EDIT: f*ck no. This HAS to be either a patch or bullsh*t. Surely someone without the DLC picking up a Skorpion would crash MW2, since he doesn't have the game data for it

He wouldn't even be able to be in the same game as someone with the weapon. Remember that you've got to have data for all the weapons that other people are using, because you need to know what it looks like and how it behaving to determine if it's gonna kill you. Which is what my point about splitting the community into two (i.e. a segregation) earlier was about.

Nope, it's talking about two maps, not characters; "including "Crash," a war-torn urban environment; and "Overgrown," which features a massive dry creek bed."

Hopefully Crash and Overgrown won't be the only maps returning. I was kind of hoping for Bog, Countdown, or Broadcast.

im sure they will release patch that includes for example skorpion for those who dont have DLC, but im thinking about perks... what if someones using copycat and uses it get access to DLC perks? just wondering...

IW separate people with the DLC (well, they did in COD4) so they're in separate lobbies to people without it, so this shouldn't be a problem at all.

I'm sure if DLC's released they'll be a seperate playlist for Map packs, So other people without the map packs can't get into them. This is ofcorse if they do release new weapons..

Had my best game ever earlier on Demolition on Rundown.

 

Ended up with three Harriers and two Chopper Gunners. Finished the game off with a nuke. Final score was 89-7-7

Yeah, that's why its the only map that's left. I've only seen 2 people get Nukes there. One guy was shooting at every Window and eventually got it, the other I came kinda late and saw him get it (Was on my Team, I've NEVER been nuked ).

 

I've tried the AC130 on it and no luck either. Gonna take a while.

I've had a few nukes on Skidrow. Trouble with that map is that the easiest end to get started on a nuke (A) is the worst place to start too, because air support is practically useless towards the C area on Domination. Starting at C and working towards a nuke can take a while longer depending on how the enemy team are playing, but you can easily trap them in their spawn at A with the CG, as long as the rest of your team aren't just sitting back in your spawn.

Most kills I've gotten there with a chopper gunner is 10. I was 3 kills away from a nuke! So it's not impossible. Just really difficult and dependent on how stupid the other team is. If they're smart they'll huddle in a building but there's always a couple oblivious stragglers.

Also got the tactical knife on the DEagle now after a few games of DEagle sniping in Hardcore team deathmatch

i got my fourth nuke on favela yesterday.at the last kill i camped a house. then one of the enemys ran up stairs then i thought i was gonna die but he didnt see me and i stabbed him he was shooting me from the ground facing the window. then i just waited at corner of door and he ran past. i guess i was lucky.

What is people's obsession with the FAMAS? It's practically just the M16. I hate getting killed by these burst fire weapons...

I heard from a commentary video on Youtube that people prefer the FAMAS because it fires slightly faster than the M16.

 

According to Call of Duty Wiki, the FAMAS fires at 460 RPM (overall) and the M16 fires at 450 RPM (overall).

Was just playing some Demolition and I had 5 straight games where I ended up getting a nuke. I'm not sure how I did it. Just luck I guess. Even more surprising was the fact that nobody called me a hacker. Unfortunately the streak ended after a clan of hackers joined the game.

f*ckin' A! I like that game company's put out old maps for their games but I hate how you get charged (usually) $10 (or atleast a fraction) for old maps. It seems they sell pretty well though.
