PC Meet Reminder

 

Just a reminder to all PC players who singed up for the MW2 PC meet, that it is going tomorrow (Sunday, Feb 20'th) at 1700 GMT. Since I have the best PC, I'll be the host and invite everyone to the meet. Depending on how many show up, we'll either play a public match or do a private match.

What is it with the UMP? Everyone seems to use it, but what makes that gun so good?

When I was nearing my prestige, I generally used the UMP w/ Rapid Fire and Akimbo, Steady Aim Pro, and Stopping Power Pro. I racked up 30-5 on FFA in Wasteland, so it's generally a kick-ass weapon, best SMG in my opinion.

Well if you unlock the Bling? I think its called then you get to use 2 primary attachments for a gun. It gave me rapid fire and then the red dot sight on the UMP. Made a world of difference with that red dot. Played a couple hours just now, seriously why do people have to use those cannon tubes on the gun? f*cking retarded getting spawned on a small map and just getting hit with one of them, no chance to do anything but die. Same with people who camp, although its very satisfying killing their ass when the second time you pass that spot.

 

Maybe its just me, but there's a huge difference of players on the Xbox compared to the PS3. I mean over the 2/3 days I played on my brothers PS3 I didn't encounter any noob tubers, amazing players(you know that seem to kick everybody's ass no problem) or general play that pisses you off. Very strange.

Had the most embarrassing thing happen to me earlier. I was playing Search & Destroy, and I was the only person left alive on my team, and there was only one left on the opposing team as well. I searched for him, and I found him planting a bomb. I killed him but not in time. He had planted his bomb. Now the embarrassing part. I was the only person left alive from both teams so I tried to defuse to bomb but it wouldn't let me. I had a whole 45 seconds to defuse it and I couldn't. I sat there the whole time hitting F and nothing. Must have been a glitch or something. Ether way it was pretty embarrassing. Never heard the end of it.

yea theres a bug in SnD, i was playing it the other day and i had the bomb, i went to plant at a bomb site and it wouldn't let me!!! trying in every spot of the bomb, i swapped to my side arm from my intervention and then could plant, crazy sh*t and proves the game is still broken.

Same kind of thing has happened to me a few times in HQ: I get to the HQ and start capping it, the progress bar goes full, BUT it won't capture it! Maybe two seconds later the progress bar zeros and starts from the beginning again. And there was no enemies at the HQ the same time with me.

Nope, I don't use it either, I prefer my scar with extended mags FAR over the ACR.

You guys really are missing out on the ACR, in my opinion at least. It's easily my favourite; what with most user friendly iron sights, good power/fire rate ratio and its versatility. The only attachment I don't regularly use on it is the masterkey which, to be fair, I haven't used on any AR much at all.

 

Although, my opinion is a bit biased: I've put way too much focus on the ACR seeing as I'm gunning for the 2500 headshots challenge/title. I only have like 500 so far.

Just got my third nuke today playing on rundown. I ended 32-1 (death by nuke, obviously) while my team's total score was 41. I felt kinda bad because it was so easy. Rundown's spawn points make the chopper gunner a total spawn-raping machine. I got a nuke on the same map last night as well.

 

I really should be trying for longer killstreaks but I always fire off the nuke as soon as I get it out of excitement. Plus it would really suck to put off the nuke until later and end up losing connection or something...

I agree with that opinion. The SCAR's fire rate is to slow for me and the AK47 has to much recoil and a low rate of fire. Sometimes I think the ACR is a little overpowered if anything.

honestly, the ACR's ironsight is probably one of the most annoying ironsight in the game, it looks so bulky and it feels like it shoots way slower than any other gun, the only good point is it's accuracy, but the MG4 completely f*cks its accuracy up with a grip. (keep in mind that it is my opinion)

 

and I'm just plain sh*t with it because it lacks the stopping power aswell.

The ACR's ironsights are amazing, only time I ever quit using them is when I'm playing a sniper map, in which case I upgrade to an ACOG, because nothing feels better than sniping some asshole with an assault rifle while they're scoping you out with their intervention.
