SoldierScar
Try to edit timecycle in EditIV and change Direct Color Multiply value to 0 for these hours. Thanks for the answer, but it doesn't work tho. I set 0 in that value to every weather at 6pm, 7pm etc..but it doesn't do anything

_CP_
Hey! We're working on new revision of VisualIV - we'll fix some certain bugs on all weathers and optimize time cycle to get some FPS boost. After PC release, wait carefully for first version of VisualV! robi29
Yeah. I finally get new computer and we can do something to VisualIV We've fixed very annoying bug, which cause oversaturated bloom at foggy weather and black clouds at night. Additionally we've made all the weather from scratch. There's new screens: (cloudy weather) http://i.imgur.com/TCsqK58.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dr7nnhJ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/HJVYHR8.jpg (drizzle weather) http://i.imgur.com/chHdURr.jpg http://i.imgur.com/hO0ktgf.jpg http://i.imgur.com/r3bCGin.jpg (extra sunny weather) http://i.imgur.com/AQmqcXy.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ov9VlGp.jpg http://i.imgur.com/U5e4sb3.jpg (sunny weather) http://i.imgur.com/WFN1AAX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/s4SyIOx.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zOsnzJZ.jpg (windy weather) http://i.imgur.com/W7HjXaT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IEcQgQi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RBDz1jL.jpg I hope you will be satisfied. I will gladly install the updated version! Any idea on the release date?

Claude_Lib
Played with the latest version, looking great. But is it just me or do LOD pop-ins really occur way more frequently? Edit: Remembered that I didn't use the "-nomemrestrict" key which I always used before. It partially fixed the problem, now I think that the cause may be that I allocated too many memory for vehicles and peds in NTA's RIL.Budgeted. Marty McFly
I've been following the progress of VisualIV although I didn't play GTA IV the last 2 years and I must admit, it's still getting better and better! Back in the old days noone would've guessed that with timecycle alone so much is possible, there's almost no ENB needed anymore if you have this. RealityIV also looked cool but it also made use of modified shaders. AndyC1992
robi29
Thanks! Sorry guys. We have some troubles with timecyc modifiers files, so we should delay a premiere to avoid some graphic bugs. We hope to release the new version within 24 hours.

TWIST_OF_HATE
Few questions: 1. This mod can be called vanilla ? Only fixes and improves original game files ? 2. Increase or decrease FPS ? 3. What version of the game better for this mod ? I have 1.0.0.4 and 1.0.7.0.
_CP_
1. I don't think so, weather files were remade from scratch, and there are improvements for traffic, depth of field etc. 2. When I tested VisualIV playing few hours without a break, FPS were a bit better than vanilla game. 3. Every version of IV is fine to use it. JoeVK
On my PC, IV and EFLC have always run smoother with VisualIV installed. Haven't tried 1.8 out yet. Getting the kids ready for school at the moment. Darn kids, always ruining dad's fun, lol.

JoeVK
Is there a recommended setting for the brightness, contrast, and saturation in the display options? You had suggested settings for those included with the previous versions, but there doesn't seem to be any for this version. I'm currently using the display settings suggested for 1.7.8b10 (the version I was using before). Unfortunately I only had about 30 minutes to play around with it today because the wife gave me a list of errands to run since I "wasn't doing anything". Sigh. Women, ruining men's fun since Eve ate the apple. Anyway, so far it looks great! I especially love the fact that I'm not driving blind on the bridges on foggy nights, and the black clouds at sunset are gone, which were the two main issues I had with the previous versions. I did notice the light adaptation. It's subtle and was easy to miss at first. I did notice it after a few minutes, and once I did, I was aware of it all the time. Lol, at first thought I was seeing things until I remembered robi posting about light adaptation. Very cool. And it's much more obvious than vanilla IV/EFLC, because I never noticed it before this. Well, I did once, with an ENB I tried a while ago, but I figured it was part of ENB and not original to IV/EFLC. And it was too strong in that ENB. This is much better. So, I'll be testing it out further shortly, and some more tomorrow. If I find any bugs, I'll be sure to post them, but it looks stellar so far! Great job!
