El Zilcho
What's the guerrilla warfare in South America got to do with ANY of it, by the way? Like, for real? Zharov has funded a coup in a South American country (I haven't gone into too much detail there, sorry), and Zharovs minimal forces are directing Brazils enemies (the newly coalition that should be added soon) against them in order to further his goal of winning the world war. Eminence
It just seems a little random. What's the link? What's Zharov's motivation for doing this? South America is obviously very isolated from the European continent - where the majority of the warfare is taking place - so what's actually dragged them into it? I realise I can try to put my own spin and take onto the whole thing, just wondering if there is a set thing in the canon thus far.
General Goose
Well, if I was Zharov, I would have a few motives: Ideological support Cutting off resources and soldiers from Brazil Having an ally abroad Stretching the enemy front
El Zilcho
Well Em, you can flesh it out. It's a very vague storyline, basically he's destabilizing South America, and also securing a possible place for an attack against North America (maybe even a repeat of the Cuban Missile Crisis?). You can build upon that if you like. P.S Stretching and distracting the enemy greatly helps as NATO will be over stretched allowing him to solely focus on Novaya Russia, whose power is slightly weakened as they recently took power. Ziggy455
Ireland, North Haven. September 12, 2012 2100 Hours. "I think it's safe to say...the Brits are moving in" said Patrick with a shocked tone, We all proceed forwards. Thoughts raced through my mind as we got closer to the small War, the IRA had been my blessing and my curse and at the end of everyday I knew one day i'd have to suppport my brothers, I felt proud to be going in but I felt scared because I hadn't seen action in a while.Doogle patted me on my back. "Relax you wee little boy, you've got it, the art of killing never leaves us." he said with a smile, I knew what he meant. We all stopped outside of a small forest as a few NATO choppers lowered and dissapeared into them, the base was ahead. It had taken us three hours to move over to the heart of the battle, luckily no NATO choppers had spotted us as we had blended in with the surroundings. Explosives and bullet shots echoed in the close distance, i could telwe were going to step into a sh*tload of chaos. The whole team moved into the small forest surrounding the base which seemed to be at the centre of the small War, Doogle had kept a radio on him since we left and we were all keeping our guns aimed high as explosions and gunfire illuminated the now dark purple sky. Me, Doogle and Browns moved forward into the opening as the rest of the team hid back in the bushes. I looked around quickly, we were on the outskirts of one of our larger bases, and it was called North Haven, primarily because it was north of the Law and Main cities like Belfast. As the three of us took cover behind an entrance wall, Doogle peered into the base. I crouched over and kept my head down as my eyes seeped into the main area, I looked around. Gunfire and explosions were all that could be heard, screaming and loud Irish accents yelling could be heard as well in the distance. Doogles radio blasted off with a bang of static, we had crossed over into the battlefields radio frequency. “This is Pig Feet Alpha, The bastards have us pinned in the Mess Hall, thee feckin c*nts shot off Jimmy and Murphy!” the voice yelled over the radio, more NATO choppers flew overhead, Doogle signalled for the rest of the team to move over to the wall. The team ran out of the trees right up to us, we all go down as a huge ray of bullets flew through the entrance piercing the barrier. “Get down!” I yelled covering Cecil’s head as the bullets whizzed through, Doogle yelled and we all moved in, NATO and IRA forces were everywhere covering each other in bullets, the Crew hid behind a few turned over Jeeps as A large area of the base exploded. Flinging debris and body parts all over the dirty floor of the base. "f*ckin' NATO bastards, fightin' from the sky like a bunch of pussies" yelled Danny with a laugh, regardless of the array of bullets flying all over the place. Jesse, Patrick and Cecil split from us and moved over to a large group of our men hiding in a half wrecked Depot, the rest of us were going to head right into the fight to support the remaining men. Doogle led us as we moved around the edges of the Base, I kept moving. Suddenly a few NATO grunts spotted us, I quickly pulled out my eagle and shot at them, the heavy bullets hitting my enemies sluggishly. Browns headed into the open. “Browns where the f*ck are you goin?” Yelled the Doogle with a shocked tone as a NATO chopper crashed down over our heads, Brown didn't flinch as the Chopper skidded into a building causing more destruction. I fired off at a few NATO snipers splitting up, i managed to hit a few which slowed them down. “Just go you knobs, I’ll buy ya’ some time” the big guy yelled as he fired off his M60, mowing down a small group of NATO as me, Doogle, Danny and Macreary kept moving, after a few small gunfights and running leaps of faith we got to the main compound where Pig Feet Alpha was. I wathed as a few hidden brothers were firing from the small office block, a large chunk of it had been blown out and the rest of the grimy creme exterior was covered in bullet holes. "Thats where we need to be!" i yelled putting my eagle away and unsheathing my small Glock 17, a NATO jumped from behind us but before he could fire Doogle jabbed him through his gear with a small Shiv, a small squirt of thick blood spurted onto the floor. We crouched and ran towards Alphas position as bullets flew overhead, suddenly.“Watch out” yelled Doogle as a grenade hit by us, exploding immediately, Blowing Patrick and the rest of us apart. I hit the floor as Danny’s body split apart, all that was left a big f*cking red circle of blood. Doogle ran towards me, his voice was quiet, the shock of the explosion had knocked my hearing out temporarily, everything around me was playing like a silent movie, everything was goin' to sh*t real bad real fast. Doogle was talking to me in a silent fashion, he grabbed me as i pushed myself up...bullets blowing everywhere, i kept my colt firing off at the few NATOs i could find as we all moved over to the building. Suddenly I hit the floor, darkness set in... In a matter of hours my world had been flipped, I'd been thrown into a battle that had no Objective other than to survive and kill the Bastard Brits on the other team, Maybe Pig Feet, an IRA honoured soldier had answers, all I had to do was survive. Rhoda
I've heard from down the grapevine that some of the staff here just aren't pulling their weight, for example, rating stories but not adding the totals to the tables in the first post. For one thing, it's your duty as staff of this topic to do that. For another, it makes things extremely difficult and frustrating for other staff members as no-one knows what has been added and what hasn't. I'm not mentioning names, and just this once I'll help out but that's it; I've not even volunteered to take part in this topic and I've been approached to help out which is not the way things should work. In future, if you really feel you can't edit the tables, please please please add what needs to be added at the end of your rating post. That way, staff that are more experienced with tables can look at your post and quickly add what needs to be added before carrying on.
StoneyWhistle
Chapter One “Old To Reality” Character: Liam Foley Army: Irish Republican Army Time: 1900 Hours “Damn it Foley, get the hell up, we got British troops moving.”, whispered my commanding officer Nolan O’Farrell. I had been up all night from watch for the squad I was in. It was my time to get some rest, but not even four hours of rest, I was awoken by my leader, Nolan O’Farrell. He had been with the IRA for over a year now, and he had been loyal. During a riot, my mother and father were killed, but I was saved by these men. I was only 16 years of age, not even old enough to join an army, let alone a rebellion. “Sorry, Mr. Nolan, I was up all night on watch.”, I whispered back to him. Nolan wasted no time getting me prepared, he didn’t even bother to talk back to me. All he did was look at me and hand me a gun. “Tec-9, use it, and love it. That weapon will save your life if you use it correctly, Foley.” Nolan replied with a serious, but frustrated look on his face. I barely got up before I heard the guy right beside me, yell “WE’RE SPOTTED!” I was scared sh*tless, and all I saw was bullets start flying and people were falling. They was the first time I had ever been in battle. I loaded the Tec-9, and I started aiming at British soldiers. I couldn’t shoot the gun, until I thought about the day the raid in central Belfast happen, the British men who killed my father, then raped my mother, and then killed her too. It was then when four men broke in the house and killed the British soldiers. When I started shooting the Tec-9, I felt like I was invincible, and that I couldn’t be stopped. I was never taught how to fire a dangerous weapon, but I knew I’d have to learn now. Once I started shooting multiple rounds, I figured all the opposing soldiers were down, either dead, or injured, and I was right, the bullets stopped flying, and my squad started getting worried. “You guys okay?”, said Brady. “I swear, one of those damn bullets that them Brits shot off almost took my head off.” Brady laughed as he said those words. He was a humorous man, and he just knew that nothing was going to happen as long as he was with his mates. “Okay fellows, we’ve got to leave this location. I’m sure the Brits will be wondering what the hell happen to one of their troops.”, stated Nolan. “Nolan, we just can’t leave right now can we? I just can’t imagine what the f*ck their troops have back in Belfast. Just think, we could be rolling back to Belfast all alone, but then again their could be some other IRA troops there.”, said one of the men who I wasn’t familiar with. We all looked at each other in an awkward silence, and then we got ready to move out. It seemed that we would have to go into Belfast, rather we liked it or not. I was just scared that we would be heading to a hill of trouble. I didn’t want to die at such a young age, but it looked like I had no choice, all I knew is that I would have to work on my aiming. Right after we looked at each other in the silence, I picked up the Tec-9 that I used to damage the men who shot at us first. We were all scared, and none of use knew what we were going to do when we got there. All I knew is that if I was about go into war with British soldiers that have actually trained, I knew that I would have to get my mind off of the fact that I wanted revenge, and nothing else, and I was now a warrior for Ireland. Ziggy455
I'd like to Purchase the AR-15 and an M24 sniper. for StonyWhistle. Ireland, North Haven. September 12, 2012 2230 Hours. My eyes slowly opened as a small amount of dust fell onto my face; I slowly jumped up rubbing it out of my eyes. I looked around, quickly noticing Doogle, Browns and an Injured Patrick firing out of a half wrecked window. I knew I was in the creme building with Alpha, I sat up and pulled out my desert eagle, I proceeded over to Doogle and hid behind a wall as bullets invaded the building. “Doogle!?” I yelled quickly, shielding myself from an explosion in the distance. “what?” he yelled before firing off his Glock once again, I peered out and noticed a small amount of NATOs was left, More choppers had flown overhead as I fired at the remaining Bastard Brits, I managed to hit and kill one of them as the rest scattered back into what scraps of cover they could find, the base surrounding us was blown to sh*t. “Where’s alpha?” I yelled, trying to faction out the gunfire. “Dead, Pig Feet got blasted as we pulled you in” he said still keeping his attention on the NATOs below, “The rest of our team is pigsh*t” he added, a slumped down onto the wall and though about the rest of the team; Jesse, Danny, Cecil...Everything slowed down as I thought of all the card games and drunken mishaps we'd all had together. Suddenly time sped up, Doogle grabbed me up and looked at me with a face of anger. “This isn’t the time Packie, go and grab that AR-15“ he said pulling me up, I went and grabbed the automatic rifle off the table and slid back the hammer. I aimed it outwards and peered through the red scope, i swiftly shot three of the British c*nts down, their heads cracked quickly as blood spurted outwards from there gaping wounds. Browns fired off his M60, Mowing down the last of the Forces, smoke filled the room from the constant gunfire and my ears were ringing. The remaining members all met up outside of the building, we all kept our guns aimed high. Praying that was the last of the NATO. I lowered my new AR-15 and stood outside of the building, suddenly a large amount of IRA soldiers walked towards us. We all lowered our guns as our brothers stopped to talk to us. “Hello there, brothers” said a large bearded man wearing a leather jacket, he hugged Doogle as we all began to talk. Alot more Irish Members stood around the four of us as the leader began to talk to us, a few were bleeding while others were covered in dirt. “Where d’ya come from?” he asked Doogle with a cool but curious tone. “West Barracks, small Outpost” he said reloading his gun, I slowly put my Rifle onto my back and reloaded my Eagle quickly. “Well thanks for the assistance, green brother” the bearded man said with a thankful tone, all of the members cheered as we all thought the forces had been defeated. “My name’s Doogle” he said shaking the leaders hand. “I’m O’Donnell” the bearded man replied, suddenly more choppers flew overhead. “We’re not out of the woods yet boys” yelled O’Donnell as more choppers flew overhead, suddenly everybody split up. Me, Doogle, Browns and Patrick ran back into the Creme building as a few NATO choppers landed outside and inside of the base, a few were covered in bullets while the ones on the outside let out large groups of Brits. I reloaded my AR-15 and aimed it out of a window, O’Donnell headed inside with us while the remaining forces took up strategic positions. Immediately NATOs swarmed back in through the entrance, I fired off a few rounds trying to stop them getting in, bullets covered the entrance as the remaining IRA forces fired off. Brown’s M60 jammed loudly, he whacked it with an angry force, just as i proceeded over to help him a few bullets sprayed through the window piercing his big body as he fell, i crouched over towards him and grabbed a medipack, quickly dressing over the small wounds. Blood dripped from his mouth as he grabbed me and began to gurgle something. “Kill them all” he gurgled quickly before his body stopped moving, life escaping him. “sh*t sh*t sh*t sh*t sh*t!” I said kicking over a few inanimate objects in hopeless anger, Doogle yelled over to me. I wiped away a few tears of anger as I picked up his M60; sliding back the hammer I proceeded to the window. I fired it blindly at the advancing forces, mowing down a few more men as I yelled in anger. A few IRA forces hit the floor, bleeding profusely. O’Donnell fired off his M24, picking off a solid amount of the tea drinkers. Patrick grabbed me as a large amount of bullets splintered the window; the building had nearly become rubble. “Doogle, we need to move before this thing blows up” yelled Patrick quickly, the building itself was crumbling. Suddenly We looked down, NATO forces had wiped out most of the remaining IRA as we proceeded out of the Building into the open, suddenly bullets sprayed he floor, a few piercing O’Donnell’s leg. I grabbed his jacket and dragged him along as he fired off his rifle blindly, screaming in pain. The remaining men hid behind a large overturned, smoking jeep. “Thanks kid” he said reloading, we all reloaded as bullets sprayed onto the jeep... “Doogle we’re f*cked” yelled Patrick, not much Hope was left for the remaining IRA... StoneyWhistle
Thanks Ziggy Almost 2000 words lol Chapter Two “Realizing Other's Actions” Character: Liam Foley Time: 2200 Hours Almost two days had gone by since I left Belfast. After the raid was done, and I was rescued by the squad I was now apart of, I felt changed, and that I was free from the word that everyone seemed to call horrible. I mean yeah, of course the world was still a piece of s**t to all of us, but for a slight moment, I felt strange, as if I was to be lifted and plucked from the pack by God himself. I was there, with my squad, 2200 hours. “Stop day dreaming, Foley!”, yelled Brady. I was lost within the world I was born, and to me everything seemed relax, but my squad was scared, and they didn’t know what the hell to expect. I wasn’t thinking about that, but that all changed when a bullet scanned right by the helmet that my squad and I had stole from the British soldiers. “SNIPER!”, I screamed at the top of my lungs. After I screamed sniper, everyone started running for cover. I could tell the other guys were scared, as I was earlier, but right now…I seemed calmer. “So guys…what are we going to do?”, Brady said awkwardly. “Shut up Brady! Here’s what we’re going to do. Toke, I want you and Foley to go behind enemy lines and take out that f*ckin’ sniper.” I took a deep breath, and thought about what the hell I was going to do. I had never even been with the squad long enough to know how to sneak around, but then again I was a bit calm about my mission, and knowing that Toke was going to be going with me, make me feel better about myself being that he was a veteran to the IRA. “Okay chief, whatever you say. Just one thing I need to do, and that is get that AR-15 you got strapped to your back that I’ve been eying for sometime now.”, Toke said smirking as he talked. It was true how Toke always seemed to look at O’Farrell’s AR-15, which was really just a single shot M-16, but no one really cared, cause to them, a gun was a gun. Toke though, seemed to notice that the AR-15 that O’Farrell’s AR-15 was the best gun the squad had. “Fine, since you are the best soldier I have out of these numb nuts, I know that this gun will be safe with you.”, Nolan exclaimed in a frustrated tone. Nolan’s frustration worried me, it really did. He was a nice guy, but ever since I had meet him, when he had to do something he didn’t want, he got very frustrated, that would sometimes end horrible. Most of the time though it was Brady that got him pissed off, but now it was Toke. Even though Toke didn’t mean any harm, he should have knew that Nolan wouldn’t want to give someone the squad’s best gun, but then again though, Nolan knew that Toke was a crack shot with any kind of gun. So now that Toke was appointed my partner in this mission, I need to know what the plan was. “So, what are we going to be doing chief?” asked Toke, in his always serious voice. I wasn’t sure what was going through O’Farrell’s head, nor did I know what was going through Toke’s head. All I knew is that I was going to be going on a mission with a man that I barely knew. “Well Toke, I want you and the lad here to go around through the forest, and come behind these bastards. There might be about three of them, so that AR-15, and that Sawn-Off shotgun should do enough of the helping.” cockily stated O’Farrell. “Okay…We’ll let’s go ahead and head out youngster, I guess we might as well go, and cause a little hell lad.”, said Toke as he winked at me. I wasn’t sure what Toke was all about, but I did know that he was born to fight for Ireland, and the freedom of Northern Ireland. So since we were going into a recon mission, as I would call it. I grabbed the sawn-off shotgun, as Toke grabbed the AR-15 that he had a dying passion for. “This is my only request, and that is that you don’t slack around, cause I swear if you get us killed, I will f*ck you up in heaven lad.”, Toke said with the smirk that he had that always followed his serious tone. As Toke, and I got prepared, I pulled down my ski-mask, to make sure the British soldiers couldn’t make out my identity. We slowly got up, and creped through the forest with our guns prepared for fire. I know I wasn’t about to let my partner die, and I had the comfort that he wouldn’t let me die either. We barely spoke a word, until we arrived right beside the small squad of British soldiers. “Listen, this is what I want you to do, I want you to creep down a little bit more, and then when you get the chance, that the sawn-off, and shoot one of those bastards in the back.”, whispered Toke. I snuck down a little bit more until I was completely down at the small squad of four’s position. I looked down to Toke, and I nodded to him to get ready for fire. He nodded back, and as soon as the man I was pointing out turned around, I ran behind him, and shot him right in the back with the sawn-off shotgun. The sound of the gun alerted the other British soldiers, but it was to late for them, two had be shot in the head by Toke, and his AR-15, but the last one was out of sight. It was the sniper who was out of sight. I walked inside a tent, and I was hit in the back by an E-Tool. I was fighting with the last guy. While I was on the ground trying to get up, he took out a pistol, and he went to shoot me, but all of a sudden, he was stabbed in the back by a shiv that belonged to Toke. Something he made almost a hour after I meet Toke, he made it, and turns out, the shiv that he made…saved my life. The soldier was trying to gain his breath from the shock that he just went through of being stabbed once, but once he did that, Toke stabbed him numerous of times. Toke finally stabbed the Brit one last time, and the soldier fell to the ground. Instead of having the serious look he always had on his face, Toke had an insane look on his face. It looked to me as if he wasn’t even done killing. I feared for my life for a few seconds, but then Toke left the bloody scene that he had left and returned to doing whatever he was doing. I was just lying there on the ground of the tent, wondering what the hell just happen, but then I recovered myself back to my feet and left the bloody scene as Toke did. When I left the tent I looked over to Toke, and he picked up the M24 that the sniper was using. “Listen Lad…What you just saw, I don’t want to relive…so how about you not tell anyone. I just want to go ahead and get this over with. Take all the ammo you can find, and if there are any assault rifles, wrap them up in a blanket from the tent, and take them back to the squad. Also, take all the food you can find…we need all the supplies we can get.”, Toke said in an emotion I had never seen before. I was now frightened of Toke, and I saw that he was a man of many cards. I just did what he told me, cause I didn’t want to end up like the sniper who Toke just stabbed to death in front of my eyes. The only assault rifles I could find was more AR-15. It was as if the damn Brits had broke into one of the IRA strongholds and stole all the weapons they had. But I didn’t want to stick around the base much longer, so I just moved fast. The sight of the dead men made me feel odd. I mean I did see the soldiers we killed earlier that day, but I never actually stuck around to take a close look at them. While I was moving fast, I glanced at Toke, and him seemed to want to keep the M24 that he had just took from the dead sniper. “I’ve got all the things we need, Mr. Toke.” I exclaimed to Toke, and I respectfully called him mister. He nodded at me, and motioned that we needed to get back to O’Farrell, Brady, and the other man who I didn’t know was. He was like a mystery, but wasn’t everyone to me? I realized what my job was, and that was being a freedom fighter. Not a question asker, or anything other. So once that I knew what Toke wanted to do, I followed in behind him, and walking back to the squad was quieter than walking to the battle. I didn’t ask any questions or anything or the sort, I just did my job. Once we got back to the squad, I heard Brady telling horrible jokes about American’s and Brits. He told the typical obese American jokes, and the crooked teeth Brit jokes. No one ever laughed, and he’d just keep on going until O’Farrell would finally tell him to shut up. And when it happen this time, Brady didn’t even argue. It was as if he didn’t even care that he was stopped. But O’Farrell did want to know how the mission went. “So, what happen up there on the hill, anything I need to know about lads?”, curiously asked by Nolan. “No, nothing at all, we got enough rifles, and we now have a sniper for range.”, I told Nolan. Toke seemed to ignore us all. He just sat at the camp fire leaning his back against a tree post that was just naturally there. Nolan took a look at him, but then smirked and started telling us how we’d just make a camp site, and make our move tomorrow morning. I could tell that Toke was still shocked by his actions up on the hill, but I didn’t think that it would effect him that bad. We all just sat around quietly, eating some cooked potatoes that we got from some old market house a few hours after we left Belfast. Our quest back to Belfast though, would be short, and we’d just know that we’d hopefully meet some more IRA soldiers back in Belfast. The night went by slowly, and the mysterious man who I was curious about was the guard for the night. Before I went to sleep though, I saw a flare go up into the sky. Everyone except the other guy, and I were asleep. I didn’t pay the flare no mind, cause I knew that no IRA squad was stupid enough to give away their position by a flare, but then again, the British soldiers were, and that bothered me. I thought about the flare deeply, along with other things, but then I seemed to slowly drift asleep. TBC

Ziggy455
Ireland, Area formerly known as 'North Haven.' September 12, 2012 2315 Hours. I leered around the corner, not many NATO was opposing us. We had a small chance of surviving is the remaining Platoon could pull together. I reloaded my AR-15 before we heard a lone voice. “Come out you green leaf barstards” yelled the heavy British voice, we all reloaded our guns quickly before Doogle began to talk. “Only way you c*nts are going to win is if you pry these guns from our cold dead hands” he yelled quickly with a tone of hate and determination in his Irish voice. “That was the plan, you dead prick” he yelled before a large array of bullets blasted the wreckage of the destroyed jeep. I pulled out a smoke grenade and nodded to Doogle. “How many on the left?” I asked as he peered out, “four on the left, three on the right and the C.O middle” he said quickly. I nodded and pulled the pin out of the grenade, lunging it over towards the brits I jumped out aiming with the thermal scope, bullets hit the jeep as I peered and fired off swiftly and precisely, taking down 4 easily on the left, immediately I fired off 3 bursts to the right, one hitting the commander and another piercing one to the right. The rest of us Dashed back into the remainder of the Creme building, except for Patrick. “Patrick get inside” I yelled, suddenly the smoke cleared. Patrick stepped out and fired off his Glock, trying to fire at the remaining Forces. Suddenly I noticed a NATO come from behind his position, I fired of the AR-15, immediately cracking open the Brit’s head as he hit the floor, Patrick turned and waved as the man fell, but eventually the commander unholstered his M16 and fired a clip into Patrick, I yelled and fired at the CO as Patrick’s lifeless body hit the dirt, a large trail of blood seeping from him as I screamed and fire angrily. “Patricks down” yelled Doogle in anger as he fired off his remaining bullets of his Glock, I looked around. Everything went back into slow motion; all that was left out of the entire f*cking battleground was me, Doogle and O’Donnell. Outside only a few were left. As I crouched behind a wall, a small explosion rocked the floor below. Suddenly a area leading to the exit door caved in, trapping us three as more bullets skimmed through the fragments of wall and steel. I fired off randomly back out into the open, causing the CO and 3 remaining men to hit the floor simultaneously, the CO launched another grenade as he pushed himself up, I fired off a round, ricocheting off the ground straight through his left leg. Doogle cocked his gun once more moving outwards to the window, the remaining NATO all joined up and fiercely invaded the now visible hole of the building, and Doogle was pierced numerously as the bullets kept moving, blood sprayed over me and the injured O’Donnell. Doogle hit the floor quickly holding his wounds, he screamed in anger and pain as I lifted up my Rifle and aimed with a quick succession of bullets piercing into two of the 4 remaining NATOS. “Kid, get me that radio” yelled O’Donnell, I jumped over the now badly bleeding Doogle as I grabbed the Radio, “call for backup” the leader added as he quickly applied a bandage onto Doogle. I hid behind the wall and unholstered my Desert Eagle; it glinted magnificently in the light as I moved out firing. The CO threw one final Grenade at our last stronghold, the frames began to crack and give way as the Grenade exploded with a large shockwave. Jumping backwards the floor began to give way, I dragged Doogle and O’Donnell to a strong piece of flooring as blood began to soak onto the floor. “This is Patrick Macready, Requesting urgent reinforcements to North Haven West of Hillside Outpost 4534” I yelled quickly firing off my Eagle down at the Hidden Enemy. Suddenly I heard that familiar voice, “get out here and fight me you green leaf bastard” it yelled, coaxing me. O’Donnell looked outwards then back at me as I panted heavily, knowing what I had to do. The Leader gave me a final Glock 17 as I stood up into the open, I jumped out of the large hole onto the floor below, waiting for the CO to appear, the grunt slowly turned aiming an M16 at me, with a quick fire of my gun I laid a straight clean quick bullet to his head. I waited silently, covered in rubble and blood, the CO stepped out, a clean bandage visible from his leg. He dropped his M16, as did I with my gun. “We’ll settle this fairly” he said raising his arms, I cracked my knuckles and ran forwards yelling, he stood silently and waited for my move. As I ran forwards, lunging my fists he quickly dodged, pushing my arm back and forcing me to the ground. I slowly turned and pushed his body of off me. I pushed myself up quickly, his fists came slamming down, as I dodged them I delivered a quick jab to the face and knee to the stomach. He yelled in pain as I went for another jab, his arm blocked it as his good leg kicked and tripped me up. “Get up” he yelled, forcing me to fight him once again. I pushed my tired body up, fists raised for another fight, he ran forward hitting me hard on my head, I turned a smashed a boot to his bad leg as he fell over, as I jumped for his body he turned over and dodged, smacking my chest as I moved back, pushing myself up. He gave a jab to my face as did I, he moved back as I grabbed his head and gave him a final blow to the head, he forced himself once more to trip me, as I fell a took him down, immediately jumping up and turning myself to grab my AR-15 i heard that familiar sound of a gun’s hammer locking. “Game Over greenie” he said with a cruel tone. His finger pressed the trigger lightly. I closed my eyes and waited for it, I heard the shot go off as I flinched barely, turning I noticed the CO’s body on the floor, his head splintered open from a heavy bullet to the brain. I looked around further and noticed O’Donnell holding his other Glock. I gave a weak smile as a small array of IRA choppers flew overhead, blowing clean air in our way. “Yeah game over you arse” he said with a smile. “Doogle?” I asked looking at O’Donnell quickly; he gave a small shake of his head and looked down in sadness. Doogle was gone, that was it...nobody left, nobody but me... I examined the chaos around me, North Haven was no more, bodies, rubble and blood covered the area. O’Donnell patted me on the back as he walked off to a chopper that had landed ahead of us. Blowing dust and the smell of fresh blood my way. Suddenly a large man in a black suit advanced towards me, “what Platoon were you with” he asked, I aimlessly wandered, covered in dust and blood. My eyes shifted. My attention was brought back to the man. “I don’t have a platoon anymore” I said with an angry tone, sadness overwhelmed me. The man in the suit began to speak to me again. "Son you're needed in Belfast pronto" he said pulling me away to a chopper with O'Donnell... Correction Stony, we, my friend. The Guru
There is a slight issue with your stories, Guru. The Zharov Party are close allies of China, it's Novaya Russia that's at war with the PRC. Oh sorry, I guess I didn't undetstand the Story Outline properly. I might asweel go change the words ''Zharov Party'' in to Novaya Russia. Sorry about this. StoneyWhistle
This one was short because it was late, and I just wanted to get more into Liam's head. =) Chapter Three “Hit ‘Em Hard” Character: Liam Foley Time: 0310 Hours Day three in our conquest from Belfast, and going to Belfast. We’ve gotten more guns, and Brady has almost fixed the CB we found after the first encounter with the NATO soldiers. Things have seemed to gotten better in the last few hours. I went to sleep at 2230 hours, but then I was woken by Nolan again. We sat around the camp fire and talked about what’d we’d be doing as soon as we free Northern Ireland, and win the war that we were in. Belfast was in for hell when we would arrive there. We were only about twenty-three miles away from the city line. Toke was making some kind of soup over the campfire, and I could just tell that he was ready for whatever may hit us. “Wait until we hit them bastard Brits, Liam. They’ll never see what the f*ck hit them.”, Brady said laughing while a strong sent of beer came from his breath. “Don’t mind him, Liam. Brady just had about, all our damn drinks.”, Toke said tilting his head up while fixing the soup. I could tell something bad was going to happen either within the squad or outside the squad. I didn’t know why, but Brady being drunk and all made me worried. I was a bit scared of all the happing around me, but then I thought about the flare that I saw earlier that day. I was sitting there on my blanket, just thinking what could go wrong when we head to Belfast. I just knew that if we could get the CB fixed by the morning, we could send a message to other IRA squads or something. I just couldn’t imagine what the hell would happen if it was only five men going into a battle against the British NATO soldiers that were stationed in Belfast. With a whisper in the wind, I heard a small boom. I didn’t completely know what had just happen, but I did know that I seemed to be the only one who had heard it. It startled me…and me jumping from the startling, the others got a bit frightened. “What the hell is wrong with you?”, said O’Farrell with a confused look on his face. “Looks like the boy got a bit startled from the sounds he heard at Fort Elizabeth.”, Toke stated with a jolly look on his face. Everyone smiled after they heard what Toke had said, but I was still freighted by the news I was just told. I never knew there was a Fort near the place we were camped, and what if some of the soldiers there decided to go on a hunt for IRA squads. As I was still startled, and had the ignorant look on my face, Toke calmed me more. “Don’t worry lad…Fort Elizabeth isn’t even worth our trouble. It is full of British soldiers who think they can drink and raise hell like Irishmen, so they throw parties every night. They are just a bunch of pricks, but attacking them and taking weapons would probably make our journey a little bit more worth our while.”, Toke replied to my odd look. I noticed that Toke was more talk-a-tive, ever since earlier today. Since it was night though, I guess he didn’t feel the need to be quite. I guess I was more of the quite one now that I looked at it, but then again, I noticed the mysterious man who was apart of my squad. I didn’t know if anyone knew his name or what, but he seemed crazy to me, like Toke was earlier this day. Next thing I knew though, was Brady handing me a bottle. It was empty, but it seemed he thought it was full. I grabbed the bottle, and just threw it to the ground, cause I wasn’t much of a drunk, and the bottle was defiantly no good to me being that it was completely empty, but something that was of use was the bowl of soup that Toke handed me. In my squad, none of use talked much, well, at least not most of us. Brady talked all the time, and he was just the typical Irishman who couldn’t keep his mouth shut. But even when he talked, I didn’t pay him much mind. As I was sitting there, I thought about the things that happen in the world since all that happen with Russia, and such. I wasn’t really big with the news, but it did concern me that I was now apart of World War III. As I sat there eating the soup that Toke had made, I realized that it tasted like my mother’s soup, the kind she would make when I was about twelve years of age, when I would be sick. I also remembered the day my father told me of the British bastards that were sent by Satan himself to ruin Northern Ireland. I knew that he would be proud of the things I was doing now, but he never wanted me to be apart of such. He wanted me to go to the America’s, and do something different with my life, but I was raised in a poor family, and getting money was hard. While I was thinking, and when I finished my soup, O’Farrell turned to me. “Okay lads, we’re moving out. We need to get the hell out of here before we are found.”, stated O’Farrell. Well said from Nolan, and no one was about to argue. We all gathered our stuff, and started to move out. I put on my ski-mask and I realized that this night…would indeed be one long night. Ziggy455
My Second Story is up now I’d like to purchase; AK-47s, MP5s and a combat knife. I awoke in the large, IRA imprinted Chopper. I had been asleep for a few hours, Its huge steel blades cutting through the air as it ascended into the dark night sky awoke me with a fright, in the chopper was me, a Medic tending to O’Donnell and the large man in the Black suit. I stared at him as he did me for a few moments before he began to speak, unnerved by my silence. “So anyway, sorry for puling you out of there, but this is urgent” he yelled, reasoning his appearance to pull me away from my dead friends so dearly and quickly. He handed me a large piece of paper, its contents; the map of Belfast, the fourth quarter. I studied it closely, O’Donnell yelled in pain as the Medic removed the clean bullet from his oozing leg. The man waited for my reply. “Why me?” I asked with a simple tone, waiting for his explanation. He began to speak. “when the NATO forces invaded Belfast, us; the Irish government decided to truce with the IRA, we’ve shipped a lot of men into Belfast, anybody with more than 2 years experience will go there to fight off the opposing NATO” he explained, as he spoke I felt as if now I was being forced to fight for the government, as if the republic had become the governments dog. But that was just the way I thought. I looked out into the open and watched the standalone outposts burn, the NATO had swept through and killed most of my brothers, I felt sorrow and pain as I thought back to my Platoon, all the funny and dumbf*ck times we’d shared together, I watched as a few NATO choppers flew to the Large city of Belfast in the distance. “Hey, my entire outpost was slaughtered, and you wanna’ send us back in there!?” O’Donnell asked with a shock, anger building up inside of him. “We have no choice, if NATOs take over Belfast then we’re f*cked” the man said trying the reason with the Grumpy Leader. I watched as the Medic calmed him down, the man turned his attention back to me; wiping away sweat from his large bald head. I looked at him with a menacing glare as he spoke once more. “You won’t be alone, there are teams scattered out throughout most of the City, they’re trying to oppose the NATO from advancing, what we need you to do Macready is a special assignment” he said with a curious tone, I pulled out my now Dirty Eagle and began to wipe it. “We need you to destroy a convoy-“ “you got an five O rounds?” “I’m sorry, what?” he asked with a shock. “Five O, Desert Eagle rounds” I said with a simple tone. The medic and man locked eyes as the Medicine man threw me a box, I began to refill as the man spoke again. “You need to destroy the 4th Convoy, East of Belfast’s 4th Quarter.” He said quickly, trying to explain everything hastily, O’Donnell looked at the man with calmness in his face. “What weapons are we going to be supplied with?” he asked curiously, the man opened a small compartment from behind his head. “AKs, MPs and Standard combat knife, also providing we let you keep your remaining guns also” he said with a quick smile, I moved over and grabbed a visible AK, I checked it quickly as the chopper swayed past a large fire. “No explosives?” I asked quickly rising to the opportunity. The man shook his head; I lowered mygun quickly. “How are we meant to blow the arseholes up?” I asked angrily. “Just neutralize any forces In the area of the convoy, if you find some explosives them give them hell” he said with an annoyed tone, he whispered to himself quietly. O’Donnell moved over and grabbed an MP5, as he loaded it he threw me over a small combat knife; I sheathed it into my now empty knife container. The man looked at us as we began to kit up. I looked down the rifle and smiled a little, I was going to get those NATO bastards back for earlier. “Destroy the parked convoy near the monuments, then get to the extraction point, we’ll take you to a medical centre when you get back” he said as the chopper came to a quick halt, immediately bullets skimmed off the windows and sides. “go now!” he yelled as the hopper descended rapidly, as I opened the door I looked around; fires illuminated the dark Irish streets of Belfast, I grabbed O’Donnell and we both jumped, armed to the teeth... We hit the bullet grazed floor heavily, looking up we noticed the large chopper sway off into the distance as bullets covered it, I checked my radio and then brought my attention to the streets ahead. Payback was imminent... Edited June 23, 2009 by Ziggy455 "I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how."
Lethal Nizzle
Just a quick word in, you guys need to chill with the updates. The whole idea of BUYG/A is for the staff to read and rate each story individually; now I know Craig's stepped in and the others have seemingly vanished from rating, and that means you have to give the staff time to rate them first. sam33
Think about it though. Time it takes to write a story > Time it takes to read a story. Something isn't right here. Thats probably becuase theres 19 or so writers churning them out at 1 every other day. And to the best of my knowledge I didnt know that the MUhadjeen were still active. I thought they broke up and formed the Taliban. Also how come South Korea aint a slot given its at war with North Korea.
