Yeah Killa, the server i meantioned is a 24/7 2fort server 34 max players, and it's sourceOP, there's another SourceOP server that me and The-King play on, it's stock rotation maps, but theres generally a que to get into it.

Yeah Killa, the server i meantioned is a 24/7 2fort server 34 max players, and it's sourceOP, there's another SourceOP server that me and The-King play on, it's stock rotation maps, but theres generally a que to get into it.

Yeah, I've been playing on that server for a good eight months and there's always a queue to get in but the people are cool as hell. A bit harder to play on than most servers because most the people are pretty good, but otherwise it's fantastic.

If it makes you feel any better there are people that play the game 40 hours a week, not counting idling. That's a goddamn full-time job, not a hobby you pick up every now and then. I've got one on my regular server, he's always on, and he's always a bitter c*nt. Your measly 12.5 are nothing in comparison.

 

EDIT: damn, loving those hats. I immediately thought "gotta get those", but then I remembered I still only have two non-promo hats after 170 hours of playtime, and I crafted one of them. http://www.sadtrombone.com

For some reason my TF2 refuses to run properly (it crashes constantly when I just recently joined a server). And just when I want to get back into the swing of things .

@Pear: A little tip, nobody wants crates, your best bet is to wait for some randomer to want crates for an insanely good oofer (I once got two keys 1:1 for crates) but really, you'll be lucky if you get anything for a single crate, chances are you'll get one weapon for two of them if you're lucky... Sometimes there are guys that buy crates at 1 scrap each, but they're scarce now... What I'm doing now is holding onto them in case valve decides whether or not it's a good idea to craft crates into something

 

Also, there's now a blog Post by Heavy himself... Turns out we DO get those hats... Hm... I don't think I want the Bear, my License to Maim looks way better on engie...

Whenever this happens to me, I 'verify integrity of game cache' and everything's fine.

You tried that?

I once had that problem and I solved it by reinstaling TF2... Needless to say it took quite a long time...

There is a much easier way to reinstall TF2 than deleting it and redownloading all the files, just go to steam/steamapps/[username] and then delete the Team Fortress 2 folder, go back to your games list and select play from your games list, it may seem to take a little while but it'll add all the needed files back into your steamapps folder and it'll launch TF2 up again all fine and dandy, just make sure you back up any wanted files like custom maps and screenshots etc.

 

I have to do that every so often but it keeps TF2 working all fine as well as me not having to download about 10GB of game data before i can play again.

Has it ever happened that there's a frustrating sniper on the other team? I still can't believe this guy Hika came back from his break from TF2,... He's one of those guys who just by seeing your foot managed to get a headshot on you... Sneaky guy D:

 

Which reminds me... for some reason, people playing Pubs in South America for some reason play way better than those in the US...

If my memory is not mistaken, doesn't that make it exactly the same as the old Flamethrower pre-nerfing, but with extra crits from behind?

 

Also, f*ck yeah hat colors in DX8, I haven't been forgotten, Valve does love me.
