They must have coded the care package marker in the most stupendous way. How hard is it to record that a care package marker has been thrown so it can't be thrown again. They really must have coded it in some f*cked up way.

I've been using the Intervention for the whole of 4th prestige so far, currently Lvl 50 and have all the titles/badges aside from the gold Intervention title with the skulls, 200 head shots to go.

Yeah, the Intervention is a lot of fun once you get good with it. It's frustrating as all hell if you're have an off day though, hah. I think I'm only 20 headshots away from my red tiger camo.

 

Campers can be a lot of fun to play with sometimes. On Highrise, someone managed to get on top of the south building, so I just tossed a 'nade up and blew him up. The fun part is, he kept throwing down his tactical insertion up there. I must've killed him 12 times.

As far as snipers go, Intervention ftw. The EBR is like an underpowered assault rifle.

Personally, I prefer the M21 EBR over the Intervention. I'll admit I'm not the greatest at sniping. Unless a target is standing still, I usually can't take them out with one shot. By the time I reload, they can be behind cover, or have killed me. With the M21 EBR though, if I don't kill on the first shot, I can just squeeze off another and kill them. If they are standing still, it's just that much easier. I'm also kind of emotionally attached to the M21 as well. Got my first nuke using it.

 

Are there any sniper combinations using the different attachments, and perks that make a one hit kill with any of the rifles?

A M21 with FMJ, Thermal sights, and stopping power might be a one shot kill in the upper chest region. I'm not sure though.

Why FMJ? All that does is increase bullet penetration

i primarily use;

 

primary:Intervention w/FMJ

secondary:akimbo magnums(although its your choice)

equipment:claymore or semtex

spec. grenade:flashbang

perk 1:sleight of hand

perk 2:stopping power

perk 3:ninja(nothing worse than getting picked off cause a HBS)

 

its most of the time one hit kill , i'd say 7/10. higher sensitivity for quick scopes is best. i really cant stand the Barrett either but if i had to pick a second favorite sniper rifle i'd say the WA2000.

If you look at the stats when you put it on it boosts the damage a bit too.

Actually it adds damage. Use a .50 with a silencer and fmj and you will notice the difference.

BTW The WA2000 is the best sniper rifle, fact. It has the damage of the Intervention/Barrett, and the recoil of the M14 EBR. And this is not some joke or somthing, it's true. I only heard it a week ago or something.

Meh, it all comes down to personal preference. Supposedly the .50 cal and the Intervention are the same damn gun, just one is bolt action. I still prefer the Intervention though, even if it is a technically a worse gun.

 

I think the game is balanced enough that there are no "better" guns. Just whatever you prefer.

Nah, no Bluetooth for 360. It would be nice, since most headsets have some pretty big flaws.

 

I have a Tritton AXPro gaming headset but using the mic with it is difficult since the 2.5mm cable/adapter creates a lot of static if the cable rotates in the jack, so I'm stuck using the MS headset if I play on Live with people.

By the way i know a silencer reduces the range on a weapon, but does it reduce damage?

I love using silenced weapons, lately ive been using the scar with just red dot though.

But now ive gone back to the silence one it seems weaker almost
