That was actually quite funny to watch! I also liked the episode where the NFL players beat the NBA players at their own game. Terrell Owens is a wicked basketball player.

McNabb played on the same high school basketball team as Antoine Walker and he also played basketball for Syracuse as a reserve guard. So, yeah, dude can ball.

 

I've also heard about Owens playing ball at Rucker Park before. I heard he was dunking left and right. Even though he's getting up there in age, he's still a hell of an athlete. Goes to show you how well some of these athletes take care of themselves.

He's been playing in the NFL since the mid-90s. Remember 1996? Well, that was his rookie year.

 

Surprised Cincy picked him up, since they had passed on him before. I don't think this makes them much more of a threat though; T.O.'s ability on the field is only surpassed by his voracious appetite for locker room drama; but everyone knows that. Should be a media circus for the Bengals this season.

Boy Ol' boy was Eagles Flight Night a ton of fun. Stinks Desean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, and Asante Samuel couldn't play because of minor injuries. Just watching them stand around made me feel bad. Mike Kafka threw a pretty 50 yard pass to Perry and David Akers nailed a 60 yard FG. Pretty much the most exciting thing that happened tonight, but it was fun nonetheless. Good thing Stewart Bradley didn't get injured.

I didn't make it to Flight Night this year, but the press photos I saw looked great.

 

Thanks to my ass of a father selling off our season tickets back in the 80s because he moved out of state I'm back on the 20yr waiting list. I'm about 5yrs in so I hope something happens before I die. Fortunately, I have a few connections and get to pick a few games to attend each season. You going to any games this year? Let me know and I'll hook up the beers and crab fries at Chickie and Pete's.

 

I haven't been to Lehigh(in years) either, but I am liking the Kolb reports so far.

I was happy when I finally got it all worked out and I got to see my 3rd place trophy from last year.

 

I still suggest that some sort of Madden11(x360) GTAF league should form. The one Madden league I am in is super fun.

 

If people don't want to form a GTAF Madden league, but want to join a Madden league I might be able to open a few spots in the league I am a part of.

 

Football talk:

I love the bit from Eagles camp where the dude with the sideline pass was asked to take off his Mcnabb Redskins jersey. Sure, that might be funny enough, but we actually have a rule that says spectators can't wear other team's jerseys while watching practice. It's a good thing Lehigh is timid. If the regular weekend game goers were there I'm sure the dude would have lost the Mcnabb jersey and would have had to drive home shirtless and beer covered.

After Welker went down, in front of the patriot killer (Bernard Pollard), Julian Edelman came in and did pretty much exactly what Wes Welker does.

I'm pretty sure you would change your tone once you saw what you were up against . Any time I have seen violence it was always started by a 'visitor'. We don't throw beer at people - it's too expensive. Usually what happens is the 'visitor' can't take the hours of taunting and they end up freakin out.

Last nights game against Jacksonville was entertaining. Kolb looked more then solid - even with our patch together oline. Even Vick looked half decent minus a few bad turnovers.
