StrappedEnd
It was one cold June night and the wind was howling incredibly loudly. I was sitting in my favorite chair in front of the warm glow and heat of the fire in the fireplace. With my reading glasses on I was enjoying my night all by myself. I lived in the middle of the woods in Washington State. Severed from any signs of civilisations other than my red 1965 Ford pickup that I've had since I was sixteen. As I flipped through the pages of the thrilling crime drama I heard a loud clank upstairs. Interested in how this noise was made I quickly put down my book and my glasses and snatched my .35 caliber magnum and slowly and quietly crept up the wooden stairs of my cabin. I slowly opened the door to see a raccoon pillaging my dresser drawers ripping up everything from my under garments to my undershirts as it looked for something to eat. I aimed my gun out a nearby window and fired out a shot scareing the rabid animal off of my dresser and right towards me. I quickly aimed again this time at the raccoon and rattled out another shot. And as quickly as the shot rang out the raccoon laid dead on my bedroom floor. I carried the raccoon downstairs and tossed it away from my cabin so the carcass doesn't attract unwanted wildlife. I walked back to my cozy cabin and put my magnum away and sat down in my chair and continued to read my book in front of the golden glow of the warm fire.
