How long did installation of this one take for you guys? Mine has been going a good 15 minutes and am wondering if it has crashed.

Mods always get disabled after installing a new patch.  Just wait for the mod authors to update their mods.

 

(edit) Has anyone else experienced a performance increase?  I'm getting an extra 4-5 fps.

lol..i got 20 fps increase....now playing all max with view distance 20 detail distance 50 biggrin.gif cars at 100 and shadows at 8...now i have 45 FPS biggrin.gif

 

EDIT: the games shaders were changed mainly...some taxis have new wheels...and the game looks quite relistic wow.gif

I second that. So is this patch a fps booster? Or is it just a placebo effect? BTW what does the description say about the patch?

Gee I've just tweaked my timecyc.dat to have real reflections on my car...

Oh well, we're gonna have 1.04 compatible mods in a few weeks (hopefully)
