blizzard said. Thanks. Just exactly what is wrong with a person trying to get tips to do the missions themselves? I don't think it helps to be told you must have someone else do it for you or don't post here...
Steve Crook
circling im up to, the 3rd one Just practice. It's hard, but it is possible. If it was easy then the game would be boring and wouldn't be a challenge. Doing these flying school tests will give you skills that will be very useful on missions later in the game If you think that "Circle the airstrip" is hard then you'll probably find that the next one, "Circle the airstrip and land" is a lot harder - but that's possible as well. DarrinPA
Yeah, people who come here and ask for help shouldn't feel forced into just posting their saved game and having somebody else complete it. This is a skill he wants to learn, a skill that will be needed later in the game also. So, here's my advice - if you're crashing a lot, that means you're stalling the plane by trying to get too high up too quickly. You should just be reaching the correct height at the first corona of most the missions and not much sooner or you'll stall. Also, try bringing up the landing gear as soon as possible. Once the wheel's are off the ground you can pull the landing gear up which will allow you to get more height quicker without stalling. Many of the missions have the starting plane lined up with the first corona so don't worry about turning right away if it's not needed. Good luck, and if you need visual help, go on youtube and look for a person who has already completed it. It may help you see something that you need to be doing, or something that you're doing incorrectly.
Steve Crook
And although the instructions say that you should turn using the rudder, you can turn faster by banking. Experiment. Find out what all the controls do. Find out how to: Climb and descend Accelerate and decelerate Turn left and right using the rudder (the control on the tail) Turn left and right by banking (leaning the plane into a turn) Combining a banking turn with climbing or descending to turn accurately Climbing so fast and steeply that you stall the plane. Once you've done it a few times you'll get the feel for when it's about to happen and will be able to avoid it by not climbing so steeply. Also how to take off & land - and as DarrinPA says, get that landing gear up as soon as you've left the ground and don't lower it again until you're very close to landing Steve
cacarla
I'm just trying to help the Helpers and Requesters to get the job done soon. This is Mission Help and it's absolutely fine if the guys want to have some interaction about completing the missions. But, how exactly will you help just by words which don't make much sense? That's what i'm asking about. If you guys want to have a interactive session about this "Flying school" mission, it's fine for me.
