.2D
Sorry if theres already a place for this. Felt like making something . Tbh, I think PC will always be best for CoD and other shooters, easier to use, talk and more mods/maps for it. .
Enjoii
Although I rarely play them on PC anymore, I did start out playing them there and due to the larger amount of variety that you can gain, I probably prefer the PC overall. However, with the release of CoD4 I started playing on the 360 and have since moved onto that near completely, it's more sociable than the PC version in my opinion, and a lot easier to just jump into a game with some mates. FullMetal
The console version (of both 4 and World at War) felt terribly wrong. It might be because I hate lobby systems (in other words: the systems they made up for multiplayer play on the consoles). PC will always be the platform of choice to play COD on in my opinion... they had better kept the franchise PC and Xbox360/PS3 separate. Though I play World at War reguraly on the consoles at my friend's house. Especially zombies is a heck load of fun (since the map pack hasn't been released yet for the PC). Bates_GTA
I find it somehow more official on console, all the mods & maps are hard to keep up with on PC, atleast on console it's all a fair game & evens, there seems more disadvantages on PC for people if you don't own some mods & know some servers. I dunno, Just the way i see it.
.2D
Yes, on the pc mods and new maps are hard to keep up to date with, when i find mods I like (like BTD) I save it on xfire and try to keep up to date with it on the website. I think i'll get MW2 for console and PC, just because i've never has a shooter on console before, I only buy 3rd person games like GTA for consoles. james227uk
I favour consoles (360). However I'm a big fan of CoD WaW on PC because of the mods, such as custom zombie maps.
.2D
Yeah, zombie mods are awesome. I used to be good friends with some BTD admins, infact I still speak to 2 of them on xfire
Fnorg
You're basically asking for a lock here, but whutevs, my two cents: I'm going with PC, because I have one that can outdo the consoles graphically, and I can't aim for sh*t with those two analog sticks. The mouse is way more accurate, IMO, and I have a really bad one. I've never understood why consoles don't have dedicated server, wouldn't it be better if they had stable servers, rather than some New Zealander hosting a server for his German buddies? I have no idea how consoles work on that front, so I may be completely wrong.
buzbegone
PC. The game itself looks fantastic in comparison with the console counterparts.
RATEDR307
I have it for 360 because that's all I could afford, but if I had a powerful PC I would choose that over a console any day. It's just much easier to aim with a mouse, and you don't have to deal with 12 year olds screaming into your ear.
Blizzard14
PC. Makes it more fun with a lot of options ranging from modding, to DL'ing custom maps, and the ability to be in an organized clan and meet new friends is just amazing! Besides, FPS on Consoles is just a SIN!
asimov
PC's have the advantage of better server selection and mods. People seem to go on about the controls, with the mouse being better, but after getting used to the PS3 controls I don't really see a difference. gta 4 gamer
Consoles are better for me..The reason being is that I would rather relax infront of a 52 inch TV with a comfortable chair instead of staring at a tiny screen. I'm not into mods and that stuff anyway.

I'm not into mods and that stuff anyway. You do realize that we've put 14-inch 800x600 screen behind us? 24-inch screens are the new 20. A 24" will whoop any HDTV's resolution ass. My monitor here is bigger than the one in my bedroom, and the resolution is better than the 40" HD-ready TV in the living room. How far away from the TV do you sit? SaintJimmy
I've played ALOT of COD4 on 360 in my time (Not as much as those in the COD topics around here...but still) and I found playing it on a PC was an awesome experience. It seemed alot easier to play, and I think my fingers are my accustomed to a mouse+keyboard as opposed to a controller - but that may be a personal thing. Possibly the fact that I played it on a beast PC with beautiful frame rates influenced my opinion but it was still great. It felt easier to get kills, too. Same here, CoD: 4 felt like a different game on the PC, far better. However, playing two player Split Screen on a console is pretty fun at times. oldage: Try PC Gaming for a day and you'll be converted. FullMetal
Modern Warfare 2 shouldn't be that difficult to run. Look at how it was with Modern Warfare and World at War. I expect the same thing to happen with Modern Warfare 2. Please, no fanboy crap or 'LULZ TREYFAIL IS TEH LOS0RZ'. Elanman, true splitscreen is fun... if it was SUPPORTED. You can only play with splitscreen vs eachother or only 2 people co-op (World at War that is). Where is the 2/3/4 splitscreen Zombies/Co-Op online? Where is the 2/3/4 splitscreen online? THAT is what makes a good console game in my opinion and a extremely enjoyable console game. I only play World at War when my mate is doing something else and others don't feel like playing. Sometimes one of my mates joins in if we 'chill' and we play CO-OP. But most of the times if we are going to game with all 3/4 we play Halo. One reason: splitscreen online rapage . I don't understand how they ignore that. If it's not going to be in Modern Warfare 2 I'll be advising my friends NOT to buy it for the Xbox (and if they dumb down the game even more, I won't be buying it for PC eventhough I'm a 'loyal' COD gamer). Ænemy
PC. No matchmaking and servers handle more players. 'Nuff said. I don't see much graphic difference from Modern Warfare 2 and the original. So I'm sure those who can run Modern Warfare on their computer will be able to run MW2 as well.
ptiko
No matchmaking and servers handle more players. Thats another reason why i play TF2 on PC. 16 v 16 is better than 8v8 How many players does it have on cod4 for PC? Whats the max?
FullMetal
I've seen 64 man servers but it's far from enjoyable on those servers (campers/spawnrape/...). For CoD4 24 is the most enjoyable in my opinion... for World at War it's 24-50 (if you have huge maps you can go up to the '50'). And hey, TF2 for PC has these awesome updates... why bother playing this brilliant PC game on a console .

Slamman
It looks HELLA impressive on Xbox360 alone, and I like game controllers, and never was happy with mouse and keyboard gaming. I've been using APPLES for years, and I know how to game on keyboards with that in mind. I don't know how you guys do it, I love home console controllers so I adapt them to my PC and there's not a lot to give up between them, however, I want to know about the online, is it totally FREE on PC? FullMetal
Playing online splitscreen? Well so you can play with your mates right next to eachother on the same screen. It's more fun + will make you play the game alot more with your friends. Well, I would. And Slamman how do you mean totally free? It's PC gaming... you just buy the game for your rig, install and play. If you want to pay then go ahead, contact some server admin(s) and pay for a private slot. But apart from that, it's 'free' (you have to buy the game and pay for your internet connection, but it's not like Xboxlive where you have to pay $$$ to be able to have an account that allows you to play online). I hate it when people use controllers on a PC. Everyone their own preferences yes... but it's so unnatural in my opinion :].
