I found some new perks:

 

Perk Slot one: Scavenger--Full resupply from dead enemies.

Perk Slot two: Hardline-- Killstreaks require one kill less.

Perk Slot three: Commando: Increased melee distance.

 

What caught my attention is perk two, that'd stop jugger and stopping power noobs from taking over. icon14.gif

I noticed they didnt bother giving you more ammo by default. I always felt that 2 mags was complete sh*te. So scavenger would be good. That is, if the full capacity isnt just 2 mags again, I want to walk over someone with 2 mags and double my ammo from 90 to 180.

 

Also In one of those videos I saw the player using the L85A2 (SA80) it looked pretty cool, the only thing confusing me right now is 1: it only has 25 rounds, wtf. 2: Why the f*ck did it have a bipod on it and a LMG style carrying handle.

 

Edit: (I was watching the 10 minute video, turns out they have the L86 LSW, the longer barrel version of the L85, and with as far as I know, a non existant drum mag for it. To turn it into a LMG. I guess thats why. So it isnt the L85 after all, unless it changes when you change the barrel or something. Alittle weird due to it not showing the heat shield or rear grip in the images, and the fact it doesnt have that carrying handle in real life. Also as far as I can see, no SUSAT sight.)

I also noticed there was only 4 pistols. Though the glock is considered an smg and not under handguns, but there is definately, a usp, a python and the deagle, as well as a 1911, so I guess the M9 wont be returning, which is a shame.

 

Cheytac looks nice as hell.

 

I also REALLY dont like the fact that the grenade/rocket launchers are no longer a perk, You have to give up your f*cking pistol slot. f*ck THAT. I would rather give up my life. What kind of bullsh*t is that. How could you NOT have room for a f*cking pistol on your leg, it makes no f*cking sense.

What annoys me really, about all this sidearm sh*t. Is basically what it looks like, is if you want to use a Shotgun, Machine pistol or Rocket Launcher/Grenade Launcher. You dont get to carry a pistol. It may seem better as you get to have a primary. But I personally want the ability to choose. If they are going to allow those weapons as sidearms. I dont see why they cant or wont, enable you to use them as primaries also and have a pistol instead. Or having a pistol in each slot. I want a shotgun/smg - pistol combo, I dont want to be carrying round massive clunky weapons. I like to feel light, and I dont like seeing weapons on peoples backs if they are already holding a two handed weapon. It looks cluttered.

 

Give me my pistols damnit. mad.gif

 

And for a game with the main bad guy called 'Makarov' you would have at least thought they may have added a makarov pistol in the game. Or at least something easterny like an MR-444 or TT33 or something.

 

Also I would like to be able to take the non useable lazer sight off of the USP. It kind of sucks by the looks of things no other pistols are available at low levels. But hopefully this is just due to that beta being restricted to only some weapons.

 

Btw, having things like slight of hand and infinite sprint in perk 1 slot, is totally going to whore everything up. Can you imagine a loadout like Dual SMG's, stopping power, steady aim, slight of hand, and extended mags.

Anyone else feel like this is a great combination?

 

Primary: Kriss w/ RDS & Artic Camo

Secondary: PP-2000

 

Perk 1: Sleight of Hand

Perk 2: Cold-Blooded

Perk 3: Steady Aim

DeathStreak: Copycat

 

Equipment: Throwing Knife

Special Grenade: Stun Grenade

Kill Streaks:

4 Kills = Care Package

5 Kills = Predator Missile

7 Kills = Attack Helicopter

 

Should be a great choice for me when I'm racking up some kills. Reason why I picked Care Package is because it's random and I could always have an AC-130 with some luck. Predator Missile seems like it'll be everyone's favorite as the opposing team doesn't really have a chance to get to cover once it zeros in on them. Attack Helicopter is just awesome.

 

If anyone wants some help coming up with their own future custom classes, use this thread.

The unreadable word is "sentries".

 

And since the predator/AC130/sentries/UAVs all get blocked from it, personally I'm going to make sure I work it into every class.

 

They really are going for the Desert Combat method of balancing everything by making everything f*ck sh*t up equally. I can't f*cking wait.

 

Also why are you so apesh*t about secondary weapons, namely pistols? They weren't worth sh*t in the first game unless you were up against some major scrubs.

For those who didn't watch all the vids, the UMP45 is in, and wait till the end of the vid; The kill at the end of any game is shown to everyone in slow-mo. I think that's pretty cool. Here's the vid.

 

To be honest all these perks and extra stuff look a bit like a clusterf*ck but as anuj says if they make everything equal it'll be great.

They should let the .50 cal and Desert eagle share ammo for such bullf*ckery

 

 

I used M9 because it shared ammo with the MP5 and other guns. You could go M9 only for an entire game if you felt like it.

On the issue on "Ghost is Gaz", it is not him, Gaz was/is much more stockier than Ghost.

Yeah, somebody pointed that out before but it's not necessarily true. In CoD4, when you muted somebody via their XBL profile, they would also be muted in-game and in the lobby.

 

However I would say that, even though that's not confirmation, we are still very likely to see it happen.

I love my pistols.

 

In CoD4, WaW and CoD3, I would always own with them.

 

CQC I could go up against anyone really no matter what they had and I could hold my own. The only problem was getting enough ammo, which is why I always had bandolier. I hope that is still in, otherwise I will have to use scrounger.

 

 

And I am glad everything is powerful. Which is one of the things is really needed. You wont have to balance as much stuff out if everything kills almost just the same as the next thing. Weaker weapons suffered unless you had stopping power or were in hardcore mode. What is the point if you only have 20 rounds of .32. May as well use a bbgun.

 

 

I am guessing that not using a killstreak reward and getting another still overwrites it. This is why I will be using UAV, which is at 3, then something at 6 or higher, then the highest one which I think is AC-130 at 11. I really get messed up from getting airstrikes and not being able to use them or using them and getting killed when im on a roll. It used to mess up my flow and I often just placed them anywhere or just overwrite them. I will probably be looking for more of the automated ones like the heli.

Still continuing the CSSource project I'm doing. Might up some screens in a bit, just to mess with Daz. I've ALMOST got a proper Bushmaster ACR and a MP5K RIS in there, but Source is acting up at the moment.

During the co-op video I noticed when the other player was down, he took out a pistol which seemed to me to be an M9, it was very bad quality obviously so I could only see the basic shape. It seems like it must still be in the game, but why it only had 4 pistols options in the list is a wonder to me.

 

Also Why the f*ck have they STILL not bothered to make players hold weapons by the f*cking foregrips like they are meant to? It was my number one complaint from 4. It was fine in singleplayer as most of it was different animations. But it seems to me like they are just f*cking lazy, due to the fact there are a number of different weapon sizes and lengths that they just had the player put their left hand on the magazine in third person. It annoys the sh*t out of me. Especially when people are holding pump shotguns and bolt action rifles, it looks f*cked up holding something that is non existant. Like walking around with a barge pole holding it with one thumb. For f*ck sake.

 

 

I have gone off the idea of singleplayer and co-op. I dont know why but it just never feels the same as multiplayer does, something to do with hit confirmation crosses, and feeling bullets hit people. It just feels like ai are made out of paper and dont seem to react to what you do to them. As if its a scripted move and they are told to fall down when I press the trigger on them. Though I still think alot of the mp is a pisstake, these vids are making me want it. Mostly just for the addictive quality of wanting to unlock stuff.

Everything I've seen so far in these videos are amazing. The only thing that pisses me off is how I have to give up my sidearm/pistol to have an RPG. I'm also hoping that I'll be able to have some for of extended clip for assault rifles. AK-47 drum mag ftw.

That would backfire so much in S&D. As soon as they notice their radar changing, they'll know someone's nearby.
