f*cking hell, Scouts are overpowered, they're already fast, why knock the enemy back as well?! With EVERY other unlock you see some people using it, some people not, it's only Force-A-Nature that you never see being left to collect dust, that is what I call proof they're overpowered like hell...

Though I agree the force a nature is a little overpowered, and I am mostly a scattergun kinda guy, it does have its pros. The knockback effect is great at pushing people off objectives, which only a select few classes can do. I also love the ability to jump higher cause of it. I think the gimp that needs to be placed on the gun is a linger reload time. That way, there is a longer chance to fight.

The scouts F-A-N isnt overpowered anymore, Valve released an update lowering the bullet damage, its still a bitchy noob gun mad.gif

They should make the scout slower, honestly, if it sends a heavy back THAT much, the scout would go flying, but then this isn't REALLY following the rules of Physics and real life, is it? tounge.gif

 

But still, more of a reason not to go F-A-N is needed.

 

Huntsman STILL ruins the effect of sniper too, it's not overpowered, but I've seen plenty of snipers doing close and medium range combat with the Huntsman and being quite good at it, something you just can't do with the sniper rifle.

..that was the whole point of the huntsman, making the sniper more versatile and able to go closer.

 

 

You're often killed by them while you're engaged with an enemy in the foreground, and most of the time the Sniper is so far away it feels like you couldn't have dealt with him even if you didn't have enemies nearby. In fact, the Sniper's goal is to create that relationship: he specifically wants to fight enemies outside their engagement range, because that's his primary advantage.

 

Which brings us back to the Sniper Rifle unlockable. In an effort to reduce some of the aggravation that other players feel towards the Sniper, we chose the goal of designing an unlockable that encouraged the Sniper to get a little closer to his target. We want him to give up some of his primary advantage in return for something else, so that enemies he kills feel like they were engaged with them, and feel like they could have survived if they'd just managed to fight a little better.

Yeah, I know that its the whole point, I just disagree with Valve about that being the best thing to do for a sniper, key word being sniper, as in, someone who shoots targets from very far away.

 

Still, I shouldn't complain, I just don't use huntsman (Sniper being left handed throws me off, too) and I rule with the normal rifle anyway.

The most redundant thing about the Sniper is the Razorback, forget the huntsman at least that is practical, no the Razorback is useless just completely and utterly useless.

I find the razorback quite useful. I'm mainly a rifle sniper and don't see the point of jarate, since I'm usually 50 meters away from the enemy. As for spies, I just hope for a lucky kukri crit tounge.gif

You can arc the jarate, it'll go as far as you can see if you just arc it.

i use the jarate instead, the jarate is awesome. its like they put grenades back in! icon14.gif

I never really liked Jarate, the 30% crit bonus just doesn't seem that great to me. I don't really miss grenades either, if a TFC game got big enough it would just be a wall of explosions. The MIRV did kick ass though, and grenades were pretty much the the only line of defense for a sniper close range.

Bit random, but you know one reason I <3 TF2 for 360? Everyone seems to suck. lol. I an chainstab like 5 guys and no one on the enemy team ever seems to turn around or check their back happy.gif. Like this Engineer I just owned. He left his sentry and dispenser in the intel room. I sapped them, he came in, then I stab him and immediately do the cigarette taunt. So my ally comes in and the machines explode and I'm getting a new cigarette with a body on the floor wink.gif The downside is, whenever you start to do good as a certain class, everyone on your team tries to go to that class so they can be good too, the bad part is it rarely works. monocle.gif I'm getting this for PC now that I have a new laptop. colgate.gif I don't consider myself the best at Tf2 but I think I'm better than the average 360 player. Which is most of the reason I want it for PC, PC players are better and I want new achievements/weapons.

 

 

Anyone have any Soldier tips? lol. Every other class I can play fairly decently except soldier. ph34r.gif

Soldier = Get medic, Rocketjump to high out of reach places, then pump rockets into your enemy.

 

Works for me anyway.

They totally f*cked up the blutsauger in my opinion. I mean, come on ! The medic can barely survive and now a -2hp pre sec deduction ? They could atleast make the kritzkrieg heal 15hp on taunt and not 10. I can count hundreds of times, where I killed a pyro with blutsauger and he left me 15 hp and burning. I tried healing with kritz, but died after 2 taunts

@Bean: Indeed. But I didn't do the filming and faceposing, just did the acting and gave the idea. Me and the other two who did this had some other ideas but they died.

Some good servers? The [RoFL] servers are good (my clan), the Reddit servers are good, Fap is good, and a bunch of others. I hate a lot of the top servers because they player count pad their servers. I immediately leave a server that lies about it's player count. (These are East coast servers I am talking about)

I so love playing on them, because people use microphones, which makes the gaming experience A LOT better. The players on euro servers are always quiet sad.gif
