Indeed R*, despite a very vocal minority, rest assured your fans love this game for the PC, we at gtaforums love this game, and we very much appreciate your continued and needed support of this game.

Nice. But this patch decreased my performance very noticeably, I'm waiting for that big update biggrin.gif (maybe 1.0.4.1?)

Uhm, unlike everybody else in this thread, I see no promise of a future patch here. I hope I'm wrong and that patch 1.0.5.0 is right around the corner.

 

I understand "gold master build pressing" to mean that future retail box-versions will be sold with patch 1.0.4.0 pre-installed. Users won't have to patch their games from 1.0. I think Rockstar simply wants the games to be "aligned" so that everybody can play online with the same versions.

Exactly.

Gold master build pressing refers to a new version of the game PRESSED onto discs for retail sales, not another patch.

So 1.0.4.0 will be the same version as is released onto all the new game discs.

BUG REPORT

 

1 The Rain is not working properly, I can hear the rain, the road becomes shiny, and Niko reacts to the rain, but I cannot see any rain sad.gif

2 Texture flashing is still present, but it has reduced a lot since previous versions

3 Some shadows are still messed up, however the majority of them are now looking much better than in 1.0.3.0

 

Will test some more later, system spec in signature

lol antihacker system my assssssss! alex will get the mods work back again....he can pass every antihacking system.

Because of them mentioning of the whole alignment of games ect, im now doubting that there will be any more patches...

Ok thanks Rockstar, but I'm going to give up..

 

I just spent 6 whole weeks nonstop tweaking, reinstalling.. finetuning and spent $600 on gpu's.. own 3 copies of the game... Finally I have got it running straight and smooth for 2 whole days and then you release a patch that made me loose 15fps in-game..!!!!!????

 

I really needed to step out and scream for a moment...

 

And why do you always answer my mails with a counter question, and when I answer that I never hear of you people again?

It's an update, not a patch. It's just a preparation for a patch.
