1: In Crysis, there aren't 20 cars driving around you with physics enabled, and there will be always a few cars that drive like you. They avoid obstacles and pedestrians. In Crysis, the KPA just crashes into a tree to get slaughtered by you.

It happens sometimes. But not extensively. What obstacles are you talking about?Cars?By a red light cars bump into each other constanly.Let's not talk about the traffic in the bridges.Crash after crash after crash after crash.....you get my point.

2: In Crysis, a alive man doesn't have physics. If he's dead, he has. In IV, if you pull a grenade, things AND people fly away. In Crysis, things fly away nice, but people just STAND there like nothing happened. If they are dead they do fly away. If you shoot a dude in Crysis, he just stands there like nothing happened and shoots back. In IV, the dude is really getting HIT and is fnding his balance again.

In GTAIV not everyone is a trained soldier with a military bulletproof west.About the physics:Crysis was made in Germany.Search for a law that forbids developers to allow messing around with dead bodies in games.I'm sure you'll find an interesting story.

3: In Crysis, you can destroy tires of cars. YAY! In GTA, you can detroy the whole car (doors, glass, bonnets, bumpers) and your car gets deformed. Oh, they also have SUSPENSION. You know, that thing that makes you not break your back when you aren't driving over flat road. Oh, in GTA IV, cars also DO react realistic to colissions. They swing away and such. In Crysis, the cars just stop. Nothing else.

Funny.I always end up spinned out, or upside down when i crash in Crysis....hmm must be onlly in my game..

4+5: The gameplay in Crysis is NOTHING compared to GTA IV. The only things you have to do in Crysis: Shoot, use your nanosuit, shoot, kill Koreans and aliens and shoot some more. Nothing else. (Well, you DO have to travel, but what do you see when you are finding your way to the next killing point? Nothing. Only plants, plants, plants and sometimes a plane flying by. Oh, and when not on a mission you can... erm... swim... shoot trees... shoot/throw animals (crabs and chickens)... and... and.. erm... OH! COLLECT WEAPONS!

You get a large enviroment, weapons, a mission, and a free hand. You can approach your goals in many ways. That's the point of the whole game.I'm sorry that the game is not an overscripted shooter which holds your hand through the entire story. But i'm sure the scripted "Go to point A kill a dude, go to point B kill a dude" missions in GTAIV offer more entertainment.

In IV, you can play with your friends

Yeah, i like it that my cellphone get's wordraped by Dwayne's whining every three minutes. And if it's not him, it's:"HEYYY KAAZIIIN,,,,,LECC GOO BOWLINGG!!!!"...

sorf the interwebz, listen to the radio (music AND people talk, not a Korean dude talking sh*t about US ships), listen to people (and not to Koreans who say the same things over and over) and you can have fun.

What the hell do you want with a radio in Crysis?Do marines listen to Jazz while on a covert operation?

Giving money away to things. Fight with people normally. Interactive enivirnment. (Crysis = get a can of cola to throw at Koreans) Race.

Use your fists.Without strenght mode. That is called normal hand to hand fighting.

6: Dynamic weather. Weather in GTA IV is DYNAMIC. You know what DYNAMIC means? It CHANGES. C-H-A-N-G-E. There is very bright sun, there is hell of a lot rain/storm and everything between. The weather in Crysis is either sun, either rain or ICE. I haven't seen anything else and i've played both versions multiple times. (And wind also affects helis)

Sunny,(few levels) stormy(carrier, VTOL level), cloudy(tank mission), it rains(few other levels), it snows(After the Core level). It would have been great to have dynamic weather, but who cares. It's a tropical Island where the Sun....mostly....shines?

I am still saying Crysis is a P.O.S unoptimised crap game and I CAN run it on all high settings. There is just NOTHING in the game to keep anyone interested. As I have said Crysis has at best 7 hours of gameplay GTA 4 has well over 30 hours of gameplay. In GTA 4 you can spend hours just exploring the city, I am still playing it 6 months later and still finding fresh new things I have never seen before. On the other hand Crysis was jungle and then more jungle and then more jungle and just when you thought you could possibly not see any more f*cking jungle ........ you got more jungle.

The fact that Crytek have effectively DUMPED Cry Engine and are now working on Cry Engine 2 shows what a pile of crap it was. I think it is an absolute insult too GTA 4 to compare it to something as weak and pitiful game play wise as Crysis. At the end of the day GTA 4 may be unoptimised but then I can do something about that, I can always upgrade my PC to play GTA 4 better. However Crysis will always be a boring pile of crap and no matter how much I upgrade my PC it will still remain a boring pile of crap.

you are just addicted, no offense intended

They don't. At least, here. On the Xbox i get low framerates and that causes cars to crash, also on PC (try GTA SA with 5 fps and go to the highway, also loads of crashes, and when you have a decent framerate, nothing!

So what. They could have moved that programming to another place, and the physics aren't even fixed in Warhead, what isn't made in Germany. (Yes, i know games get censored there).

Yes, that is what i meant about unrealistic physics.

There are a few ways that get boring. Or you rush into the place or you use your stealh option, or you snipe a few dudes. And the thing of 'Go to point b and take the checkpoint" is almost the same, if not the same as in IV. There are a few ways, but they always lead to one location.

lol. xD Well. It's fun to hear a afro-american be an emo. (not being racist, if you feel so: sorry.)

I never tried that, but i don't think koreans will fight back. tounge.gif

You are right. But it would have been nice if you actually saw the weather change.

Actually, i get quite decent FPS on bridges, there is not much going on there so i get 25-35FPS sometimes. It just annoys me that i can't get through without having to manuever through a crash site. The crashes mostly occur when someone tries to shift lanes.

So what. They could have moved that programming to another place, and the physics aren't even fixed in Warhead, what isn't made in Germany. (Yes, i know games get censored there).

I don't know about the costs so io'll skip this.

Yes, that is what i meant about unrealistic physics.

Why is spinning out or landing upside down after a harder crash count as unrealistic physics? It's easier to spin out in GTAIV.And you can quite easily get a roll with the car.

Because that is where your mission objective is located?

No offence taken.LOL, i like Dwayne's character the most(i am lying, i love that irish bastard)but sometimes he really get's on my nerves.

Soldiers usually carry weapons.Soldiers usually shoot tresspassers on sight.Shoot to kill. tounge.gif

Yes.As i said it would have been nice.Honestly, i don't know why didn't they incorporate this feature. They easily have the technology for it.Probably not enough time.

I would like to agree with CharmingCharlie. My PC is utter crap: Intel C2D, GeForce 8600GT and 2GB RAM on Windows XP. It's now suffering from BSOD, but it's more than 2 years old, so it's understandable. It played Halo 2 barely on Low, and ran smooth for Crysis on everything medium, but, the resolution isn't 1440x900 and the sound is pure crap, keeps 'clipping' away from me. I've only clocked about 1-2 hours on it.

GTA IV, suprisingly, ran on Medium and rather decent settings on 1440x900. Sure, it lags sometimes, but on single-player it's mostly fine. Only problem is texture pop-ins and pop-outs, but what more do I ask for? It looks leaps and bounds better than the Xbox 360 version I have too. The PC version, Xbox 360 version and TLAD combined already clocked me a few hundred hours to begin with! And that's excluding completing the achievements (still have one more to go for both PC and Xbox 360), exploring the city, modding the PC version, checking out the news websites, watch the TV, and listen to the talk radio in its entirety!

Crysis, well, don't talk about it. It's crap and probably won't ever run on my machine. GTA IV actually ran better, so which is more optimized, huh?
