My TF2's been bugged. Sometimes it takes a while to load it and then either way, it freezes on the ''loading'' screen before the main menu(something that took 10 seconds before)

 

Nevermind this, fixed it now.

 

Should we hold a xmas meet on fireguy's server maybe?

I'd be interested I suppose, depending on how good the lot of you are; I'm bloody good with all the combat classes as well as medic and fairly decent with solly so I can generally fill in any needed combat or healing role.

That's Raid Mode (well everyone thinks it is as it's been in the works for ages) and Meet The Pyro has been confirmed for ages, Hell people who have been to Valve have seen a ton of whats in Meet The Pyro, it's also had a page on the TF2 website since the Uber Update.

I guess because L4D has no store for them to make money off of. Sad, but true.

 

Anyway, Meet the Medic was awesome, and when Meet the Pyro and the in-game update are released, the internet is going to explode. Okay, maybe that's a bit much, but the Steam forums probably will explode.

 

edit- it's out. Meet the Pyro is out. And I must say... honestly I don't know what to say. I am not sure if I should be ripping my eyeballs out or not. Seriously though. Won't spoil it for anyone, but here:

I was really disappointed. Meet the Medic was perfect: Great action, great voice acting, great insight into the Medic's character. The only thing Meet the Pyro did better was animations, honestly, but people could just create their own shorts later if Source Filmmaker is coming out.

 

TF2 came before this dumb pony craze. It's a shame to see them coming together.

 

Hope the site comes back up soon so we can see the Day 3 update. If there is one...

You mean the unicorns? Thats it then, all of valve must be my little pony fans.

 

I think it did a pretty good job of portraying the pyro as the psychopath he is. The cuts between with him sticking an axe in the heavies face or trapping the medic in a barn and burning it down were pretty "extreme", even for TF2. The light heartedness of what the pyro "sees" makes it more amusing that just stand alone violence. I'm a little bummed about not seeing his face but then again, that would take away from the soulless monster that he is.

Valve is smart. Source filmmaker? Who doesn't want something like that? People will buy any Valve game just to be able to dick around with character in the filmmaker. What a fantastic idea. And very creative. Can't wait to try it out.

Hell yeah... I'd make a video for the red team getting beaten up by Blu pyros using this.. But speaking of Mr. Pyro, whats up? Is he imaging and killing people at the same time? He is like the weirdest character in the whole game. There is still no clue why he doesn't set his own team on fire though, or why he extinguishes them though.

 

By the way, is there is any way possible I can make my account premium without depositing 5$ at Steam? I though I'd dish out 50 cents for an item and bam, become premium, but I hate being hampered down by F2P stuff

 

Plus I'm looking for some sort of legendary box... Crate #40...

Good the update is like 400MB.. Hey, what the... Minecraft updates on the fly, TF2 ain't doing that!! Please stop Valve... the game is already fun without all these too much, too large updates.

 

Also new weapons and hats... Ha! Lets see if you can fight with your still boring weapons to make the new weapons (I never saw them, but whats the fuss around them) available to you.

    Spin-up speed bonus reduced from +40% to +10%

Good job Valve, the Tomislav is now more worthless than Natascha. How do you even manage to f*ck up that bad? I mean the Tomislav was already a downgrade from the Minigun, but now it's just f*cking 100% worthless.

 

I like some of the other things though. Glad to finally see the flamethrower buffs, and the Crit-A-Cola increasing movement speed is very nice. I'm also glad to see that the Equalizer was split into two different weapons (personally, I'll stick with The Escape Plan).
