Oh, and I just found my first hat: The Ghastly Gibus.

I think the Gibus is just the hat you get for killing someone else who's wearing it.

Do you receive random items upon login after a certain amount of time? I don't understand why I keep getting new items every once in a while without remembering them dropping in the first place.

 

Also, this game is boss and I'm playing it too much. GEtting to the point where my girlfriend has to hear about it. Today for instance "Mikeyboy, can you go get me some medicine? I feel ill" among noises of me upgrading my sentry and dispenser. "uh.. yeah... sure baby... f*ck where's my metal"

You need a Jag then... Seriously, I don't see any practical use for the normal wrench over jag, you can just shotgun your way instead...

 

Also, am I the only one who had run ins with golden wrenched folks?

Thought the Jag was more for offensive situations. I'd prefer the normal wrench for defending intel a la 2fort

Also, anyone want a Shogun item? I found a Concheror drop the other day, and since I rarely play as Soldier it's kind of useless for me...

I think using most paint is a waste itself, I mean, you can net a nice reclaimed for it, or even more if it's rare or something...

 

Unless you really want to paint some hat, then it could be useful, but most hats look awesome by default... Or horrible no matter what you do...

I love the Meet the Team videos, plus with this information and the fact that the Medic is my favourite (and most played) class makes me kinda excited.

f*ck, I know it's only a short film about a character class in a game, but it's awesome.

 

I also find it rather funny that the TF2 classes have more character than most video game characters in singleplayer games

Valve has released 3 new hats for a limited time - one of them $99 - with all proceeds going to Japan.
