Chapter 1: Introductions

Part 2

After hearing the screams Mateo and I quickly ran through the dirty dust filled streets to Abraham's aid. We turn the corner to see Abraham on the ground holding his left leg with left hand and holding a pistol in the right. The Desert Eagle was pointed right at a dead terrorist in a doorway. Mateo quickly rushed to Abrahams aid as I checked the nearby houses for enemies.

We knew Abrahams wound would be leathal unless he got to a good trauma hospital. Seeing as i had the radio I called in a medical air pick up. We all sat quietly in the street just expecting a bunch of insurgents to rush out and bombard us.

" Don't worry Abe, we'll get you home" I said calmy as I was comforting him. We all knew we were extreamly vulnerable in our possition but there was no where to pull Abraham to safety.

Finally the Huey chopper arived and landed in a flat area back around the block. Mateo and I pick Abraham up, me carrying his upper body and Mateo carrying Abe's legs. As Mateo and I got closer to the copper the pilot said over the whrilling of the rotars, "Help is here boys! Help is here!"

We hurried to the chopper and slid Abraham in on his back and we jumped up. Mateo and I knew we were gonna get chewed out by Commander Azzan Harb for not accompanying Gunnery Seargeant Abraham Zama. Even though we will be yelled at my group will go back to either Afghanistan or go to the nuclear ridden streets of Tehran, Iran.

The front page still needs a bit updating; .Rafto should be removed since he's using his The Guru account now. Some cell rows are highlighted since you're using [th][/th] tags instead of

. Also, my name is spelled with a lowercase r.

--THE STORY SO FAR (PROLOGUE)--

Seoul was a shining, bright metropolis. From up above the streets and rows of neon lights, a newcomer would possibly miss the unique sensation that surrounded the city's air. One would think of this city as another clean capital, with its usual handful of millionaires and swarms of vagrants. From above, one would possibly compare this city to any city in North America. Indeed, back in 2008 when Seoul began its strategic development plan, that was the goal -- to upgrade the city to the high standards that American cities continually set.

And it had been going well. By 2009, the amount of skyscrapers in the South Korean capital had doubled. By 2011, the population had increased by hundreds of thousands, and Seoul began attracting the world's attention. The media lauded the city's rapid improvement, praising its officials for pulling off such a feat. One newspaper even went as far as calling Seoul "the best Korean capital".

That was probably how it all started. Everything turned sour in a matter of months. Work on the city's infrastructure slowed, and streets were left uncleaned and unattended to. The citizens began getting the feeling that the government had something larger to worry about. And they were right. In the summer of 2012, the first attacks came. North Korea, insanely jealous of the South Koreans taking the lead, and influenced by the separatist Russian leader Zharov, began provoking an all-out war that would finally settle the North-South tension. The attacks started out small, with car bombings and stabbing sprees. But soon, buildings began tumbling, not only in Seoul, but the other major cities as well.

Soon, the Korean ceasefire line became the most tension-filled spot on Earth. For weeks in September, Korean troops of both nations would stand in their respective sides, stone-faced and menacing, staring at the soldiers opposite them. If one soldier flinched, another, on the other side of the line, would do the same. No one was taking any chances. While this was happening, there was correspondence between Seoul and Pyongyang, as South Korean president Chan Yoon struggled to come to terms with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il. While the North wanted to unify the two Koreas, the South was having none of it.

Then one day, at the ceasefire line, the fuse popped. A North Korean soldier accidentally fired a bullet from his rifle. The bullet harmlessly flew into the ground, but it triggered response from the South Korean opposite him. Over the next few minutes, flurries of gunfire engulfed all the soldiers on scene. The battle killed all soldiers but one, a lone soldier, of the South Korean Army, who emerged from the corpse-ridden battlefield unscathed.

CHAPTER 2 - The start of World War III

General Jeremy flew over Taiwan in one of NATO's stealth aircrafts. Jeremy had got some information from his intel that Zo Lang had called a meeting with some other wealthy politicians and businesspeople from around the world. At the meeting he would try to convince the others to join his boycott and export taxations. Jeremy landed the aircraft near an industrial site where the meeting was meant to take place. A big mountain was located near the site. The air in Taiwan was hot and sticky compared to China. Jeremy started to get sweaty as he sneaked around the industrial site.

He could hear the sound of a helicopter closing in. He looked up and noticed that a black helicopter of Russian model landed at a helipad nearby. He looked around and tried to find a way inside the bunker where the meeting was taking place. He quickly found a broken ventilation drum. He looked down and tried to estimate how long the fall would be if he tried to jump down. He couldn't see anything down there though, everything was just dark. He knew he had to take the chance. He jumped and to his big surprise he hit the ground pretty quick. He could hear men talking to each other in the room next to this one. He carefully looked through a hole in the wall. Five different people were sitting around a round table. One of them was Zo Lang, no surprise there. Another man was Vandor Malarov, a wealthy Russian businessman, owner of Malarov-Eltsin Military Industries. The third man was a North Korean communist leader named Dung-Sun Kyung. The fat man next to him was Pedro Carlito, a corrupt politician from Brazil. It looked like Zo Lang had gathered some real hardcore guys and Jeremy was honestly surprised. However, he became even more surprised when he saw who the last man was. He was a Yugoslavian warlord named Dragan Milanovic. Jeremy knew Dragan, during the Bosnian war he led a private army which killed hundreds of innocent people. Jeremy and his troops were sent there to capture Dragan, but failed. Now it seemed like he had joined Zo Lang and the others. Jeremy tried to listen to the conversation going on in the room.

"So we take them all with violence. If we hit the NATO troops hard they will have to agree on our taxation terms. Dragan, is your army ready to attack NATO's base here in Taiwan?" Jeremy could hear Zo Lang ask.

"We take them with surprise during the dawn. They will have no chance to fight back." Dragan explained.

"Then what? They won't agree on our terms just because we hit them once." Vandor Malarov said.

"Then we hit them again, and again, and again. We won't stop until they agree." Zo Lang said.

"We are businessmen and politicians; we want to come out of this alive." The Korean communist leader, Dung-Sun Kyung said.

"That's why I'm here, let me take care of the action." Dragan said and all five left the table.

Jeremy started to get worried, they were going to attack NATO's base here on Taiwan. He had to warn them quick. He crawled back up into the hole he jumped down in. Not even an hour left before the sun was rising. He didn't have time to get back to the aircraft, it was too far away. He looked around and noticed a couple of motorbikes parked nearby. He started to run for them. While running he heard a loud sound, it sounded like a gunshot. He turned around while running. To his big surprise he saw Dragan Milanovic about 20 meters behind him. Dragan kept shooting at Jeremy while chasing him. Jeremy got on a bike, so did Dragan. Jeremy escaped the industrial site with Dragan right behind. The bike was fast and Jeremy was a skilled driver, even though he didn't manage to shake Dragan. Jeremy headed up on the big mountain located near the industrial site. The way was very rocky and he felt how it became harder and harder to keep control over the bike. The sound of the bike engine was loud, but he could still hear Dragan shooting from behind. Jeremy got an idea. He pulled the brakes a bit and managed to get right behind Dragan. He pulled up his gun and started to shoot at the war lord. One shot hit the bike. Dragan fell of and Jeremy could see in his rear-view mirror that the bike exploded after hitting a big rock. Jeremy headed back to see if Dragan had survived. Back at the crash site he noticed that Dragan was gone. No sign of his body. That could only mean one thing. He wasn't dead yet.

Field Marshal Banks, John Pinto and a British NATO general named Roy Gallagher were sitting inside to conference room inside NATO's Taiwan base, discussing strategies. President Clarkwood had let John Pinto stay to bring out the President's wish to the NATO troops. While discussing they could hear the sound of a motorbike closing in. Banks looked out the window and saw General Jeremy Stewart riding on the bike. After entering the base Jeremy rushed up to the conference room to tell them what he heard.

Field Marshal Banks, John Pinto sir, General Gallagher, I have something to tell you. I spied on Zo Lang and he has sided with a couple of powerful businesspeople from Russia, North Korea and Brazil and they have together formed some kind of alliance. They are also in league with Serbian war lord Dragan Milanovic. Dragan is bringing his private army here, they are going to attack us during the dawn." General Jeremy explained.

"Then we don't have much time. General Gallagher, get your troops ready." Banks demanded.

"Yes sir." General Gallagher said and left the conference room.

"I need to inform the President." John Pinto said and also left.

Banks looked out the window, the sun was rising. Soldiers closed in on the base.

"This day will be remembered as the day World War III started." Banks said and looked down.

Stay tuned for chapter 3

Chapter 2: Radiation

Commander Harb called my group into the briefing room in a large cement building in Bethlahem. There was a file on a desk marked Confidential in big red lettering. It probably has to do with our new job. Harb likes to put my group into the heat of fire because we have proven ourselves as the best strike team with the Defense Force.

"Welcome Soldiers!" Commander Harb said as the three of us sat down.

"How are you Zama?" he asked.

"Never better sir." Abraham explained

"Good son, glad to see you back to health. Good news and bad new Soldiers. You're going back out, however its going to be a joint operation with NATO in Tehran. Tehran and Iran in general has been getting nuclear strikes consistently from both the U.S. and Great Britain. Its gonna be hell in there but its your job to clean up the casualties that haven't died from the explosions and radiation. Worse new is that you will not get radiation suits..." Harb explained to us.

"Wait, what? No radiation suits even though we are going into a nuclear soaked country with only a few guns and a couple of pieces of armor?" I said in confusion.

"Unfortunatly yeah." answered Harb. " President Aza has disapproved of us going in but we think its necissary to do so. However, we can't just borrow a couple of RadSuits and expect the government to not notice them missing."

"Thats bullsh*t Commander. You're sending us on a suicide mission! You can't do that!" I yelled with a disgusted look on my face.

"I'm sorry but that's what must be done."

Well, I'll be dropping out of this. As I expected, I'm not as active as I thought I would be, and I got bored with a character I haven't even developed yet. Not to mention I know the mods are having a hard time keeping this updated and I think a lot of other people are having their pieces skipped over. One less person should make things a tad easier.

@ StrappedEnd: Brilliant first chapter, Sorry for the inconvenience of time conside this a bonus: $50 + £100 Bonus. You're second one was very short, but it was ok, Try and make them at least 1000 words, that's how many I limit myself to a minimum. $45.For Chapter 2, It was also short, Try and add a little bit more action into them. $40

@ radicell: Nice prologue, it's good that you chose an empty faction, we could use some action for North Korea, A good start and I'm hoping for a greater story wink.gif. $60.

@ Rucke: Not a bad story, Good length and great detail. Try to seperate dialog lines. Otherwise Keep it up smile.gif $45

@ Eminence: Nicely done as always Em, Nice to show a bit more of an Enemy that wasn't wielding a gun. Nice Table of Contents link added. $50.

Vercetti has been stricken, Money amounts added and updated.

smile.gif If I have made a mistake please PM me and No, No I don't think the Air Force is a Faction. You could however use the Air Force as your Protagonist's job in any faction; e.g. North Korean Air Force.

Chapter 1: The Good Fight

April 6th, 2013

f*cking Red. I can't believe 'em. Went and joined Nato, said he was planning on fightin' the "good fight." Bollocks. If he had half a brain, he'd know that in this war, there is no "good fight." Just all these pissants competing to allow their own political agendas to go forth. Us soldiers, out here on the front line, risking life and limb, we're pawns. The Rooks, Kings, and Queens? They dress up in their nice little neck-ties and power-suits, assure the public all is well, and that their gluten-free soy bread will still be there tomorrow. The only reason I'm doing this is to stay the f*ck out of prison. I'd rather die in some Middle-Eastern sh*thole than get raped for twenty years by some fat spic. Well, I'm off. Me unit's shipping out in a few hours to some base in Israel.

Chapter 3: New Plans

I was as pissed as could be leaving Commander Harb's office, I saw another confidential envelope on a table near the door of his office. As he turned to look through the window behind his desk, I swiped the folder and skimmed through it outside his office.

"That schmuck was sending us on a suicide mission so that we wouldn't do this mission." I said as the Abraham and Mateo stoped to see what I was talking about.

"What mission Amit?" Mateo asked.

"A rescue mission." I said calmly. "Just follow my lead on the drop plane."

Half way to the drop zone just out side of the Iranian border I got up off of my seat and pulled out my Desert Eagle. I slowly moved up to the cockpit and shoved the barrel into the temple of the pilot.

"You take us to Bahrain or your brains end up on the wrong side of your skull!" I shouted.

Mateo sprung up as soon as he heard this and shouted back at me, "Amit, what in the hell are you doing?"

"Change of plans guys we're going to Bahrain to end this war." I answered.

"What do you mean? Bahrain isn't a part of this war." Abraham shot out.

"Yeah that's what Zharov is hoping." I said.

"Who the hell is Zharov and what does he have to do with us Amit?" Abraham questioned.

"Ivan Zharov is the one who masterminded the nuclear strike from Iran on Jerusalem in the first place. He manipulated the Iranian government into doing so. He is the one that pushed the big red button. And now Commander Harb knows where he is and now I do too." I answered.

"Whoa, whouldn't Commander Harb tell us and not keep the information to himself?" Mateo wondered.

"That's the thing the nuke obliterated his familiss home in Jerusalem while he was stationed in Tel Aviv killing his whole family." I answered.

"Then Zahrov is in Bahrain?" said Abraham.

"Yes, he is in his mansion in Bahrain. According to the intel in that folder, Zahrov is hold up in his mansion protected by a few hundred highly trained guards." I explained

"A few hundred!" the both shouted in surprise.

"We can't deal with a few hundred trained guards. We don't have the man power." said Mateo.

"Yes we do. I sent message to General Williams of the U.S. Department of Defense with all of the intel they need to attack Bahrain." I explained more.

"But thats the issue, where does Bahrain factor into all of this other than the home of Zahrov?" asked Abraham.

"They know what Ivan Zahrov did and were planing on exploiting Iran, and Russia for their oil reserves and Korea, and Africa for their diamond and ruby mines. He would control the globe by its purse strings." I answered.

"We are almost to Bahrain" said the pilot.

"The U.S. Military will be here within minuets." I said to calm Mateo and Abraham. "Load up soldiers, its time to kick some ass."

I'd like to purchase:

• Barret M82 ('.50') Sniper Rifle - $900

• M67 Grenade - $300

• M2 Browning Machine Gun ('Browning Automatic Rifle') - $500

• MP5 Submachine Gun - $450

$2150 in total, I believe.

That shall do for now. May I also suggest, though, that you add a link for each weapon to take the user to either a Wiki page or simply an image? Plus, some of the names are really off; for example, why are some of the weapons being named by their calibre when they have actual, listed titles?

The Bullets evaded the makeshift cover me and O’Donnell had constructed with the small chunk of scrap we had pushed over behind a wrecked jeep; a flung over jeep’s door for a roof. O’Donnell was visible in the dark as a few random bursts of light lit up our surroundings for a few seconds randomly.

More Bullets and yells sounded off in the distance as the small Windscreen light above me lit up the small area we were in, I was checking all of my weapons and resting for a while; trying to rethink everything that had quickly ensued in a few hours. I was like a surreal dream, I turned to O’Donnell as a small shower of ran hit, we both jumped inside the flipped over truck and sh*t the door, the sound of rain pattering on the grimy, wrecked metallic above. Nothing but the smell of blood and the small light to accompany us. I turned to O’Donnell quickly.

“Aren’t you shocked?”

“About what?”

“The fact all of your men were wiped out”

“Ay, course I am, but you need te’ learn that people like us die every day, t’is life out here in the Army”

I took his words in as the rain proceeded with a heavier thud above us, more bullets flew outside, a few ricocheting of the truck itself, luckily no fuel was left in it and so it could not ignite; killing us.

“So what’s the plan” he asked curiously.

“We fight our way to the fourth quarter, i blow the sh*t out of the NATO then...”

“Then what?”

“Then I find a way back to North Haven”

“Why North Haven!? That Place is gone.

“I need to go back there, I want to”

“Why?” he asked with a serious tone.

The reason for me wanting to go back to North Haven was my own business; I wanted to go back for my own mission; for my friends. Before we could finish our conversation a NATO soldier was visible in the rear view mirror, O’Donnell caught on as well and just as he had advanced toward the doors we both popped out and blazed a clip into him, his body slumped onto the truck’s side; bleeding and lifeless.

Rained poured down onto us and the truck interior as we decided to move out, I stood on the Truck’s side and looked out at the battle ensuing, a few brothers were firing at the large group of NATO ahead. I ran forward; AK unholstered as we both came into a clearing full of our brothers, I began to aim precisely as the rain poured harder. A small camo dressed man approached me and O’Donnell.

“You’re the guys Monroe sent?”

I assumed the man in the suit was called Monroe.

“Yeah”

He looked at us both and noticed how exhausted we were.

“Well head into that building and get some rest, we need fully alert soldiers to help fight off the NATO c*nts” he yelled with his deep Irish accent. We ducked and ran over towards the large fully standing house, as we got close to it I stopped in my tracks, O’Donnell kept walking, Suddenly a large orbital line hit down onto the house, causing a mass explosive; knocking me. O’Donnell and a few other members away. Heat and rubble blew all around as I fell to the floor...

“sh*t, they got the Orbital Map up!” yelled a random man as I pushed myself up, I held my arm as I jumped behind some rubble firing off randomly at the hidden opposing bastards. I turned to the man who had yelled before; O’Donnell limped over towards me.

“Jesus Christ what was that” he yelled in a shocked daze.

“AOSCTS, Advanced Orbital Strike Computer Targeting System” he yelled quickly reloading his gun, a few other members’ closed in next to the three of us and began firing away.

“What?” yelled O’Donnell with a confused tone, the rain beating heavily down all over us forcing us to yell between the gunfire and heavy sounds of patter to rubble.

“The NATO forces are using a Convoy which is using 3 primary transportation trucks using satellite imaging targeting; it takes 20 minutes to send a precise signal to hit the exact inch they want”

I listened quickly before he fired off a few random bursts; he continued to explain to us both.

“We’ve been stationed here to send through a small group of men to destroy the convoy; you don’t look like a small group, but so far it’s the best we got; we’re here to repel this attacking group so you can move forward” he yelled as we all fired off our guns, wiping out a few stray bastards.

“Yeah right in the f*ckin’ eyeball” yelled a stray member as we all sat back down behind the cover.

“They’ve been blasting this area for a while now” he yelled pointing outwards to the huge blockade of rubble facing us in the street, a few NATO members were scattered in it.

“Now considering it ain’t safe here you need to keep moving” he yelled before dragging us up and leading us to an alleyway.

This was where it started...

"I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how."

The men led us to a small alleyway, more rained poured down as they led us into it and out into a small back garden, we all reloaded our heavy weapons as we stepped into an empty old untamed garden. A few men ran back into the opening; their yells sounding off in the distance. The small man began to talk again as O’Donnell rubbed his leg.

“You need to make it to the fourth quarter, get there and destroy that convoy, then report back here.”

“Got it.” said O’Donnell with a nod.

“we need some explosives” I said quickly.

“there’s bound to be some there, snuggle it and do your worst”

“Okay, thanks”

We all shook hands before the man ran off yelling to his men, Me and O’Donnell proceeded onwards into an empty street, crashed cars and bullets covered the area as we both slowly advanced up the street; guns ready to shoot anybody who dared f*ck with us. We slowly advanced as we began to whisper.

“So why North Haven?” O’Donnell whispered; crunching on some glass and looking down at it quickly before following me again.

“No reason”

“There’s one”

“One I not saying, it’s my own personal business”

“I’ll find out sooner or later Macready that was my outpost”

“Was, not anymore”

He grunted a little before following up to me, I grabbed him and we both hid down behind a car; the rain continued loudly, deafening our movements and noises from the large group of NATO I noticed patrolling the other end of the street.

“f*ckin’ c*nts, we need to get past there” I whispered.

A lone NATO began to walk down a pavement leading up towards us, O’Donnell proceeded forward as the NATO passed us; unaware of the advancing man. A few moments later O’Donnell grabbed the man and shoved a shiv into his neck, a small slice and spurt of blood was visible.

He dragged the body over to me quickly before slumping down and lighting up a cigarette, the smoke slowly swam into the heavy air, the rain dubbed out the fag after a few moments. I looked back at the Patrol post then at the body before me; an idea popped into my head as I began to undress the soldier.

“Woah, Woah he’s dead, and male!”

“I’m going to dress in the uniform and head over there to those men”

The man nodded as I began to dress into the NATO uniform; headgear and all.

This wasn’t a very thought out plan...

"I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how."

Not sure if you spotted my purchase order, Ziggy, so I'll just update it to let you see it. smile.gif

How's everyone else going with this? Been a little while since some guys have posted, hopefully you aren't slipping away from it.

Been twiddling around with some graphics stuff, came up with this, which I may now begin to incorporate...
