In all honesty mate, TF2 isnt exactly COD, how many times you die doesn't matter, it's just about completing goals, in most wild matches you're alive for about 10 seconds with everything exploding and bursting out in flames around you. And in most cases, you dying is apart of the team effort to cause a distraction, if you go in guns blazing and the opposite team come after you, it's just a case of taking down as many as you can before you die and hope your team has actually done their part and got that damn cart moving!

Unboxed a Blighted Beak from a Festive Crate and found a a Spy Mask in the same week and just raking up drops. Guess that happens when you dont play TF2 in over a fortnight.

EDIT: Also, valve is definitely right when they say players don't look up, perfect sticky hiding place... I've been going demo quite a lot now that I have that awesome Crown :3

Same with me, I love my merryweather. Random drop from 6-7 months ago.

 

I still cant believe people pay for hats that way, I was speaking to a guy who trades hats, I was interested in his hounddog until he mentioned he trades hats of for paypal transactions. $6 per toque, $15 for the hounddog. The sad thing is, he said hes made quite a few hundred dollars from doing it.

Some guy gifted the entire server today and I got a Jag. But still, it's the thought that counts. By the way, would anyone be interested in a hat raffle? Nine people contribute with one reclaimed each and then it's crafted into a hat, after which it'll be randomly be given away to one of the participants.

That would actually be a pretty neat idea... how do you plan to randomly choose a winner though?

Hat draw or Internet randomizer. I can type up something more specific if there's enough interest. I won't be participating, of course, so you can be certain there'll be no foul play. I'm not bribable either, my moral compass is made of gold!

 

EDIT: If we get more than nine participants, we could do it with scraps instead and each scrap would be one draw in the hat raffle with a maximum of, say, five draws. This would however require a dozen or so people. We could also do the same if we get six-ish people only with reclaimed metal instead, but that might be a bit expensive. For now we'll stick to the original plan though.
