Now, I'm all for new maps. I thought this might even give me some incentive to put MW2 back in the 360 and take Bad Company 2 out.

 

Then I realized that I'd be paying $15 for 3 new maps, and 2 I've already played.

I just said this to oldage on MSN, you'll get all these little kids who will beg their parents for MS points to get it, if they can't get the maps they won't be able to play games with all their XBL friends and lose them all and god forbid they have to actually get REAL friends. A huge percentage of people who play it are like 12 and are like what i said above, so Activision will get a f*ck load of cash and won't listen to people like me and you guys who think the price is sh*t.

Played a couple of games again and I was surprised that there weren't any hackers. Before I knew, I was once again in a hack infested game. Two games after were also full of hackers... don't let it start again.

It's confirmed that there will be new callsign items (402 asked for suggestions a while ago), but that's about it for concrete information.

 

There are rumours that there will be more game modes and possibly new camos, detailed by the same people that were correct about the rest of the leaked info.

If it's the same price on PS3 (which it almost certainly will be) then I'll be holding off until it goes down in price. I've been playing a lot of Far Cry 2 lately (50 hour story my a**!) and am getting EFLC and JC2 at the end of the month...so MW2 isn't really at the top of my list anymore.

 

Thus continues the downfall of Activision's CoDs...

I love to play MW2 despite its glitches, bugs and hacks. But 1200 MS points for 3 new maps and 2maps from CoD4? Really? Not sure I can bring myself to buy it, think I will wait til it's on sale. World at War gave you 3 new maps PLUS zombies for $10 if i'm not mistaken. disappointed by this......

In Modern Warfare 2, there are unused files for a 'Golden Desert Eagle', which can be used by modding or hacking. Its appearance is very similar to that of the Golden Desert Eagle from Call of Duty 4.

I compare it to World at War, where we got more content for less money. The zombie mode was practically a game by itself. So $15 does seem a little pricey for what they are offering IMO.

You should be f*cking happy it only costs 15 bucks for you. In our country, the currency sucks SO MUCH that we pay 43PLN which is 20 USD, but we also earn lot less money (we have to pay higher tax) so it's JUST like 43 bucks ;/ Man, that really sucks...

Was just playing a game of S&D and my team was up 3-0. Then some hacker joined and started shooting us through walls and sh*t. He ended up getting it tied at 3-3. Final round and it was only me and him left. I came around a corner and right there he was. I emptied my whole mag into the guy. Point being, I pwned the hacker.

Wow...this game has some of the worst spawning I've ever seen. Either you spawn on the opposite side of the map from everybody, or you spawn into gunfire! I just spawned next to a teammate directly in front of 3 enemies and was dead literally within a second. I could see myself spawn on the killcam...

 

CoD4 had pretty decent spawning so I wonder what went wrong with MW2?

And another thing; why are mounted grenade launchers the first unlock!? They should be the last! I got 7 kills, called in a harrier which got me 1 more before being destroyed. I ran out of ammo and picked up a scar which I used to kill 2 people. I killed one more which got me my chopper gunner but as he was being riddled with bullets he launched a grenade which killed me...

 

IW better do some attachment rearranging in MW3 if it's ever made...

IW better tone down M203's and make them as powerful as they are in BC2. They're good in that game, though not overpowered in any way.

 

Also they should've provided 'strobes' for teammates in HC when you're using Chopper Gunner/AC130. It just sucks blowing up UNINTENTIONALLY teammates...

 

Still enjoying OMA tubing while I can!
