This game is so infested with hackers, it's not even funny anymore. At least 1 out of every 3 games I go into has someone who is hacking. It's bullsh*t. I always report them, and yet I always end up encountering them again; still here and still hacking. Something seriously needs to be done. Overall, I think everyone is just fed up now. I can't even get a nuke anymore without anyone accusing me of wall-hacking or using an aimbot.

The Automatic-FAL Hack, which I can easily counter with my already automatic Assault Rifles. And the Golden DEagle, which doesn't effect gameplay whatsoever.

The PS3 is incredibly hard to hack/mod which is why you never see modders in games on MW2 or any other game, whereas the PC and 360 are easy as hell to mod and makes the chances of seeing a hacker/modder quite high.

In all honesty the only hack I've ever seen on the PS3 is the Prestige hack, other than that I all I saw were glitch abusers.

I've never seen many glitches on 360. Some old care package glitches back in the day but haven't seen those in a long while. The prestige lobby bullsh*t, I don't really consider it a hack, just being a lazy bitch to brag about something you've never earned. And seriously, $15 for the map pack does kind of suck. At the same time, like said before, it's only about five bucks more than the norm. Not a big deal to me, I'm going to buy it. New maps and old maps are fine by me. And new titles and emblems. Hopefully they add more camo and other sh*t also. Maybe some new challenges.

How do I report a cheater?

 

It is not necessary to report cheaters playing on VAC-Secured servers - the VAC system will detect and ban these individuals. We appreciate the intentions by reporting individual players suspected of cheating, however unsolicited reports of cheaters will be discarded.

I laugh at how IWNET fails in general and how IW failed to implement VAC properly. VAC is good and I haven't met any cheater in any other VAC supporting game... Maybe VAC removes all the cheaters from the other games and pushes them in MW2?

I wouldn't say the PS3 is incredibly hard to hack, if I remember correctly the UFO (and other hacks) for CoD4/WaW just required people to put their save file on a USB stick and hex edit it on PC. But there's no JTag hack for PS3, which is a large advantage right now. Most of the hacks on 360 are because of this, which unfortunately became popular just before MW2 was released and allows for some really bad mods.

 

But yeah, hacking on the PC also seems to be getting worse. There are still people getting banned, but not nearly enough. I never found it too bad for hackers until recently, it seems like every time I play there's at least one person hacking.

I just had a thought, remember the weird thing when you put FMJ as a lone attachment on the M240 and MG4 it'd say Explosive Rounds? Maybe it's a nod to a new attachment that was left out and replaced or took out and left on the side for the DLC, just being skeptical. My guess is that they were considering adding Explosive Rounds as the 'FMJ' unlock and keeping the 'Deep Impact' perk but along the way they probably ditched Deep Impact and thought that Explosive Rounds was a bit 'too much' and went with the FMJ unlock. And this just being a leftover because they haven't tested this game properly...

 

I wouldn't count too much on 'extra content' with the Map Pack.

The effects of FMJ in MW2 look more like those of Explosive Rounds, and FMJ for shotguns doesn't exist, as shotguns don't shoot bullets. The MW2 "FMJ" rounds are just Explosive Rounds, but the name is wrong.

 

Also, most of the bullets used by the military ARE FMJ.

I would have gotten my first nuke today... The one day I decide to switch out the nuke for the Pavelow. Seeing as this is only the 2nd time I've had an opportunity to get a nuke (the other time I had not unlocked the killstreak yet), it will be another 100 hours of play before the stars align just right for me to have another chance. Oh well, gaming really is more fun when you don't worry about silly things such as these.

my best score is 30 and 9. it was on sub base and i was sort of camping. i was using the fences in that one building and had my hb sensor. don't play a lot though, so most of you serious players can probably do better.

 

but i did win 6 deathmatches matches in a row. scar H and hb sensor

Knows for ages. And it's not just the FAL, I used a ACR Shotgun and it also has unlimited range. AFAIK every shotgun attachment is unlimited range

I've had a few dual nukes before, you can only call one in. If you try to call in the second nuke, a message is displayed basically saying that you can't use it.

I agree. Some people might enjoy it but not me. I earned all that stuff and I don't want to have to earn it all over again! right now I have all weapons and most attachments unlocked and am experimenting with various custom classes.

 

I must say that after playing so long with my Fall-camo ACR w/ holo sight, it's nice to play with no camo. Everyone uses camo! I've never seen anyone but myself use a weapon with a higher attachment (ACOG, holo, thermal, etc.) and not have it camo'd. My flat-black ACR w/ ACOG sight is particularly pretty.

Only now do I realise how sh*t this game's multiplayer is.

 

- f*cking noob tubes. Get rid of the damn things.

- Semtex. WTF is with these. They take no skill. Hell, the grenade indicator wasn't even on the screen and a nearby Semtex killed me

- Air Support. Always goes for me

- Predator Missile. It's like I have some massive sign above me saying "Kill this guy!". Those stupid things always target me
