there something abit bugged about the wanted level system, it clears if after being grey for no reason  cryani.gif

please fix this...

So true. Even with 6 stars, if you get gray stars, then your wanted level gets cleared catspider.gif No stars = no fun with police...

 

Also as a suggestion, any chance of making firefighter missions enabled with the firetruck? I kinda liked those in previous GTA games. Again, very stable your mod.

Latest version uploaded... sorry for the delay, i was kinda busy with work. This is more of a cleaned up and optimized version, i'm planning to add more variety to the missions this weekend.

Now i have a new mod to add to my hippie ones.

 

****It would be cool to have a guy on the map to go to and will initiate a city wide survival game where niko is chased by multiple enemies on foot and in cars until he dies and the higher the lasting time the more money he receives.

I see something like that kinda of already in it when you have to protect the vip for a time period.

 

Once again thank you so much.

 

******I use the ingame trainer and teleport and nothing crashes. Sometimes the mercenaries or the person I have to escort just stands there , but I haven't tried the update.

 

*******Fav moment - Enemies were chasing me and also the police and both sides began a big gun fight with each other allowing me to get away. I love the battles between my enemies and the police.

 

Can I upload the mod to rapidshare/megaupload for you to post I have premium accounts.

Cool , love the mod. It made me start playing GTAIV again after about two months of not playing. On the next release could you add more attacking enemies ? Going to try the new version now.

Man I tested your new version. Good idea adding the menu and using only 1 NPC.

I'd really appreciate if you change the cruise control key. It's pretty annoying when I try to do a wheelie on a bike. Maybe use B or N.

I have a question, the wanted level is removed now when your stars are grey and you CROUCH? If you stand in an alley with gray stars, the level stays right?

hey there, glad you enjoyed it. and yeah, the stars are only removed if you crouch 30 seconds after the stars are greyed out (unseen by the cops), because some people like this feature, and some people don't: so if you want the police to keep chasing you, then keep running and the stars will be maintained.

I agree about the bike thing, if you try and wheelie you fly off for some reason. Again, epic mod, makes GTA fun again, which rockstar failed at. I love the kill 1/8 people missions, very ingenious. Have you got anymore plans for the future? I'd love to see more stuff and if you keep adding to it i'll make a site for the mod if you want one.

 

Anyway, 9/10 so far, still a little buggy but the best gta mod to date.

great mod, just a suggestion, is it possible to have the pedestrians providing the jobs stay in one place instead of having them all over the places (for example, having them stay right outside the safe house)? I believe it reduces the chance of game crashing

 

 

Or, can you implement an option to enable and disable this mod in game? Sometimes i find the peds providing the jobs spawn randomly on roads, bridges etc... causing traffic jam.

 

It'll be very much appreciated if you can add an option to enable and disable this brilliant mod in game

Hi still enjoying the mod.

 

I would like it too if the NPC spawned closer to niko.

 

I got a few ideals/suggestions (some I mentioned already , but put it here to be organized :

 

1. a challenge where you have to assassinate a NPC that is in a boat or flying around the city.

 

2. Multiple assassination - You have to assassinate up to five NPC's maybe doing different things like driving , walking, flying, in a police car. No time limit.

 

3. Boat/helicopter races - works just like car racing.

 

4. Higher kill counter - I just like seeing how many npc I have killed

 

5. More little jacob drug missions.

 

6. Police missions - you get no warning stars when doing this. Weakening the perps gets you more money as the police can take them in , killing the perps gets you less money.

 

7. Drug Mule/Body Transport - have to drive a car with drugs in it to a destination in another city while on 6 stars. Or transport a body and too much damage to the car reveals the body like the mission for elizabeth while a car follows trying to expose the body.

 

8. City Survival (warriors mode) - Every merc , thug , hitman is after niko to collect a large bounty on his head (player makes the bet) if niko lasts the countdown clock he gets the bounty. (not like riot mode)

 

9. More car thefts and car pick ups with surprise outcomes

 

10. Bombs away - Niko has to plant a bomb on a car that is in motion. Niko has to follow npc waiting til he stops at a red light or because of traffic and plant the bomb and explode it

 

11. Pimp Mission - Once initiated by the main NPC , Niko has to go up to regular peds (men/women) on the street and try to convert them to prostitutes (using money or pulling gun out on them) after he has recruited a new prostitute he gets a call where to drop the prostitute off at . From there is drives the prostitute to the location and wait for a trick to ask for her (either by walking away with her or getting into the car ) niko has to follow the trick & prostitute to make sure that things does not turn violent. Random things happen like a gang set up , or trick tries to kill prostitute or a regular transaction. Niko gets the money after completing this.

 

 

Not sure any of these can be done , but seeing these would not only make the game more fun , but make me jizz in my pants too. i do not know anything about code , but I have multiple premium file host accounts that you are welcome to use if you need to.

 

Thanks once again for this mod . It seems like the possibilities are high with it.

Those ideas sound great. Also, I don't know if it's possible or not, i'd like to suggest:

1. Truck stealing missions, like "Truck Hustle". I really enjoyed that mission.

2. Assassination mission, with the crosshair blip and all the drama (when you have to kill/let live Ivan or Cherise) I saw a mod that tried to do the assassination thing, but it didn't work.

3. Gang wars. Instead of "kill the gang members", HELP the gang members to kill others or kill the police.

I do not know when you plan to update this mod (which I eagerly await) , but I have another ideal.

(I'm playing with version 1.0.4, if it matters)

 

I also have the crash problem when I go to the hospital, but only after a (failed? Kidnap?) mission. It crashes right when the hospital starts fading in. Maybe it's a problem with the placing of a new quest giver, or cleaning up the old quest or something like that?

 

There is another small problem. I was doing a kidnapping mission, and I beat up the target enough so he would get in my car. Screen fades to black, and he's in my car. So far so good. Then this other guy appears and throws a molotov cocktail at me. No problem, part of the quest, right?

 

Here's the problem. The molotov set the car with the hostage in it on fire. This caused the hostage to burn as well, forcing him to step out of the car. Since he's no longer in the car, I get the 'you have to beat him up' message again. But he's also still burning, causing him to lose health, so in 2 seconds the screen fades to black and he's back in the car again. The car is still burning, so the hostage starts burning again, steps out... etc. Screen keeps fading to black every few seconds until the car explodes or the hostage dies.

 

I don't know if anything can be done about this. Do you have any control over the possible weapons that the guy that shows up to help (I guess) the hostage can have? Because it might be a good idea to exclude molotov cocktails from that list.

 

Also is it normal that you get multiple targets in an assassination mission? I just thought it was odd that there happened to be 5 mob leaders in the area... tounge.gif

 

I think that turning on slow-mo just as you die (screen goes grey) crashes the game when the hospital loads.

 

Other than that, this mod is awesome.

The others are decoys. If you hit the wrong mob boss the real target is alerted and begins to flee.

 

I would like to see more variety to the assassination missions , kind of like the assassination missions in the game.

 

I hope this awesome mod is still going , so many great mods are dead now as many of the creators haven't been seen in a while.

Okay. Yeah that might be a problem. I do not get multiple clients to protect when accepting the mission. Do you have only the newest side quest asi in your folder. If you have multiple copies or an older version present as well that might be the problem.

I only have the newest.

 

I had another crash today. First I did a steal the item quest, and without saving (except for autosave) a little later after getting rid of the cops i wanted to do a fight club quest too. I selected it, my phone ringed, and then the game crashed.

 

(I had a club out while accepting this mission.)

 

And cruise control is set to the same button as controlling your balance while you're on a motor cycle, which isn't very handy. I even had a weird problem with my motorcycle bouncing very high when I tried to do a wheelie with a freeway motor I think, though I'm not 100% sure that it's the cruise control from this mod causing it.

 

Another crash after successfully finishing a protect the client (got 3 clients) mission, and dying afterwards. Every time this happened it was at the hospital that you go to if you die near your second safehouse. It's the one with two ambulances in front and some police men and cars to the right. I haven't done missions in other areas yet so I don't know if it's related to this hospital.

I think my crashes may in fact be related to that specific hospital. This time things went the exact way they went last time, with the difference that I ended up at a different hospital, and this time the game didn't crash!

 

Could it have anything to do with the fact that a quest giver tends to spawn right in front of you at that (the crash causing) hospital?

 

I didn't have the taxi ride crash myself.

I think the problem is definitely the trainer interfering with this mod

 

it happened once and when i deleted the trainer it worked better

Hi,

It's a very good mod...everything's nice but i would like to cutoff the cruise control...mainly because it's (on a 360 pad) the same button as the klaxon...it's mostly annoying when you're trippin with a police car and activating siren...

If there's a solution that would be cool.

first my impression was like "oh another boring mission giving mod" but when i decided to check this out, i was very impressed, good work there... but its true about the bugs/glitches, after i took mission to get prisoner out of Van and lose cops, my whole game world disappeared, i saw only cars, peds, and objects, no ground. and when i got tired of running from cops (cuz it never ended) i typed code to see if map appears again if i finish the mission, so i typed "lose wanted level" and game just freezed and after the second it just disappeared from monitor screen, with no errors, just a small *tin* sound. i really hope youre gonna add more features and fix bugs, cause to be honest im really impressed and excited about your work! good bye!
