I am officially the most lucky man in the history of TF2.

I sold my 2 keys for a Hound Dog and a Hottie's Hoodie, nothing too special, BUT

 

A day later, I find ZE f*ckING GOGGLES.

 

That sums up to 2 Medic hats and a Soldier Hat found in a year. Is the game trying to tell me something?

EDIT: Okay, I normally don't throw this out or sell for so low here but I'm desperately looking for someone to buy a Vintage Pyro's Beanie. A Demo hat, or even 2 ref will do good, since I can't find anyone who wants this thing.

Well i'be unboxed 2 unusuals so far, got another one for free in a raffle on Facepunch, unboxed 20+ hats and recently been doing trades for large amount of hats. For example today i got maybe 9 or 10 of hats from just one guy, with some being vintage and the odd genuine.

 

I'd consider that pretty lucky.

I actually collected about 95% of weapons, and now that i keep getting them dropped i plan on crafting them into hats.

You guys have to remember that TF2 is the worlds #1 war hat simulator.

 

Also I'm pretty happy with my hats I have now, the ones I get of people that i don't want or already have i give to the people i play TF2 with for nothing. I also collect all the weapons, I'm 3 weapons off having them all. Only need a Three Rune Blade, Maul and a HHH, and the only reason I don't have a HHH is because i refuse to craft my Haunted Metal.

 

One other thing too, people may think hats are stupid, but how else are you gonna identify that annoying heavy/soldier/whatever to the rest of your team? Well tell them he has a Pink Drill Sergeants Hat on and people may be able to pick him out easier.

It also helps you pinpoint disguised spies from a distance or when you're in a heated battle.

On a related note, spies don't have unusual effects so it's also easier to find them. Also all-class hats are positioned in the position a Heavy uses it, so it's a dead sign that it's a Spy.

the sh*t looks creepy as f*ck, but I've seen much worse. I'm actually impressed by how passable/alright it looks when the pony is running away/has their back turned to you.
