I get called out as a cheater for killing disguised Spies a lot.

Most of the time though, it's really obvious that they're a Spy by the way they are playing (or they just run into my line of fire).

What is this, I don't even? I've never encountered a single hacker or cheater in all my 750 hours of essentially pure gameplay, where the f*ck are you people seeing them? I play with a group of people who the majority of them could take on competitive players and hold their own (consistently getting hacking accusations themselves), but never a single hacker, ever, at all, once.

 

Seriously, a hacker in Team Fortress 2? I've seen people whoring glitches and exploits, the one with the Amputator being the most annoying, but that's the extent of cheating I've witnessed.

As for the tips, pretty much what cjzera said. You shouldn't worry if you die a lot at start, since that raises the chances of getting weapon drops, and also do achievements to learn some of the interesting class features, etc. And you'll get more shooting skill as you play it more.

As for the tips, pretty much what cjzera said. You shouldn't worry if you die a lot at start, since that raises the chances of getting weapon drops, and also do achievements to learn some of the interesting class features, etc. And you'll get more shooting skill as you play it more.

Every now and then, when I get bored, I whip out the Ubersaw and drop down on unsuspecting Engys.

 

Their turret catches me first sometimes...
