Been getting a few legit Ac-130's lately, never thought I've live to see the day I'm getting a 11 kill streak legit. One step closer to getting nukes I guess

Me too, what's your Killstreak set-up? Mine at the moment is Predator Missile > Harrier Airstrike > Chopper Gunner/AC-130 (depends how I feel). And no, I'm not putting on the nuke because I still need some practice before I'll even come close.

I use the same setup as you. Eventually I might go Harrier -> AC-130 -> EMP and then swap EMP for nuke

I used to be able to get Chopper Gunners without breaking a sweat, now lately I can't even get a f*cking Harrier. It's quite depressing, I think I'm either out of practice or people are just getting smarter or I'm getting dumber.

yes on xbox live i think its cuz their is too many modderes. i used to get chopper gunners like all the time but ever since mods have been going around i cant do that good.

360 barely has any modders.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a modded game. Are you telling me you've never noticed the people who fire the clip of an FAL in 1 second or less? Modded controllers (used to be known as Turbo Controllers before online multiplayer) are a problem too. I've mostly noticed it in Free-for-All.

I believe you can't use modded controllers in MW2. There's a limit to the ROF.

Yeah you can. I have a friend who uses one. He fires pistols and sniper rifles like a machine gun. The machine guns fire extra quick. He does use the FAL to unload full clips in a second. This is a real life friend mind you, I've known him for years and he's always into cheating sh*t like that. That controller cost him $60 USD.

Anyway, I thought I'd be a little less harsh on the Desert Eagle this prestige.... f*ck off. Can't even get a kill with the damn thing. First two shots send it over to the right, then when you get your aim right again you have to reload. Total BS.

The Deagle is the only pistol I've used seriously. I've f*cked around with the others but I wanted to get my tactical knife with the desert eagle. And I did, took me a couple nights worth of playing for a few hours. I'm at about 125-130 kills with it now since I've been mostly using it with my tactical knife and nothing else just for sh*ts 'n giggles. Most people prefer the magnum since it's about equal to the deagle with maybe more range or accuracy, not sure which. I still like the deagle even though it jumps like a motherf*cker.

I've been using the P90 a lot lately, and I've gotta say it's much better than it was in CoD4 imo. It's perfect for objective based games like CTF and Demo, lots of ammo and with Marathon you can spawn trap easily. If you wanna give up being stealthy whack Stopping Power on with a silencer and you can basically dominate their spawn Went 55-10 in a Demo game on Afghan with it.

Oh my God, I just had one of my highest scoring games ever a while ago. It was in Demolition, and I planted/defused the bomb multiple times. I ended each round with a match bonus ranging from 2,000XP to 4,000XP and got a challenge for my USP. 45 getting me 10,000XP, ended the game with 21 kills, 1,500XP, and at least 1,000XP from planting and defusing, ending the game with between 14,500 and 16,500XP.

Headquarters in cod4 was fast paced fun with lots of xp to be earned. Now this HQ playlist takes much longer to complete a level and when your on the losing team, EVERYONE leaves

You need to know how to use it right.

 

For one, you have to aim from the waist up to get a two shot kill. You also have to hold the right analog stick to the bottom left side a little to adjust it's recoil. You'll spray with it just fine.

 

You should try hardcore with this thing. You will love sniping with it and it will make you feel good inside getting that OHK. It did for me.

I use the Deagle just for the shear gansta appeal of it. Just look at the f*cking thing, it's so outrageously over the top it's amazingly fun. Sure it may not be the most effective pistol, and you can't aim it for sh*t, but boy is it fun. Akimbo with the thing is just so f*cking ridiculous as well, I mean is that even possible to do in real life without shattering both sets of radius, ulna, humerus and scapula you've got?

 

Not that we're still in the realm of grounded-in-reality-arcade-shooter any more, HBS anyone?

Wee, I just got my second nuke!

 

I only put the reward setup to Nuke yesterday or so. Might have been luck, because I got my Harrier-unlocking kill by knifing someone who ran past me and didn't see me. Harriers got me the 4 kills for my Chopper Gunner. Which, by the way, sucked at first, but then they started to spawn in packs of three. Unlocked the Nuke. Got killed. Was at 26-4 when I got it. In the end, it was 37-15 .

 

 

And, yeah, I Prestiged a week or two ago. Sucked at first, but then I unlocked Scavenger Pro, Cold-Blooded and Ninja Pro. Rockin' with the M4A1 until I unlock the ACR.

 

Got killed at 23 kills before that match on Derail. Oh, well, at least I got a nuke the next match .

Agree'd, when i first played with it, it was a nightmare. hated it, considering how much i loved it on CoD4 aswel.

Think the most effective pistol is the Akimbo USP tho, wouldn't mind trying to get the Akimbo Deagles though.

 

Anyone else love running around with a sniper? Alot of people do it for Ego with their ridiculous Gamertags like 'IlluZions-Xx' but i just do it for pure fun, nothing beats taking a whole team out on S&D with just your sniper whilst everyones spectating, f*cking brilliant.

Just curious, what's the best game you guys have had without a killstreak reward above 10? It seems that nowadays people get ridiculous scores with the assistance of a chopper gunner or AC130. Some Harrier influenced but they usually get about 3 kills on a decent day.

 

My best so far was a 56-10 on a Demolition game in Afghan. No I didn't camp, rushed the f*ck out of the bomb sites for my team on offence and defended B with a Tac Insertion (no-one ever sees it coming ). My killstreak set-ups were the Predator, Harrier and Pave Low. Picceh!

Challenges, Titles and Emblems

 

It is currently unknown what Challenges, Titles, and Emblems there are, only how many of each. There are 20 new Challenges, 10 Titles, and 10 Emblems.

 

Perks

 

Perks are going to be added in the map pack. The first two are new, while the third is from previous games.

 

* Quickhands (allows the player to switch weapons faster)

* Heterochromaniac (allows the player to toggle thermal vision)

* Overkill (allows the player to equip two primary weapons.)

 

Weapons

 

There are three new weapons to be added in the map pack.

 

* Dragunov - A semi-automatic sniper rifle.

* Skorpion - A submachine gun

* Unknown weapon

 

Special Ops

 

There are five new Spec Ops missions in the new section, "Foxtrot".

I call bullsh*t on it. The maps could be true and finally they would release some content that is worth paying for (compared to all previous COD mappacks). But then again, they're just maps. Back in the day you got double the ammount of maps for a game for free (on PC) in regular patches... Or well yeah, with modtools.

Juggernaut is in the game, just it's been renamed to Painkiller, has a time limit and is only active after you die a bunch, deal with it. It's coming to the PS3 too eventually, you say it like it's only gonna be on 360 forever.

I'm also calling bullsh*t on the rumours for the DLC, 'cept for the maps. I can't see there being anything but maps, and I'll explain why. Doing a map-only DLC pack (that is, no weapons or perks) is easy to implement: you can create a playlist for players with the new maps only, or somehow ensure that people without the maps don't end up in a lobby with a new maps being played, simple right? On the other hand, with weapons and perks, they can be used on any map so you have to segregate the community permanently into the haves and have nots. This is because those who don't download the DLC won't have the files for any of the weapons or perks, or alternatively everyone has to get the download the files then pay to unlock them which seems a bit of a nasty move by IW.

 

Actually thinking about it, it's a great plan financially, but it would f*ck with your fan base by effectively making it so you had to get the DLC or you'll be at a permanent disadvantage to those who do have it. With bonus content that can used universally across the game you've got two choices: segregate the players or leave those who don't want to pay at a disadvantage with a load of data on their HD they don't want.

 

Hoping that the shipment and vacant rumours ring true though.

My best was on Underpass (demolition) a few days ago. Predator -> Harriers -> Pave Low. Just sniping in the building over-looking C. And then climbing out to defend A.

Anyways: 5 maps in a map pack with the extra 'promised' callsign stuff. Yeah, kind of what I expected. Eventhough it would be awesome if they'd add more content with the 'DLC' I still call bullsh*t on all those rumors.

Note I said good games with killstreak rewards less than 10. Which means no chopper gunner, AC130, EMP or Tac Nuke.

 

Not a bad score but with Chopper Gunner I'm in the 70's for kills on a very good day. I just don't use them anymore because I find it more challenging to work for your kills rather than do what I see a lot of people doing lately which is get to 11 kills, chopper gunner, rinse and repeat. Granted it works wonders but there's something more rewarding in getting a result lke 56-10 with a max reward of a Pavelow.

EDIT: f*ck no. This HAS to be either a patch or bullsh*t. Surely someone without the DLC picking up a Skorpion would crash MW2, since he doesn't have the game data for it
