What do you mean when I get better? Better at the game, or with the gun? I'm already 4th Prestige level 40 with a K:D of 1.45

KD Ratio doesn't prove anything.

 

 

 

But with the F2000, the trick is to treat it like an SMG. Don't hold down the fire trigger. Never do that unless you're at close range. Fire it in short bursts. But in reality, there's no real reason to use the F2000 other than for challenges. It's basically the ACR, but with recoil.

 

I do agree that it's stupid that it's a level 60 unlock

How's does Kill to death not matter? That shows that I'm doing a lot more killing than dying. I know the K:D isn't always correct, but I monitor mine closely and actually pride myself on it, since I'm usually the guy leading my team or top 3 at least.

1.45 KD ratio isn't even that great in MW2. And seeing what kind of weapons, perks and killstreak/deathstreak rewards the game has, getting a high KDR isn't even that difficult.

All that matters to me is to win the round with the winning kill and/or to have most kills at the end of the round.

Exactly. As far as I'm concered, if you get at least 1 more kill than a death, you did good for your team

It's not the highest I've seen but it's a lot better than most I have seen. It really only matter to me that I go positive anyway. I'm usually atleast +10 or 15

My KDRs 1.02, i dont care if it goes up, i dont care if it goes down!

Sometimes playing the game the right way is not always KD friendly!

 

For example if im playing domination with a tenth prestige, 2.85 KD guy, who sits in a corner camping for his chopper gunner, and i play with a unprestiged level 70, who has a 0.35 KD but is throwing himself on every flag he sees, i know who id rather have on my side again.

If your K/D is above 2.40 your most likely a camper. My K/D is 1.80. And I'm saying K/D matters, If I play against a clan where their highest K/D is 1.30, I'm pretty sure they are gonna lose against us. Anything above 1.50-2.00 maybe/is a challenge.

For TDM (I mostly play this mode), this is unacceptable. If your 17-16, 20-19, its gonna hurt your chances of winning. When I get games like that I have good chance of losing (unless I have a good teamate).

 

So far I have 84,000 + kills - 40,000+ Deaths.

I stopped giving a damn about KDR a long time a go. But as someone said before i'd rather capture points on a map which will probably get me more deaths than kills but seeing my team win in the end is way better.

My K/D ratio is around 2.2. Most of the time I usually move around the map.

 

Just had a pretty good game on Terminal. Spent the first half of the game around the plane and B flag, then I moved up to that thing in the middle there. That place is great as you can cover all three points from there.

K/D's just another statistic on the game you like to see raise, mines been stuck on 1.75 for ages now, and i RARELY camp, i usually go insane with FAMAS. A win streak of 102 on Domination means you can't be that much of a selfish player.

I rarely quickscope though in Modern Warfare 2. I try to play MW2 as realistic as possible but everyone knows no CoD is going to be like that. But nice ending.

My sarcasm detector is going off the charts due to huge amount of sarcasm in that statement.

 

Anyhow, anyone here fancy the AK-47? I started using it recently and I quite like it. It's a great gun for rushing and taking objectives. The recoil makes it hard to do anything with at long ranges, but if you just burst fire you can hit targets no problem. Adding G18's in akimbo for the secondary makes a pretty good class.

Ak-47 is awesome. I hated it at first, but once I started to use it, I found it to be pretty good. One of the better weapons in the game

AK47 is awesome, no attachments (maybe add FMJ). It works well in Terminal.
