YEAH! IT'S TEXANS FOOTBALL SEASON! We are gonna kick the Colt's ass....

Nah, this is going to be a hard game. I don't see either team dominating, I can easily see us winning. While also easily seeing us losing, it's one of those games.

 

The thing is, like our last 3 games against them we were leading going into the fourth quarter. In our last game we were leading 17-0 at one point, but then we stunk it up. The reason we did is we lacked maturity, and experience in close games. I think we have gained some maturity and we did gain a little experience in close games in the Pats game of last year.

 

We had the talent last year to beat the colts but we didn't have the maturity, and now I think we might have the maturity so hopefully we can beat them.

 

I just wanna start off this season 4-0.....of course that's any fans dream.

It's a great place for football fans to go to, I love the Texans one and many of the other ones have great fans!

Texans have my respect as always, it just sucks like getting beat by your little brother or something. To think, people actually look down on the AFC south. Anyways...hard loss...even harder defeat.

the Hawks/Niners game was awesome (seeing as im a Seahawks fan )....

 

great defense shutting down the Singletary coached Niners. those first three drives were rough for the Hawks D but made the plays when necissary and we humbled Singeltary and his arrogant ass (or at least thats how he came across those first three drives).

Well, probably going to be another sh*t year for the Raiders. Granted, the Titans were shaping to be division favourites, but a 38-13 defeat is not something you hope for when you start any season. Offensively, we were hopeless; Campbell didn't have that bad of a game and threw more than Young, but as usual, another team's pressure was simply too great for us to handle. Sigh. Season nine without play-offs, here we come...

Bruce Gradkowski! He's exactly the player the Raiders need, to help provide our spark in our offence. Without him, as I said previously about Jason Campbell, we're useless. Thankfully Cable finally came to his senses and put Bruce on; he was fantastic last year before he was sidelined, and today's proof just shows that he has to start for us... provided he doesn't injure his knee, again.

On the home front. I really want people to stop with the Vick over Kolb talk. Let's see - Kolb plays half a game and the majority of his starts were 1st and 15 or 1st and 20 thanks to stupid penalties. Oh oh oh and lets not forget he played against a team that is picked to go to the bowl. Vick barely squeaks out a win against a team that has 2wins over the past 2 years and all of the sudden he is 'the man'. What the f*ck people.

Obviously I'll never become a massive fan in the way I am with United and how you guys across the pond are with your NFL teams but I decided to start following the Bills after seeing a documentary on the early 90s Marv Levy team (which inspired me to start a franchise with them on Madden 10). But after that Packers result I dunno why I bothered Not gonna be a good season...

 

Anywho, enjoyed my first two weeks of following your sport. I now have a good sport to watch on a Sunday night once I've finished watching all the highlights of the Premier League

Today Michael Vick was named the starter of the Philadelphia Eagles. Its a little shocking but it makes sense, Michael Vick gives the Eagles a better chance to win. I'm personally excited. But what happens to Kolb? Do the Eagles trade or keep him?

Well Andy Reid never though it'll come down to this. For the past two weeks Vick has been playing great and thats why he decided to start him for the rest of season. It was extremely shocking considering this entire offseason everybody talked about how promising Kolb looks.

 

I agree with the decision. I wonder what'll happen to Kevin. Apparently the Browns called the Eagles for a potential trade and Andy didnt say if Kolb will still be on the team after Oct 13

Lol I know I sound a bit stupid but I kinda like how the Boys season is going so far. Sure 0 for 2 but honestly I like this because it's a change. Maybe they can get their heads on right if the pressure is on early in the season. I'm eager to see what changes they've made after losing two games that could have been won. Also losing to Mcnabb on an even more despised rival team should give them that kick in the ass they need.

it would cost the new owner of the Rams too much money to move out of St Louis. Their locked into a contract to play in Edward Jones Dome til 2014 and breaking the contract could cost Stan Kronke millions upon millions to get out of it. Jacksonville and Buffalo are closer to moving to LA than any other team but doing so would seriously f*ck up the conferences and divisions which would require the league to do another restructuring but i suppose the LA "Bills" could go to the AFC South and Indy could go to the AFC North and Baltimore to AFC East... but if its the LA Jags you could move the Jags to the NFC West and move St Louis to the AFC South...
