uk_john
OMG!!!!!!! THis version has given me at least a 30% fps increase and now my game looks 500% more beautiful!!!! The lighting is so realistic it's bordering on silly! Couple points though. After installing 1.4.2 and the ENB and ASILoader I got an XnetStart error, which I found was a Windows Live problem. I had to uninstall and reinstall Windows Live to fix the issue. I am also getting a Microsoft error message when ending the game, but I can live with that! Just a heads up. SCARFACE1991
Hey Guys your mod is the sh*t but i prefer the 1.4.0 version but i saw that in the 1.4.2 version the raindrops come down more freaqently when the weather is on lightning . Now my question is if I can take this feature of the 1.4.2 version and put it in the 1.4.0 version? Is there a way to do that?
Latetzki
I don't see much difference, visual or FPS changes, but thanks anyway. I still suggest Draw Distance decrease. And next time, add working FilecheckFix. This one doesn't work online.

Hamidxa
Does version 1.4.2 also contain a No DOF option, or should we just wait for 1.4.3 ?
_CP_
In version 1.4.2 is DOF - press P ingame
Hamidxa
In version 1.4.2 is DOF - press P ingame No, what I meant was, in version 1.4 You had the following choices: In version 1.4.2 however, you only have this one folder with no choices for DOF or no DOF for distant objects: Hitting "P" in GTA IV enables "Definition" as Rockstar likes to call it, which in my experience, is a screen-wide motion blur effect, that is applied to objects both near and far, it's not the same thing as DOF. The effect that you see however with true DOF however only applies to distant objects not in focus, it's NOT once again the same thing as just hitting "P" to enable Rockstar's "Definition" setting. This is all moot however if you have managed to program the P button to enable/disable DOF thus overriding the default definition binded setting, but Im not sure if that's the case here as I've yet to install 1.4.
